Very good pizza, Caesar salad and fried pickles!!! We had the Mt Hawaiian and subbed pepperoni. The large pizza could serve 4 if everyone wants 2 pieces! The large salad fed 3 but could feed 4 too. Sit in bar area as it has a good vibe.

This place is fairy expensive. I think their pizzas can get up to $42 after tax. Which is kind of insane if you are a reasonable person like me. Their pizza is pretty good, maybe best in the county but that’s not saying too much because colorado pizza is awful generally speaking. The chicken wings are great here just make sure you get the fried and not smoked. T the smoked is under cooked and so there is lots of cartilage and connective tissue. That’s one thing I don’t understand why people don’t get wings have a lot of connective tissue and you gotta render that down to be tasty. I don’t want to eat rubber bands for din din. But the fried wings are properly done and good, highly recommend. Beer selection usually suits my needs too.

Non-existent service. Really wanted to like this place - pizza and a little arcade with a patio - but 90 minutes after arrival, we found out that our pizza order wasn't even in the oven yet. No eta on when. We gave up and went home. The kicker? Still paid a $5 bill for some fries, the only food that ever arrived.

Loved this place on my visit to boulder! Good beer selection, really good food, what else can you ask for from a local watering hole? Honestly, great vibe of bartenders, locals and tourists. Pizza is really really good, takes a while, so sit and have a beer (or two) while you wait. Would love to go back someday.

One of my favorite spots! I know that some of the staff members have been there for years- they must love working with one another so much. Good pizza & beer!!

Good beer selection. Staff was very friendly. Had the Caprese pizza which was good. The spicy 4-pepper blend in the grinder at the table made it better!

This is hands down the best Pizza I have ever had. Everytime I come back I am afraid that my memory is deceiving me... and it is. It is always better than my paultry memory can conceive.

So many beers to choose from that are reasonably priced. Great homemade soups for a cold night, too. Didn't get to try the pizza, but it looked and smelled good and was told it is good!

Excellent fish and chips, the calzone was perfect and the side of Cole slaw was amazing!

This has & will continue to be my go-to for years to come. No-nonsense beer bar with terrific wings and za. Maintains an impressive beer list and knowledgeable staff. Super fun to watch games here.

We visited Backcountry Pizza & Tap House last night, and it was overall pretty good. There was no wait when we came in, so we got settled pretty quickly. Our server was super friendly and swift to take our orders. While it took a while for the food to get to our table, the pizza and wings turned out great. Only the waffle fries with cheese were fairly mediocre (no crisp, a little lifeless, bland). Regardless, the pizza is highly recommended! We had a decent time.

The atmosphere was pleasant and we sat away from the bar since we had kids with us. The service was great and the service gave us just enough attention. The food was yummy and came out in a timely fashion. The booth was strange because the table wasn't big enough for the booth, but overall it was a great experience.

Hands down one of the best pizza I have had in a long time The crust was thin and perfect We ordered a large build it yourself and it was way too much for the 2 of us All around great experience!! We are only in town a few days but we will go back

I hate giving a low rating, but unfortunately BCP did not earn anything. Tried to order online for pickup, The Chownow app they use is horrendous! It didn't even have the full offering of specialty pizzas on their menu. Seriously - look into "Owner" restaurant app. Tiffin's across the street has it and we order from there 2x a month with no problem. Tried to call in an order - no one picked up. Walked in, no one at the host stand, finally asked the bartender what's up, he was nice and friendly and said to just sit anywhere. It would have taken them 5 minutes to put up a sign that said this. Sat in the dining room and watched the ONE waiter take orders for 3 tables in a row. There were about 10 tables seated. After waiting for a while, we decided that with the severe understaffing it would be at least an hour before getting food. Left and went to another pizza place. This might be a great bar, but it is almost as if they don't care if they have a restaurant or not. I would love to try this neighborhood place again, but they either need to hire a dozen people, or change their setup to counter service.

Try the fried wings, they have a great selection for whatever flavor you are in the mood for. I ask for the pizza to be extra crispy just because of preference and the beer selection is great. This is my go to place to try sours.

I haven’t been here in a few years since moving out of Boulder but wow I didn’t know how much I missed it until tasting that awesome Nediterranean pizza and Melvin beer. I love that they have a taproom with a bar feel to it but also a dining room that is more family-friendly. I can’t wait to return and bring our girls for some more yummy pizza! Thanks BC!

Great service tasty pizza, good craft beer selection. My one gripe is this building needs some serious love. Very outdated. Peeling paint, faded paint on the building. For what you're charging your customers, need to do some serious updating

Had a team party in the back area. It was fun and the team emotes the game room. With the bar, in the evening it's not a 100 percent family place, but overall good experience.

Absolutely the best slice of pizza I’ve had in Colorado, and at a great value for just how much you get. Even the crust is insane on its own, I don’t know how they do it. Staff was really nice and provided fast service. The building itself has great atmosphere and is a really nice place to be. And as a final little note, they even have good selection of music on the radio

Awesome spot. Very wide open space. Outdoor seating is available but enough space inside to sit comfortably. Waiter was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They were out of amber ale but he was knowledgeable enough to recommend us a great beer on listening to what we like and understanding beer. The mozorella sticks were great. The pizza was insane. It was so cheesy and had very little sauce. This would be so good for people with stomachs that get upset with pizza. I have some stomach upset with eating certain pizza and I have had no issue with this. I highly recommend this spot.

Had lunch there with my wife and 2 dogs on 7/30. Delightful location with ample free parking, great tap list and awesome food menu. I had one of the best Rubins in the west and shared a salad made up of fresh, local produce. Highly recommended!!!!

Great beer selection. Loved that the pizza is not just great, they have some veggie meat options and quality spices too. Bartender was super nice and friendly chatting with us.

Service was really good and their wings were phenomenal! The only reason I can't give a 5 star was during the particular Friday night I was there, the kitchen was backed up an hour plus on pizza, so my friends and I just ordered a ton of appetizers which were quite delicious. I might return on a weeknight to try the pizza!

Pizza was great! Beer selection was great! However, the building itself is quite tired. Lovely patio that just needs weeding, sweeping and general cleaning. Inside could use freshening also. Great family place but just wish it was cleaner.

I liked My wing's. Service Was okay. I remember this place always having much better taplist! Most stuff on tap I can get at local lq store for cheaper. Bring back The good craft banger beers!
