It was a little busy when I first checked in and it turns out that I wasn't initially checked in to the system. I ended up waiting about 25 minutes past my appointment time. When I followed up at the front desk, they were very apologetic and made it right with me. I absolutely commend them on their guest recovery! (Thank you!!!!) Abby W. took care of my balayage and haircut and I loved my time with her. She did a great job explaining every single step and educating me about the products and process. Her shoulder and scalp massages were so relaxing, too! I also love how she wrapped the towel around my head--nice touch & no drips when walking back to her station. Overall, the managers and educators must be doing a great job, as it trickles down to the team. She did a wonderful job and it was so great getting to know her, truly inspiring. You go, girl!

Kelly was amazing! As soon as I got there she asked thorough questions about what kind of dye I was hoping for and any concerns that I had. She was even willing to stay after everyone had left to make sure my toner came out right and the job was done well! 5 stars, I would recommend Kelly and Aveda.

Love love the work Brooke Kennedy did! I went in for a full foil and Brooke did an amazing job! She is very personable, professional and kind! She was so gentle and made sure I was very well taken care of! I would recommend everyone to see Brooke! She did an amazing job! I definitely will be back!

I have had nothing but a great experience here Olivia has done my daughters hair twice now and both Times she has been so patient with her and so interactive making the experience so easy. She listened to what we wanted and it turned out amazing both times the first time dying it and the second time cutting it… I highly recommend going for services

I went to Aveda Institute Denver, today for a hair appointment with Riah. She is so nice, thoughtful, and did an amazing job. I love my highlights so much, she pasted my expectations (my hair is a handful, but she conquered it). Recommend

I’ve been getting my hair done here for years now, and I absolutely love it. The instructors are excellent (Tyson is the best!) and they do such a nice job with the students. I had the pleasure of working with Zada over the last few months, and she did a fabulous job: she really listened to what I was asking for and took such great care of me. Any salon who hires her is getting a fantastic stylist! The front desk staff is also great: they’re super organized and helpful. The only thing that makes getting services here tough is the lack of parking, but there’s not much they can do about that! I’d highly recommend getting services here!

Ellie Jenkins did an awesome job on my cut and color. My greys are covered and my hair is so shiny! She gave the best scalp massage during my shampoo. When I wasn’t sure about my bangs, she took time to listen to what I wanted different and fixed them perfectly. A great experience! Edited 11/30/23 - I had a second appointment with Ellie yesterday. She added beautiful caramel brown balayage to the dark all over door she had done previously. I was nervous about it being too brassy looking, but it turned out beautifully! Ellie asked questions all throughout the process to be sure I was getting what I wanted. And my hair looks healthy and shiny. I will be back again!

Lola Maes at Aveda was very accommodating to my needs and she paid extra attention to detail. The shampoo and scalp massage were very relaxing as well. She grabbed me water, made sure I comfortable, and did my hair style exactly how I asked! 10/10

Rainie was my stylist and she did a fantastic job! She was so kind and really cared about getting my hair back to a healthy state ! I absolutely love the hair cut she gave me and she educated me on some really good products I can use to combat the dry air in Denver. It has changed my whole hair game! So thankful for everything!

Marjorie (Musgrove) crushed it! She was gentle, didn’t pull my tangles, was personable and fun to talk to, sympathetic to what I’d been going through, gushed over my hair, gave me maybe the BEST haircut of my life and was ALMOST more excited about it then I was! Marjorie, thanks so much! I feel brand new and ready to conquer my next steps! It means so much more than just a haircut!

I took my daughter to get highlights in her hair. Tanisha did an awesome job; from beginning to end. She worked diligently to make us comfortable and make sure my daughter was happy with what she wanted done. Tanisha’s bedside manner is so kind. We will definitely be returning for more services. Maddie followed up with an awesome blow dry that was very well done and made the highlights stand out. A huge thank you to Tanisha and Maddie for awesome service and customer care.

Biz did an amazing job with my color. She was very thorough and took the time to help me with tones that were best for my skin. I have fine hair and she gave me a great face framing haircut. Biz is awesome! Highly recommend.

I booked a haircut & scalp treatment with Ellie Jenkins and she did a stellar job! She took the time to ask questions and personalize my experience at Aveda. She did a heavenly scalp massage, and the haircut turned out exactly the way I wanted!! Ellie clearly cares about her clients’ experience and pays great attention to detail. She looked at my reference photos and asked me questions along the way to make sure I liked the length, layers, etc. Ellie is extremely skilled for how early on in her career she is. I totally trust her with my hair. At the end of my appointment, Ellie recommended some products that were exactly what I was looking for, and they were completely customized for my hair type and styling routine. If you need your hair done, Ellie is your girl! Can’t wait to come back!

Skylar was amazing. I never know exactly what I want.. but I'm good at knowing what I don't want. Something easy, low maintenance, grey coverage, lighter, bouncier. And I literally said I go to the salon twice a year max, so whatever we do needs to grow put naturally. She listened to everything I said, and I trusted her opinion and talent. And I love my new haircut and color! This place is so great, because there is a teacher that signs off on everything. And if you are unhappy with anything, they will do whatever it takes to make it right. ♡ So don't hesitate to book anything!

Had a cut and color with PJ! It was an awesome experience. He and the instructors were very receptive to what I wanted, and double and triple checked with me before doing anything. My hair stayed soft and shiny after being bleached, and the cut came with a wash and style (love that). I was also recommended the products they used throughout my visit, which will be really helpful since I had a pretty big change in style. Very happy with my visit! (Not to mention very affordable. I paid less that $100 for a color, wash, cut, and style).

I went to the Aveda Institute on Halloween to have my haircut with Kate, and it was one of my favorite haircut experiences ever. She listened to exactly what I had to stay and continued to ask how I felt throughout the haircut which made me feel so comfortable! She cut and styled my hair and helped me pick products that would work perfectly for my hair type. I can’t recommend Kate enough! Not the mention the great prices for such a professional experience! I will definitely be going back and telling all my friends to do the same.

Got my hair colored, cut, and styled by Ellie today- it was such a great experience! I don’t always trust people to cut my wavy/curly hair, but I fully trust Ellie. She asked me questions during each step of the process to make sure everything was done to my liking and gave me suggestions to make my curls look as good as possible! I recommend Ellie to anyone looking for an amazing hair experience!!

I was a model today for Ayla Schulz’s and my hair cut came out fantastic. I really appreciated how she let me pick exactly how I wanted it. She made the experience very enjoyable and did an amazing job checking me in, making me feel welcome and comfortable. The whole staff there were very nice. I was able to get product for my hair that I liked after the hair cut at a discount after my free hair cut. If you are looking for a great hair cut and a chance to give a trainee some experience this is the place to come.

I had Ellie J do a balayage on me and it came out just how I wanted it! I have never colored my hair before, and she did a great job making sure the color was blended with my natural hair. I also wanted a lot of dimension and she made sure to keep that in mind. She spent lots of time looking at swatches with me and made sure to tone with the right color to achieve the end result I had in mind. She was very meticulous and came up with an immediate solution when I thought the color was too light. I am super happy with the end result and 100% trust Ellie with my hair.

Heavenly was incredible! She was so personable and very knowledgeable. We will be back before she graduates and we may even follow her up north when she’s out of school. Thank you, Heavenly! My daughter feels so special and pretty with her cut and style.
