This garden is very lovely... It's a place where one of the Tarzan movies was acted... I love the tree canopy area which is always very cool and devoid of much sun... The botanical gardens boasts many many tree species I've never seen before... Some very lovely and some so scary like some conjured trees from a horror movie...😂 The fountain is lovely and comes on and off intermittently.... On a sunny day 🌄 you could even see a rainbow 🌈 flashing from the fountain water which is delightful... Many people come here to have picnics, take pictures, video etc... It has seats incase you get tired of walking or you intend to spend a long time having a heart to heart talk... There are food courts so hunger got nothing on you... Although I didn't use the toilets, I noticed they had some towards the food court area... Souvenir shops also exist so you can buy a few stuffs... There's also a mini zoo which surprisingly has lots of animals and birds (lions, deers, leopards, lamas, foxes, eagles, parrots and many more)... For our Muslim brethrens, there are praying areas too so you don't have to worry about spending so much time here without being able to take your prayers.... It's also safe despite how big it is so feel free to visit with your entire family and let them run wild and free with no consequences, even the lions are friendly 😂... The place is very clean too and workers and security personnel here are very friendly and will answer questions politely or guide you as appropriate... A wide range of people from various walks of life gather here so you can easily network here.

Open 7/7 between 09:00 am to 4:00 pm. The ticket price is 150DZ / 1$ It is side by side with the zoo, the Algerian National Library and separated by the road from the Museum of Fine Arts /Musée des Beaux Arts and the Martyr's Maqam /Mémorial du Martyr, you can reach it by the Subway, bus or Taxi. The garden was limited only to researchers and geographers, geologists and history. But years ago it was opened to everyone as a tourist place. Contains many rare trees. It was built in the nineteenth or twentieth century during the French presence .It is a French-style garden.

Beautiful place to visit even in summer since the trees offer a lot of shade and you’ll find a sea breeze coming in from the coast. Very well maintained and security are strict about people not walking on the grass, picnicking etc which is excellent. Take a stroll around the park and then afterwards you can take the cable car up to the monument des martyrs and the museum. There’s also a metro station just outside to take you elsewhere in Algiers.

Wonderful place of Tarzan home and his tree. If you are looking for hideaway from the heat, this place is great.

A very nice place to walk around and spend time with the kids Trees and plants from different places around the world. Zoo, restaurants, rest places. It lacks some attention to this treasure of trees, very few toilets compared to the number of visitors. The entry price is 150 DZD (1 euro). There is a chapel for women / men. There is a guarded car park outside the park. A park worth visiting.
