Not a coop. Employees don't have shares of the company. Their staff isn't unionized. ...why are they taking all this popular Red pastiche if their workers don't have ownership stake or at least collective bargaining power? The beer was fine, but this brand makes no sense. The owners should give major ownership stakes to their employees if they really want to be modern. Or at least help them unionize.

Comrades will always have a special place in our hearts 💕 It isn't often we have the same beer twice, but the Jalapeno Blonde Ale always hits the spot. If you like hefeweizen and wheat style beers you won't be disappointed with the Amber Waves, I was very impressed!! Staff is friendly and takes time to know your preferences to provide menu suggestions. Merch: Tin tackers (very reasonably priced at $18), shirts, hats, beanies, assorted glassware, growlers, stickers.

This is hard to make sufficiently strongly worded. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel much of the world, and this is one of (if not THE) best brewery I’ve ever seen for IPAs. Their beers typically consist of a mix of IPA (Single, Session, Brut, DDH and occasionally a Wet-Hopped) as well as a healthy amount of Gose options and a blonde, red, and coffee milk stout for people that don’t like the bitterness of an IPA. The theme is a play off the Soviet sickle and hammer, hence the name, and it’s pretty cool how they’ve artistically played into that with a hop based sickle and a wheat based hammer in their logo. They regularly have a food truck outside during lunch and evening hours, rotating schedule is on their website, if Goldie’s Burgers is there, get a “Golden Standard” (a burger with potato chips and House sauce on it....sweet god). If they have a beer called “Superdamp” while your there, get it. It’s weird and awesome haha. If they don’t, and you like IPAs, start with the classic flagship beer: “Superpower”. Prices are a steal for the quality, and frankly, low in general for the proximity to Denver. Colorado is one of the beer pilgrimage spots of the world, and for people that like IPAs this is my number one recommendation for people that come to visit me. My only regret is that with so many breweries to try in Denver and The Springs, it took me years to find this place... don’t make the same mistake. Go.... now :)

Absolutely love Comrade, the beer is awesome but Corrie and the rest of the staff keep me and my friends coming back--as someone who still feels new to the area despite being here for a year now, it's people who treat you right and genuinely care that makes moving to a brand new place bearable, and in this case great! Happy that Comrade is part of my routine and I highly recommend it to anyone I meet!

Corrie and Andrea are fantastic beer-tenders. Great recommendations. Came to the brewery for the first time on Thursday and they were great!

I love the superpower IPA (how could you not) and the yellow fever. Refreshing change from all the breweries that focus on hazy beers. I’ve never had a bad beer here. Staff are always friendly, great atmosphere, and it’s right off the bike trail!

8/5/23-The beer experience here is really hit or miss. In the past I have had some of the worst beers I have ever tried here, but today the Grapefruit Superpower was about average. If they would have smoothed out the sourness it would be a good summer beer. They also don't have food truckers any more due to a stupid issue with their landlord. Their landlord is really stupid blocking them from a very basic feature that other breweries have. They try to have a few snacks for the guests, but the landlord needs an intelligence check or needs to sell out since they are just hurting the businesses that are renting the space.

First, good grief, a review here mentions 'not sure about the Communist thing' - ?? How old are you, 90? It's a play on USSR sure and I think it's clever and fun. And it also per the staff is about COMRADERY, comrade!! Get a sense of humor or maybe, just drink more beer and chill out. OK well I hadn't been to Comrade (damn Ruski's!!) in a couple years and it was such great beer (SuperPower IPA) and friendly and fun place, I loved it. We had a small company event there, brought in pizza etc and it was a big hit with everyone. It's in a kind of strip mall so there is parking, a few tables out front too, no dogs inside but I assume they're ok on the patio. You can catch any business on a bad day and/or just get a not so great server - these days that's not unusual, good staff have become a real challenge to find and keep. Cut a little slack eh? Go and enjoy.

Wonderful beers, never had one I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Very crisp beers, not to heavy a mouthfeel even in the stouts. Daily food trucks, but if you aren't in the mood for what is there that day, Comrade is in a prime location close to so many unique restaurants within less than a 10 minute drive. Katsu Ramen, Angry Chicken etc. I also really like the collabs they do with other breweries as well. Very spacious interior with two full bars and lots of seating. Good lighting, not too dark. Overall an awesome brewery.

Good spot, no longer has food trucks nor does it allow dogs. Small outdoor space. Ok ambience. Beers were good and they have Casey on draft! Recommend getting tacos to go from la gaviota and bringing them here if you want food.

Great place for a beer. Stop at Pat's for a sandwich and enjoy a cold one at Comrade's. Plenty of room to sit and watch a game. Excellent selection of brews. Another go to place.

Drank plenty of IPAs in my day, but I have to say, theirs are really worth the hype. Excellent beer and very friendly staff! Will definitely return!

Some of the best beer I've had in Denver, had three of their beers and I am surprised on how well balanced they all are. DEFCON is fabulous, the Red Oktober was great and the Brut Reynolds was also fantastic. Make sure you come by, this place will not disappoint you.

Absolutely love this place!! Their new beers, Spring Fling and Lost Shaker are awesome! Kai and Corrie are AMAZING!! Bring food because food trucks are not allowed on the property.

One of my favorite breweries around Denver. No frills and low key but always good brews and good times. The speakeasy beer and redcon beers are solid.

We moved to the area six months ago and I wish we knew about this place sooner! The staff is very friendly and eager to help you out. They are very knowledgeable about their beers and let us sample a few before we decided on a glass. They also take the time to check on you once you've sat down, which I thought was really nice. The brewery has board and card games for entertainment and a food truck outside if you get hungry. Another plus is that they allow dogs. We will definitely be back to try trivia that they host on Wednesday's! Original Yelp review 12/31/2017

Beer was decent, but service was terrible. I asked the beer tender what his favorite IPA was and he couldn’t recommend one for me…I think to advocate your brewery you should be able to recommend one and not just say “we’re known for IPAs” duh, I know that, that’s why we came here. After that service was really spotty and toward the rude side.

Good beers, but just not sure about the Communist thing. I get that the logo is reverse from the traditional "Hammer & Sickle", but... 🤷🏼‍♂️ That said, you should check them out. Good, award winning beers!

It was great! My family stopped by with our kids to meet friends. The drinks were great, and our littles enjoyed some popcorn. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
