I’ve been a patient for quite sometime the dental care and staff overall have always been great but a recent experience has soured me on the practice and have quickly moved my care elsewhere. I scheduled a regular cleaning about 6 months ago today was my appointment. I received a confirmation text a week or so before and 3 texts an hour before my appointment reminding me of my appointment and they’d see me soon. Seems pretty standard great , I’ll be there. I arrived 10min before I was scheduled and was told they cancelled my appointment because I didn’t respond to the texts to confirm. Told me this was their policy and it’s an automated system that continues to send me confirmation messages even though they took it upon themselves to cancel me. I was beyond frustrated because I had taken the day off work, planned my entire day around this AND hired a babysitter. This is absolutely ridiculous, the confirmation text is 3 paragraphs long and at the very bottom it does tell you this but I get a million texts a day and respond to half of them, why should this be any different? I booked the appointment and showed up on time as agreed. I mean charge me a no show fee is pretty standard if I don’t show but cancel me based on a text???? Be nice to also mention this when scheduling like “hey we will confirm with you prior to you appointment please respond or we will have to cancel “ …. Too much to ask I guess. Either way they lost an entire family of patients today because of same idiotic policy. If your dental practice can’t make it through a few no show visits even with no show fees then you’re doomed to fail.

Administratively, the absolute worst dental office my family has ever experienced. They lack accountability, over charging for services, and continued to bill despite after paying amount in full. Three months later, we had to show proof of payment because they kept sending us the same bill. Absolute incompetence. Don't bother going there unless you like to continuously drain your wallet.

If you would like to see a dentist before next year and be treated like a real person who is worthy of respect I cannot recommend this office. Frustrating experience. I had gone to them for an initial appointment which was fine, but everything after has been an exercise in patience. The front desk staff is seemingly very ill-tempered and resentful of working with people. I understand that they are currently understaffed, however I am not the reason for that situation and do not enjoy being treated or spoken to in that way. I called to ask about a notification I kept getting about an appointment I didn't set up or agree to and she told me there is no way anyone would have changed it without talking to me, which on paper makes sense but I certainly never agreed to an 8am appointment and now I have lost the spot I had in July because they moved it up without my consent. The woman I spoke to on the phone was rather rude about the whole thing and essentially told me to take it or leave it. I am already stressed enough about the whole thing and trying to get help for my dental health without someone throwing it in my face, it was uncalled for and unprofessional.

Such a wonderful dentist along with all his assistants. Everyone was so friendly and extremely helpful. Although they were short on help when I was there, I still got the attention and help I needed. Windsor Family Dentistry will be my forever dentist. Good job guys, you're awesome 👌

Another poor experience with Windsor family dentistry. My wife will no longer go here due to poor scheduling and management confrontations and now I’m done. Manager claimed that they called and left a message, shocker they didn’t, I have logs for months. I was told, it’s policy that I confirm the appointment within 24 hours of their phantom call. I haven’t had to confirm any appointment in the 2+ years, but this appointment was apparently different. Mind you I go there every three months. The manager is always short, borderline rude and never has a friendly face. It’s been said she just seems to be angry that she’s at work and today was another case. They filled my appointment. I wasn’t happy. It’s embarrassing that you couldn’t take accountability that you screwed up as a business (not the first time you’ve had scheduling issues). When expressing my displeasure for their failure and requesting the money that they charged me for services not rendered, I was told I’d receive a check in the mail. Even more unhappy. I asked to speak with the managers manager since she did not own the business and unwilling to fix their error, I was told they are corporately owned to escape accountability. I requested her boss and my funds that have been stolen only to be told they were suspending me as a patient…after I told her I wouldn’t be returning due to poor management, which is like quitting after you were fired, but I digress. When I told the manager, “they failed”, she told me to leave or she’d call the police. The MANAGER, the one who is supposed to make the machine run effortlessly, but not at Windsor Family Dentistry. Here, you get your appointment overfilled, insist it’s your fault as the customer, then get threatened to have the police called when the customer points out poor business practices. I think I’ll send that to corporate as a suggested slogan. BBB is the next stop to review this business as I’ve NEVER encountered a business manager or business treat their customers in any such manner. Businesses earn their customers and Windsor Family Dentistry lost another today. I have a big mouth, I will share this experience every chance it’s fitting. There are 1,302 dentist in Windsor, CO and 1,111 dentist in Fort Collins, CO…who needs who more?

Hygienist and dentist were excellent. Dealing with payment/insurance was once again frustrating. I was asked to pay for the estimated procedure including deductible plus my estimated payment before anything was submitted to insurance. When I pointed this out, I was asked to pay a different amount which was now based on the UCR and not the original estimate provided. Front desk is very difficult to work with and unwelcoming. Many experiences like this have occurred. Also received an ominous sounding text, warning of cancellation fees within 48 hours of appointment. Hilarious based on how often they cancel at the last moment and do not have another opening for months. I do not recommend this office.

They were able to see me on short notice. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. The doctor and his assistants had me right as rain in no time. I appreciate them and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Hate the dentist. Love them. Jessica at the front desk is fantastic. Dr. Lindsey is thorough, fast and efficient. Heather kept me laughing. Virtually pain free, no judgement and lots of fun. Not ever going anywhere else. Thank You!
