This was a cute little museum in Boulder Colorado. It’s not very big so it doesn’t take long to walk through and it’s very affordable. There are tons of activities for kids if you have them.

Probably a less common review, but I had my wedding ceremony at the Museum of Boulder and it was AMAZING! Kayla, the events coordinator, was kind, accommodating, and communicative with me and my planner. She had everything set up exactly how we discussed, and even worked with one of my bridesmaids to make a rain plan if needed (which luckily we didn't). The view was spectacular (very few rooftops in the City that are willing to host a wedding - trust me, I tried them all) and it was a very reasonable cost to hold the ceremony there. Highly recommend!

The Museum of Boulder is a hidden gem in Boulder! Not only is this a community gathering place with many events and rotating exhibits, but also a great way to learn more about the history of Boulder in the main gallery. It may also have the best view of the Flatirons in town from the rooftop. A great place to bring out of town guests and the kids for a new adventure.

The Museum of Boulder is a great small museum for learning about the history and the culture of Boulder. I'd say the main room is upstairs, with one wall dedicated to history, the opposite wall dedicated to outdoor sports, and the far end to technology. A cool theater presents the language and history of the Arapaho, the indigenous people of the area, and touch tables in the middle of the room address issues that Boulder faces today, like diversity, homelessness, business, and more. You can watch videos, see pictures, and even write a response! On the roof is a terrace with nice views, on the main floor is a very respectable artsy gift shop and the current "Voces Vives" gallery, telling the story of the history of the latinx community in Colorado. Don't miss sitting in the "living room" to hear the story of one family's experience. Downstairs is a kid's imagination area with several stations for play and creativity. There is some free 2-hour street parking along Pine Street. Otherwise, it's just what you can find in the area. I arrived at 9am on a Saturday and had the whole place to myself.

Super interesting place! Their permanent exhibits have a very detailed history of Boulder and a wonderful kids play area with enriching activities. Their rotating exhibits are always super interesting, and very popular! I highly recommend checking this out if you’ve got an hour or so to kill.

Interesting little stop. Friendly staff and a good spot for kids. Not a whole lot of content, but it's well managed with free parking out back (and street parking nearby). Rotating exhibits, plus a permanent Boulder history area upstairs. Local art for sale in one of the rooms

I had never been here and it was fantastic. The exhibits are outstanding and the rooftop is great for special events.

Visiting from out of town we enjoyed the Museum's displays of Boulder's history and residents impact on developing business. The Dinosaur exhibit is in the lower level and Wolf exhibit is on the main level... All well done... Thank You

We were at a private event and it was a good venue. The rooftop terrace was very nice. I remember when this was the Masonic Temple, so fun to see it now.

Cool exhibits and the kids had a blast playing in the playzeum and google garage! Good spot if you need to occupy some time with the kids while your significant other does some shopping.

A very good museum to visit if you're new to Boulder as a resident or just visiting. The permanent exhibit outlines all the key components of Boulder history from the American Indian influence to the artistic, scientific, and outdoor related activities. The temporary exhibit of the Hispanic influence is excellent, and portions of which should be incorporated in the permanent exhibit. A number of areas will interest the kids, so bring them along! More recently, a great new exhibit that outlines the contributions of multiple black Coloradans. Definitely a must see!

Informative regarding the beer brewing tradition of Boulder. Free parking was available on the street or the small parking lot behind the museum, too. One hour was sufficient to tour the museum.

Wonderful place to catch up on some Boulder city and county history. They always have interesting little exhibits and the staff is friendly. Be sure to check out their special events and any of the rooftop activities they may have as they are always enjoyable. A nice and quick place to visit.

Fun way to spend some time with kids. Pretty cool museum with a section on Boulders history and another section on breweries in the area. There's also a play area on the bottom floor. My kids loved it and it was fun.

Most of the five stars are for the Playzeum in the basement. It's so great for kids! We spent hours there. I have an 11-month who enjoyed it just as much as the older kids who were there.

I went with my 2 y.o. and spent 1.5 hours exploring the Playzeum. We both loved building structures with giant foam blocks, making music with sound tiles, and exploring all the different activities. Highly recommended
