**EDIT
1/8/2024**
EMS
mentions
in
their
response
that
there
is
an
“old
card
and
new
card.”
I
have
NOT
changed
insurance
companies
nor
have
I
been
issued
a
new
card.
I’ve
had
the
same
one
for
years
with
the
same
coverage
and
the
card
that
I
have
today
displays
the
same
information
it
did
when
I
visited
this
office
($0
copay
for
annual
checkups
and
new
patient).
They
are
either
lying
or
misinformed
which
gives
me
pause
because
they
should
know
this
information.
They
really
enjoy
passing
the
buck
onto
insurance
issues.
They
should
inform
their
patients
that
the
drug
test
they
give
for
“some
medications”
is
going
to
be
at
the
cost
of
the
patient
as
well
as
approve/deny
the
diagnostic
facility
dependent
if
it
is
network.
This
issue
falls
under
the
No
Surprises
Act.
Additionally,
while
it
is
within
their
discretion
to
test,
it
is
unorthodox
given
they
can
see
in
their
records
if
the
patient
is
doctor
shopping.
I’ve
spoken
to
two
professionals
in
the
practice
and
they
are
a
bit
perplexed
why
I
was
tested.
Lastly,
they
should
be
focusing
on
making
their
clinic
run
smoothly
and
bettering
themselves
from
criticism
instead
of
rebutting
every
negative
comment
with
misinformation,
lies,
or
excuses.

This
place
is
sketchy
and
managed
poorly.
Firstly,
they
do
not
know
how
to
bill
bcbs
ppo.
I’ve
been
going
back
and
forth
with
them
for
the
last
year
showing
that
the
EoB
shows
insurance
has
been
paid
out.
My
physicals/
wellness
visits
are
to
be
covered
at
100%.
and
it
says
so
on
my
insurance
card.
They
attempted
to
charge
me
$95
at
the
visit,
but
after
I
protested
and
explained
to
them
that
I
have
a
ppo
plan
that
is
in
network
with
bcbs
and
they
still
charged
me
$25
copay.
I
gave
them
$25
that
they
refused
to
reimburse.
Secondly,
during
the
visit
I
asked
to
have
my
script
refilled
and
they
said
it
was
a
“formality”
to
get
drug
tested
because
it
is
a
controlled
substance
anxiety
med
and
they
need
to
make
sure
I’m
not
drug
seeking.
I
took
the
test
because
I
felt
obligated
to
prove
that
I
would
pass,
as
well
as
get
my
script,
but
I
felt
so
embarrassed
and
low.
I’ve
never
had
any
other
doctor
do
this,
especially
because
I
infrequently
take
this
med.
Fast
forward
nearly
a
year
later,
and
I
get
a
notification
from
an
out
of
network
testing
facility
for
said
drug
test…
the
doctor
sent
the
drug
test
to
an
out
of
network
diagnostics
facility
and
now
I
owe
$441.
Lastly,
the
facility
is
not
maintained
and
dingy.
The
equipment
they
use
is
really
out-dated.
It
looks
like
a
walk-in
clinic.
