Great meal and great 10 year anniversary. We order the four course menu and a nice bottle of wine. The views are breathtaking. The food is all amazing you will leave stuffed. My only complaint on food was the lobster. You pay am extra 33 dollars for this course and you get a quarter of a lobster tail. This course for me had 0 seasoning. The lobster was a bit overcooked and the potatoes had no seasoning. Everything else was amazing. From the soup to the steaks l. The pastry chef is amazing. All of the deserts were awesome and there was plenty of them! Go for the food and stay for the views! Great meal over all.

Hard to describe how good this place is with just words. The service is top notch. The quality of the food is top notch. The views are top notch. Everything about it is top notch. Very fancy restaurant with a huge wine menu to choose from. Great for celebrating life’s milestones. Very unique experience.

The place to go in Boulder for special occasions! Great atmosphere and views of the city and mountains. Food was good and priced fairly. Why 4 stars and not 5? Alcohol was wayyyy overpriced and nothing extraordinary at all. I got a cocktail for $39 (the most expensive one, to be fair) and it wasn’t anything better than a $15 cocktail in town. A bit of a premium is expected at a nice restaurant but it’s a little overboard here I think. They did have an impressive “dessert wine tasting” with 3 very exclusive wines which was great! Overall very happy with our time here, the $500 bill (for 2 people) hurt a little bit but for a very special occasion it’s worth it!

Everything from the valet to dessert was perfect at Flagstaff. The valet is complimentary and is extremely seamless, like our car was already pulled up by the time we walked outside after paying the check. The dining staff were extremely attentive and helpful with recommendations, and everything was quick and efficient. We did cocktails and the 4 course dinner option and I couldn't have been happier with my choices. The food was all perfectly made and the portions were a good size if not on the big side for there being so many courses. And obviously the view is gorgeous overlooking Boulder. Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I had dinner here last night. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they made the evening very memorable and enjoyable. I’d like to thank SHEILA, our waitress. She was very friendly, personable, fun, knowledgeable and formal. Thank you SHEILA. Every single dish we had was beyond delicious. It’s been one of my best dining experiences ever. It was a pleasure trying these original dishes prepared by the chef. I highly recommend this place. It’s worth every dollar.

Spectacular service, delicious food (we did the 4 course menu, and I upgraded to Waygu beef). Accommodated our gluten allergy very well. Special printed menu that said Happy Birthday. Truly a great experience!

Had the absolute pleasure of dining there today. The view alone is worth a visit, but the absolutely impeccable service and delicious food certainly adds to the amazing experience of spending an evening here. Our server, Harmony, and server assistant, Tyler, were so lovely and they took wonderful photos of us and had fantastic recommendations of places for us to check out while we are in town. Can't express what an amazing time we had. Thank you all.

Absolutely wonderful! We all loved the creative drinks and delicious food. And they didn't miss a beat with my request for vegan, gluten-free and grain-free dishes! The stand-out dishes for me were the pea soup and the morrell mushroom dish. I'm still thinking about both long after the meal, but everything was great, and of course the service was wonderful too. This was by far the best vegan meal I had on this trip to Boulder.

Stunning views and Michelin level fine dining. I highly recommend this for any type of fancy date or celebration. Definitely higher prices, but rightfully so. Expect to easily spend over $300 for 2 people. They have complimentary valet parking. They will take your coat at the door if you like. Absolutely make (I think it's required?) A reservation. I believe they have the largest wine cellar in Colorado, and, if you like ice wine like I do- they have a tasting of ice wines that is to die for. Food wise the 4 course meal is where it's at, and I recommend the soft shell crab for sure. We enjoyed our anniversary here and we will definitely be back.

We were fortunate enough to visit the Flagstaff House (from Wisconsin) on our 5 year wedding anniversary. It came highly recommended to us from a good friend. IMPECCABLE service. We weren't thrilled with our first table, and they kindly moved us to a better table with more of a view. Everyone that came to our table wished us a happy anniversary and called us Mr. & Mrs. Murphy, it felt like we were royalty the entire evening. We loved the 4 course menu and the dessert came with an anniversary special plate & candle. It was so sweet. We enjoyed talking to the Sommelier on staff and choosing a bottle of Chianti Classico from a town we had just recently visited in Tuscany. It was an excellent addition to our meal! They also sent us home with two mini pumpkin breads - yum! This was such a special dinner, amazing views, and outstanding service. Highly recommend if you are visiting Boulder and celebrating an occasion! :)

