A most comfortable stay in a well appointed self-catering unit. Breakfast is included, and Sarah, Margaret and Rocky were exceptionally hospitable. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing four days in the Maun Studios. The place is very conveniently located. It feels like heaven on earth with it’s beautiful garden next to the river. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Margaret and Rocky are exceptional hosts - they made us feel very welcomed. Whatever problem we have, they were very quick to find solutions. I would definitely recommend this amazing place to anyone looking for a stay in Maun.

Amazing place to stay in Maun. The rooms were very spacious and luxurious, the garden is so peaceful and breakfast was delicious. The owners went out of their way to help in every way. I wish we could have stayed a little longer and relaxed. Perfect place to start or end your trip around Maun.

Our stay at Sarah's Maun Studio's was beyond expectation! After a trip of 3 weeks, seeing more animals than human beings, we arrived at this stunning place! The garden is like a fairy tale, the rooms was like home and Sarah and her team did way more than they had to! Such a pity we had to leave!

Had an incredible stay at the Maun Studios enroute to our Okavango Delta safari. The property is spectacular and with beautiful gardens and a very nice lounge/dining area with deck, reading room, and dining set up for dinner and breakfast. Guest house accommodations were exactly what we were looking for- very comfortable, clean, quiet. Sarah and her family’s hospitality made us feel right at home, picking us up and delivering us to the airport and cooking incredible meals. Would highly recommend staying here if you have any extra time in Maun.

Absolutely AMAZING place to stay. The rooms and beds are comfortable (and spacious!), most rooms have air conditioning (a must imo), the grounds are impeccable - but most importantly, Sarah, Margaret, and Rocky - the family owners - are AMAZING. Sarah really went above and beyond to help me solve unexpected problems, and she's such a pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend this place enough. Stop looking. Stay here!

We felt at home at the Maun Studios. Rocky, Margaret and Sarah are excellent hosts. They recommended restaurants and made it easy for us to be picked up or dropped off somewhere. We were in the tent in October, so it was pretty warm, especially late morning before the verandah was in shade. It was great to dip in the pool to cool off. The Meru tent suited us well as it is in a corner overlooking the Thamalakane River. If you like the photos of the rooms on their website and would prefer a sort of bed & breakfast to a hotel you will like staying here.

A wonderful small location with a lovely, peaceful studio. Beautiful Garden, the owners superb kind and helpful with whatever you need. The studio has all items one may need (hairdryer, dishes, blankets etc.), you get a very tasty breakfast with relaxing view, fresh milk, coffee, water and minibar are filled up every day. You can go for a walk starting right behind the garden, Sara (Owners’ daughter) has always provided us with lots of informations about activities, places to eat, shop for souvenirs…they were all really great hosts. You walk in there and you feel welcome and somehow like being at home, it was one of my two favourites places to stay at my Afrika Trip. The only one think I didn’t like that much was that I was staying only for 3 nights in this little paradise. Thank you Sarah for making those 3 days something special:-) If I would be back to Maun (or another place nearby) I would definitely stay there again and I can recommend this place to everyone.

This place is amazing, if google had 6 stars I would have given them no problem. It’s clean, spacious and most importantly it’s ran by nicest people. Breakfast is great. Nothing negative about this place. 100% recommended.

I can't recommend Maun Studios more highly. By any standards, a five-star experience. Gorgeous property. Tidy, clean, beautifully appointed studios. comfy beds, crisp linens, powerful, hot showers. Fully-equipped kitchen with goodies in the fridge. Breakfasts were extraordinary. Rocky, Margaret and their Daughter Sarah who manages the properties could not have been more responsive and helpful with absolutely anything you may need. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Simply an amazing stay! The studio room is big, clean and very well furnished in a typical "colonial style". The breakfast was really great and the staff extremely kind and helpful. The location itself is very green, next to the river so you can breathe the nature at every hour. Really a super experience!

Sarah picked us up from the airport and rocky brought us to the okavango brewery in the evening It was our last night in botswana and was a joy. The meru Tent is a bit apart from the buildings. the garden is really beautiful and well maintained. the two dogs of Margaret and Rocky are very friendly :)
