You ever waltz into a place because you're insanely hungry at an unreasonable time and might be afraid it won't be that good but then it turns out to be absolutely incredible? This is that place. Everything about Pita Fresh was amazing. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful in helping me decide what to get, the restaurant was super clean, the prices were reasonable, and the food was the absolute bomb. Seriously, this is some of the best chicken shawarma I've ever had! This is a hidden gem that's open 'til late, I might stop by here again next time I'm in Denver.

Cannot stress how delicious this food was. Just absolutely amazing, lick your fingers great. Definitely recommend the fries, gyros, and the BACKLAVA is the best I've ever had.

In Denver for work for about a month. Pita Fresh was in close proximity to the hotel. I struck gold! Amazing food and great service. It has been one of my go-to places! Highly recommend, yall won't be disappointed 👌

This restaurant has the best halal I've ever tasted! The pita, chicken and beef shawarma plates, falafel and baklava were better than any I've had in other cities. Their mango & strawberry smoothie is also really tasty. I will definitely be back and also plan to visit the University location. The service was fast and Jay and Asim were so nice and helpful! The restaurant was also clean and neat.

Good food but slow service. For the portion, the food is a bit pricey.

I don’t know what happened with Pita Fresh!! They use to be my favorite ones when talking about Middle Eastern Food but not anymore. Food quality has decreased and the customer service is terrible.. How come you have only 2 people taking care of your whole menu and at the same time, cooking, prepping, making pizzas and being cashiers??? Also packing orders to go and attending the telephone??? Your business is not good because there are not enough people for all this. Waiting 45 minutes for only a sandwich!! Really??? So dissapointed!!

So happy to have found this unique eatery in Denver. Not "your standard fast-food fare," this is GOOD FOOD! The menu options were great, and the service was excellent. The quality was unmatched by any middle-eastern food I have eaten in the US. The generous serving was perhaps over the top (just a comment for others to consider when ordering -- not at all a complaint). While I am not sure when I will have the opportunity to return to Denver, I will undoubtedly be looking forward to that day and eating here again. And I have to add; the baklava is to die for!

I ordered 3 falafel sandwich and a chicken sandwich (in the description it says served in pita with veggies and thini), they sent just the falafel balls. I called the store, they told me I pressed the wrong thing on Uber (my receipt says I pressed the right thing), and to place the older again on Uber and they will get it right this time. Also, as someone that grow up in the middle east their food is bland garbage, if you going to waste your money on bland garage food, go to McDonald's. At least they'll get you garbage order right, and if they don't they won't try charging you again to fix it.

I not only work, but live downtown, and Pita Fresh is my most frequented food spot, with Choice Market coming in close second. The food is great, service is great, quick food preparation. They cater to my dietary requirements and they even have a dedicated vegan menu. They are located next to a bus station, and if you sit in the right place, you can look out the window at all of the happenings on the street and it can be quite entertaining. No booze, but they have a nice selection of non-alc beverages including Red Bull, Peach Tea, both Coke and Pepsi, and just like a whole fridge of different bevs. The fries literally blow my mind. I'm eating them right now. I'm addicted to them. I'm trying to gain weight and I've been eating these delicious fries multiple times a week, but I haven't actually put on any weight from it. Which I know for most people, who don't want to gain weight, they'd love this part of it lol. There's a reason that so many of these popular trending diets base their foods on middle-eastern recipes. This is not a Greek Restaurant. It's middle-eastern cuisine. Amazing falafel, dolmades, BEST FRIES EVER, baklava, kataifi, babaganoush. The hummus for me was a little shy. I fixed it up at home with lemon juice and salt and garlic. Pita Fresh, you should try my hummus recipe lol. Tzatz was good, salads are good- fatoush salad very good, tabhouleh salad was a little dry but it was probably just too fresh. You know that needs to sit for a while. I get the strawberry mango smoothie usually. They have my fav pita but it's not the standard with everything. If you want flat pita instead of pocketed, ask for Greek pita. And the best part?????? They're OPEN. Downtown Denver shuts down for food at about 10pm, earlier on weekdays. But Pita Fresh is sitting there slangin delicious food until past midnight. It's hands- down the best option for downtown late night. Dine-in, take-out, I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. Being on the 16th Street Mall and Colfax, they have to deal with A LOT from people, yet every person who's served me at this establishment has been kind and attentive. I will say this to Pita Fresh: the tables ARE a little sticky. But I know it's not because they aren't clean. They're always clean. They just need to be refinished! So, in conclusion, Pita Fresh is it, Pita Fresh is lit. 🔥🔥🔥

