One of Africa's finest reserves. Unfenced, untamed, nature at its best. Limited access due to the challenging road conditions, thick sand and water, makes for a rewarding experience. Botswana has implemented a low volume high price model on Tourism, but in today's world I guess that's the price you need to pay in order to break away from the crowds and have an experience of a lifetime.

One of the most amazing places I've seen in my life. Full of amazingly different species and incredibly varied in its aspect: grasslands, channels, ponds, etc. A must!

I really enjoyed every single moment at the camp. The staff was very friendly and ever smiling. Food was awesome. I loved the way the presented the evening menu, mostly the wines. Big up. On the game drive, I was guided by Wise. The man has vast experience and knowledge about the wildlife. The man really made me love adventure more. The rooms wow. I enjoyed the morning birds songs. I have travelled on most on the camps but Camp Moremi I salute it. I can't to go back there again, and this time around for many more days.

When we visited Moremi it was early in the morning for a self game drive. We saw a few animals: elephant, hyena, impala, zebra, hippos and some smaller species too.

Untouched nature, an absolute lack of asphalt and isolation make Moremi the ultimate adventure destination. For a smooth trip book and make all payments in advance. This is a 4x4 only park and a GPS with an appropriate map are essentials.

The best reserve I've ever seen. There are animals literally everywhere, around every corner there's always something special that will leave you in awe. The roads are not well-maintained, they're sandy, but they definitely add to the adventure. Be cautious of the numerous elephants you'll encounter; they can be dangerous during your safaris.

A spectacular place with an abundance of wild animals, birds and flora. No walls or fences - which gives the campsites a genuine wildlife experience. Ablutions at Xakanaxa and Kwai campsites are respectable considering the remoteness, although could be better considering prices

Wildest safari we've been so far. Expect nothing but wild life (no wi fi, facilities, shops, even directions, no roads), with a difficult access (only by 4x4 and difficult road to access (2h from Maun)) but also true life and pureness. Exciting and exceptional place 100% recommended. We did a selfdrive safari so maybe that's why we couldn't spot lions nor leopards but we could enjoy plenty of other animals. Be aware that Department of Wildlife and Nature Parks in Botswana are increasing their fees so it is very expensive, we paid them at their office in Maun but we saw people paying them there at the gate. Furthermore, we were not given a map (it costed 300 Pulas!!!!, or more, depending on who is at the reception gate) and there aren't indications in the park (or they were damaged) so it is really easy to get lost. 5 stars because the place is really worth it but it need some maintenance taking into account the price that's paid.

Awesome elephant encounters. Very large herds and very intimidating.

Comparing to other parks like Serengeti, Etosha, Kruger - Moremi is pretty bad. You barely see any animals, mostly impalas, some giraffes, some elephants - not more than 3 at the same time. You spend whole day driving on very bumpy road and barely see anything. Good for the first time but bad for people that has seen anything else. Our guide thinks that Moremi is the best because you have to work hard to find animals - I don't see anything good in this. Pros though - if its not raining you can easily drive through the park with a 4x4

What an experience of a lifetime!!! Prepare for no power or wifi - that's the point though, to unplug! The roads were not as bad as we expected and the animals were plentiful.

Lots of wild animals. Terrible roads. Hot in the day, cool at night.

We stayed for 2 nights at South Gate. The two Ladies, working at the gate, when we entered, we're not very friendly (was the first time we experience something like that in Botswana), rather annoyed with us, desturbing then while they were sunbathing 12:00. The solar geysers are not effective as the water were never warm. We were lucky, as lions and elephants visit us in the camp. The local honeybadger is very aggressive and will do everything to get food. The main thing for us as South Africans was the price to camp, more then a R1000 per person per nite in our own camping trailer. The road from Maun to South Gate is also one of the worse driven in a while. The question is, will we go again? Yes of course, we enjoyed our stay, but this review is to alert people who will visit it for they first time to be prepared.

Been in at least 6 times. Get early , very early, start. Great animal viewing, try and do a few nights, but day trips are good. Better chance of dogs and hyenas early, but you will see animals qll day. Will return.

All my trips to Moremi Game reserve were taken in the wet season...lots of mud...and of course lots of beautiful sights...the other time I enjoyed a pair of lions being scattered by a young elephant bull....amazing...Moremi is beautiful...

We stayed at Kwai Guest House and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Our guide was patient with our small kids and we were able to see a wide variety of game.
