We had an excellent experience at Jax! The wine and food were tremendous. We had just been to the Rocky Mountains and the special that night was roasted Rocky Mountain trout. It was perfect!

The best avocado toast I have ever had. This is one of my favorite happy hours around. We recently went for Easter brunch with my family. They have an amazing kids meal menu too. My children ordered 3 orders of donuts and their meals. Everything was amazing.

Very tasty meal! Went during happy hour and got to try a few different things. Big fan of everything we got. Will definitely be back at Jax!

The seafood here is outstanding! Coming from the east coast, it’s hard to find the freshness and quality of seafood a coastal town provides. Jax does not disappoint! Everything on the menu is perfection. We’ve been to other Jax Fish Houses in Colorado, but the Boulder location is the best. Beautiful exposed brick and a coziness that’s hard to beat. Great place for a date night, highly recommended!

Awesome oysters. Really plump and juicy. Full of flavor. Visiting from Atlanta where oysters are hit or miss. Real treat to come to this place. Came during happy hour which was a good discount on high quality seafood

Came for dinner last night. Those damn oysters 🥰 wow. Had a sampling of two kinds. Along with a tuna poke and paired with a Pinot noir. Outstanding! Great service cute atmosphere and fantastic food!

Such good food. Expensive, but worth it. Pretty small dining area. Nice and cleanly restrooms. Good service. Really good lobster roll. Good tasting french fries and drinks.

This is by far my favorite restaurant of all time. Whenever I come in I am always greeted with kindness and they always go above and beyond to make sure guests are happy. Their oysters are always fresh and delicious! Every time I decide to try some thing new here its always so good and never disappoints. Definitely come here if you are looking for amazing staff and delicious food.

Chargrilled oysters are great. Loved all the appetizers and don't miss the hush puppies. The seafood salad was lacking 8n a lot of seafood but tasty. Service is sporadic, but nice, it is a pandemic and labor shortage. The non dairy ice cream and fruit crisp was top notch.

Great place. Great atmosphere. They take reservations but seated us no problem without one. The raw oysters were amazing. A bit pricey but so fresh they made up for it, and a large variety of oysters to choose from. The crab legs were great. Again, a large variety to choose from. The Manhattan was perfect! Well worth the stop, plus it is on Pearl Street which is always a treat.

Very cozy dining area and bar. Tons of people showed up for happy hour and there was a bit of a vibe. The wait staff were very nice and attentive. They felt relaxed and did their jobs quite well. There was collaboration between them so the experience was better and more effective. The food overall was great. We shared the crab cake which was solid. My friend has the half wedge salad and she liked it. I had the seafood chowder which was amazing. I’d say that the lobster roll needed a lot of improvement though. It didn’t have chunks of lobster and it wasn’t seasoned properly. That was the only thing we didn’t enjoy.

Four of us had dinner here. Very good oyster selection although a bit expensive. Clam chowder is excellent. Had two styles of mussels with really good sauces that we dipped using the bread. One of the best Caesar salads with white anchovies. Service was friendly and quick. Of course very good drinks and beer selection.

Had a great experience here! Food was fantastic, service good and the atmosphere was very nice on a summer Sunday evening. Not a cheap meal but a good time!

We really had the best best date night here. The service was flawless, fast, friendly, attentive, and correct. 👌 Everything we ate was terrific! Highlights were the oysters (plump and fresh), wedge salad (ice cold and flavorful), and bread and butter (sweet and salty in the best best ways). Cocktails were excellent, I like a really specific martini and they nailed it. Lively space but not too packed in. I wanted to try every single thing on the menu. Just go, this experience was a perfect 10.

We just randomly decided to pop in for hh after a little shopping on Pearl st. And.. OMG. What a great stop! Sat at the bar, got to know Cooper and Sammie (they are amazing and soooooo awesome!) Ordered the hh oysters (yum) the mussels (sooooo damn good and not overcooked) and glacier bay (soooo good, Cooper recommended) Had their signature drink the Jax 94! Went so well with the oysters and mussels! Then we tried the lavender sazerac (great sazerac- not much of a lavender taste but maybe that’s preferable lol-it was a yummy sazerac. And the prickly pear margarita which was also delicious! Definitely drop by if you’re nearby, I think 2s are easy at the bar for walk ins but if you’re large party definitely recommend reservations! Sammie was taking a lot of calls for later reservations and even some for the next week! Staff is amazing. Service was on point. Come. Especially if Oysters are your thing.

Great oysters and oyster-adjacent seafood. Excellent service that was extremely accommodating of our weeks-old infant.

Had to come back to my husband’s old stomping grounds at CU. Came upon Jax for dinner and it did not disappoint. And they were open later than some other places. The crusty bread w/ olive oil and rock type salt & garlic was delicious and different. The seafood chowder w/out okra was divine! The kind of meal where upon first bite, you softly close your eyes and mmmmm it all through the bite. Yes, that good. Husband liked the gumbo & surf n turf, but thought mine was better. Definitely make this a stop if you like seafood.

Menu selection was great, but execution was poor. Many people at our table complained about how salty their food was, and my dish was undercooked except for the fish, which was done perfectly.