This’s my 2nd time trying their food. The 1st time I had chicken shawarma the 2nd time I had falafel plate. Let’s be clear if you’re looking for arabic authentic food this’s NOT the place, the falafel was so disappointed, it was clear it’s made from falafel powder (see the picture). The chicken shawarma was not bad. The only thing that i recommend is the hummus and the pita bread, these are the only things seem authentic. Also the place doesn’t have AC and the smoke from the kitchen is all over the place.

Great place for Falafel! Friendly service and good price point for the quantity of food they give. Was slightly underwhelmed by the beef shawarma, but very happy with the other things we tried. The salad and pita, rice, and Sauces were all wonderful.

Nice people at the register and the food was pretty good. See my photos for the chicken combo plate. Everything was on time. Atmosphere inside was dead and no one eating there at 5pm on a weekday. Tables were dirty so I don’t feel comfortable staying to eat inside. I took it to go. Also, fyi, no public restrooms available to wash your hands.

Delicious. Absolutely floored that the gyro had buffalo on it. Grape leaves are awesome, a little too wet for me but delicious nonetheless. Still thinking about the gyro wrap. $18 and some change for these two

I put 3 stars because I love their lentil soup and have had many a great experience from them. However, who tf puts Buffalo sauce on a gyro sandwich?! Grotesque. I used my boyfriend’s tzatziki to try to make it better. 0 desire to eat it. At least put an option on online ordering menus for tzatziki or no sauce instead and make the buffalo sauce an option don’t just put it on there.

Me and my friends ordered 4 chicken shawarma, that was the worst shawarmas we ever had. The chicken was so hard to eat and the taste was horrible. Everyone left half part of the shawarma.

Easily one of the best foods I’ve ever had. We shared a chicken shawarma lunch box with an extra pita bread and it was enough food for two people. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. If you haven’t tried middle eastern food definitely try this! I tried it for the first time yesterday and I’m back again today.

Y'all, I had falafel patties, hummus, and the chicken shawarma door dashed to me at like 1 am after a late flight. It was so freaking good! It was probably one of my favorite places in the Denver area. The quality and quantity were so worth it! I shared 1 meal with my boyfriend and we still had leftovers. Definitely recommend 👌

I’ve ordered from this place three times and the first two were amazing! I ordered the Greek salad each time and they were amazing except for the last time. The last time I ordered it was not a traditional Greek salad with the majority being lettuce and not worth the price. I was tad disappointed. Fourth times a charm I will be ordering again

We used to come here fairly regularly and stopped for a while because the quality was so inconsistent-- but we swung by tonight and WOW!!! Two guys we'd never seen before were working, and the quality has improved tenfold. One of the best gyros I've ever had, and certainly the best I've had here by far. We specially requested the fries extra crispy because we've had an issue with them being soggy in the past, and they were absolute perfection. Our compliments to the chefs!!!!!

My new favorite Mediterranean food place. The people here are friendly and treat you well. The food is good too. Come and try the chicken sharwarma and Greek salad

The light Curry on the chicken shawarma, was fantastic. Just right 🔥 spice flavor not mouth burn, ya know? And the fries were really good. Arizona 🤍 If I were you I'd eat here, I will eat here again!
