In line with other reviews. Great place, authentic, warm welcome, delicious food, amazing game drives (leopards, wild dogs and lions every game drive), and a very cool guide (Pound). the staff is amazingly nice. We had such a great time! (for our honeymoon)

The best lodge we had in Botswana. Everything is perfect, position, food, staff, service, wildlife, nature, etc. probably the best sighting of animals. Thank you to all the staff especially to Ona for organizing special romantic dinner in the bush for the celebration of our anniversary. Also, thank you to Machaba Camps support team especially to Andile who is very helpful and patient to reply to our many questions. We noted that all the lodges are full booked, but they found a way to book for us in different places for our trip.

Excellent Camp. The experience is unique, The game drives are fantastic and the guides are great. The tents were amazing and huge! This camp is an unforgettable experience that everyone should do. Food wise it was delicious, and it’s so fun at night because all the guests eat together. 10/10 experience nowhere else. So much better than any lodge in chobe.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Machaba camp is ran by a family and this is reflected in the whole atmosphere. The management and staff go above and beyond to make one feel welcome and at home. The service is impeccable and the guides are extremely knowledgeable. When you're not enjoying the fantastic meals and service in the camps, you're being guided to amazing wildlife sightings while being provided with in depth knowledge about the environment. The activities include walking safaris, boat (and mokoro) rides and even helicopter flights. A true 5 star experience in a place that isn't intrusive to it's surroundings. HIGHLY recommended

Absolutely stunning camp. Being on the ground has a total different feel to a camp that's decked up. Loved everything about it. Staff were so welcoming and hospitable. Big thank you specially to Masole and our guide B.t. B.t was super knowledgable and tried his best to get us to see "everything on our list". He was just great. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay soooo incredible.

Shaun and Elka are world class. Shaun has been a guide here forever and knows the interplay of all the different animals and recognizes each one by its markings. I kinda felt like I was part of a super fun safari reality show with all the education and background we got on the animals.