Our valet greeted us immediately and we were also greeted at the door by staff, welcomed by the hostess and we went to the bar to have a cocktail. The interior is incredibly lovely with phenomenal views of the mountains. The bartender had an outstanding knowledge of wines and bourbons. We started out with our standard old fashioned (definitely the traditional drink of choice for us). Well presented and delicious it had some great touches. We ended up staying for dinner and were seated at a window with a panoramic view of downtown boulder and the mountains just in time for the sunset. I have to say the service is impeccable. We chose the chef's tasting which was five courses. The wine list was incredible and I chose a 2017 Verbena Brunello di Montalcino. This wine is about as perfect as perfect gets-and as it opens it gets even better. The presentation of our courses was incredible and perfect. We had ahi tuna, shrimp and seasonal squash and wagu beef. I literally could write an entire book on the depth of flavors, the fresh herbs, the detail in every placement, the perfect blend of textures, the fresh baked bread, the layers and layers of heaven in every bite! We ordered cappuccinos with dessert and the presentation is unlike anything I have ever experienced. You definitely have to check out the photo! I ordered the tiramisu which was incredibly unique. Also served was a variety of mini pastries that we ended up taking to go because we were so full! The staff surprised us with miniature banana breads to go as well. I can't even begin to convey how impressive this experience was. I would not hesitate to rank it among my top 5 dinner experiences of all time-(I am an internationally published travel writer).

I cannot praise Annie Davis | Event + Social Media Coordinator and Flagstaff House Restaurant enough! The venue itself is a dream with a stunning ceremony view, a floor-to-ceiling window dining area, a glass room backup location, and an open-air reception area. "A photographer's dream lighting," says our photographer. The staff was extremely respectful, attentive, and kind, resulting in a beautiful cocktail hour, lunch, and overall atmosphere. Food was amazing, as always! Annie Davis, an event coordination queen! From our initial call to rehearsal, to the day of, Annie made our wedding planning and day-of experience stress-free and enjoyable. My husband and I were truly able to be present and soak up our wedding day with our guests because of the confidence we had in Annie and her team. Her talent and kindness are unmatched. Absolutely lovely experience! My boyfriend and I are from out of state and we wanted a luxurious, gourmet experience. They accommodated our diet restrictions and our waitress was very detailed in explaining each course. Everything was a treat to experience and they have the best bread we have ever tasted. Not an exaggeration! After the meal, our waitress was kind enough to snap a few pics of us on the outside patio with the incredible city lights. It was so beautiful and romantic. We will definitely be back again. We recommend it very highly!

My husband and I had our midday wedding reception here, and everything from the food to service was amazing. We received multiple comments from the guests of how delicious the food was and how friendly and attentive the staff were. Each area of the restaurant allowed for different views and atmospheres (cocktail hour on the beautiful terrace, etc.). Thank you Annie, Sarah, and the rest of the team at Flagstaff House for making our wedding day such a memorable occasion.

Wow wow wow! Went here to celebrate a late birthday dinner and our 3 year anniversary, and we were both blown away! Everything from the decor to the food was just amazing and lived up to our expectations. We always try different Chef's tasting menus anywhere it's available and were stunned at how much care went into the dishes, not to mention STUFFED halfway through. Our waitress Hannah was just the sweetest and had perfect timing and was fun too! She made us feel very comfortable, and the whole staff made us feel like they were celebrating with us too! 10/10 drinks, and the bartender is a magician Thank you for making such a memorable night for us :)

Highly Recommend! Do yourself a favor...treat yourself and your loved one(s) to a dinner at Flagstaff House! Our group of 14 was treated like royalty with the best of everything! We had a private dining room overlooking the city. The food, ambiance, and attention to detail were unlike anything we've experienced before!

After 4 years living near Boulder, we finally went to Flagstaff House for a fancy birthday dinner. Simply, this was the best dining experience I have ever had. Every food item was delicious. At other places, we've had some other expensive dinners yet leave feeling that the food wasn't really worth it. Here, even though we spent ~$200 pp (with drinks included but it's still a lot for us), I have no regrets and even want to go back again. Aside from the amazing food, the views on the night were also remarkable. Finally, the service was top notch. There were so many people ensuring you had what you needed. That does bring my only constructive feedback: when we tried to slow down on the food, and take some breaks (4 courses is a LOT of food) we had to keep telling people we were still eating. Perhaps education on how to place silverware to indicate to servers when someone is finished, versus just pausing, would help reduce the anxiety to eat faster and not have the staff feel like they missed a chance to keep the experience moving. My wife and I had a dinner here for our honeymoon and had a magical experience! The food was heavenly and the service beyond anything we have ever experienced. We ordered the 4 course dinner and we were blown away with our selections. The view was also incredible. Our waitress hand picked wine pairings for each dish that complemented them perfectly. At the end, she brought out an extra desert in honor of the honeymoon, making it even more special. Highly recommend for special occasions.
