Great spot for tasty food, delicious drinks, and a cozy atmosphere! Ordered the Trout dish (first time having that) and loved it - everything was perfectly cooked. Excellent drink selection, including beers. They have outdoor seating in the front and even more in the back of the restaurant. Great service too!

We had River and Woods cater a large corporate event recently and everything was AMAZING. I appreciate how collaborative and organized the whole process was. Steve was so easy to work and communicate with. He was on-time, thorough with the presentation of the food, and so kind. I would definitely recommend R&W to cater your next event or party! Thank you!

Such delicious food (how did they get Brussels sprouts to taste that great?) and the coziest environment. Our server Anais was so professional and on top of things. Loved it here!

What can I not say about this restaurant. We just moved to Boulder from Chicago and I can confidently say we will be regulars here. My only anxiety was what to pick because everything looked and sounded so good! We already have our next meals picked out. It is so charming and a little oasis off of pearl street. The moment you walk in your mouth waters. And then we had the best server ever. Anthony was AMAZING. He had great recommendations and we enjoyed talking to him so much. We are coming back soon for Anthony and the food! On to the food - we had the challah bread, dates, ribs, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and a bison burger. Everything was phenomenal and my Manhattan was superb. I am currently in a food coma dreaming of my next visit. See you soon Anthony! We love this place! ๐Ÿ˜

Total hidden gem!! If you are in the area I would HIGHLY recommend making a reservation (Shout out to Nate our server). We stopped in for drinks and starters and we were not disappointed (Shout out to the chef and bartender who I didn't get to thank for the meal and drinks). If you are only on Pearl St. for the Mall definitely make it a point to head east on Pearl until you find this little blue house nestled between buildings. The atmosphere is amazing. While you may be traveling to Boulder to check off the things on your tourist list, the staff, food, and atmosphere at River & Woods will keep you coming back.

This place combines amazing food with the comfort of my own backyard. It's probably my favorite restaurant in Boulder now. The amazing staff give a chill vibe to a clean and semi-formal setting. All around, this place is just a wonderful experience- my wife and I will be back many times!

Great food and good vibes. Got the burger with their waffle hashbrowns for brunch, all delicious. Wish they would give 3 instead of 2 potatoes. Giving 3 stars instead of 4 since the server didnโ€™t warn us of the auto-tip thatโ€™s generated with the bill so we ended up double tipping at 42%.

We made reservations here for Valentines Day. They had a small menu of specials for Valentines Day that included drinks, appetizers, entrees, & a desert, but we decided to order off their normal menu. For our drinks we ordered a bottle of the Cabernet which went well with our food. To start we had the bacon wrapped dates, which were delicious, we just wish the bacon was a little more crispy. For our food we had the Salmon Caesar Salad and the St. Louis Style Ribs. The salad was very good and it came with a huge piece of salmon but it was a little dry. The ribs were cooked perfectly. However, I didnโ€™t love the sauce as it was a little mustardy. The Brussel sprouts and sweet potato that came with the dish were very good. We also got sides of broccolini and mac and cheese. The broccolini was cooked perfectly and very delicious with a nice garlic flavor. The mac and cheese had a nice crunch with a smokey flavor. Unfortunately we were too full to have any desert. River and Woods has a great atmosphere thatโ€™s worth stopping by!

Really eclectic fare, excellent cocktails, and exemplary service. The food is a little more "muted" (less way out there spicy and flavorful) than I might prefer but it is overall delicious and much of it is sourced locally.

I decided to come to this restaurant after a friend posted a photo on Facebook. What a magical find! We pulled up to a sweet looking cabin that was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Boulder. I felt like it was walking into Narnia is the hostess lead me through The adorable restaurant, kitchen, and into the outside yard dining. You can either sit in the restaurant, the outside tent (which is more open, but warm and still has so much ambience), or your own private bubble with a heater. We chose the bubble when we made the reservation, but I think all of the seating options looked appealing. Every dish that came out looked beautifully prepared and the brocollini was seriously my favorite! Even though Iโ€™m not a big desert person, it was definitely worth getting the homemade sโ€™mores! I felt like a kid again getting to cook it over the flame. We spoke with the chef and sous chef as we left (because you walk by the kitchen), and they had so much passion about their jobs. Truly an unexpected find and I canโ€™t wait to go back during the daytime and try brunch!

I went here with my kids and had a truly awesome experience in every way. My daughter is gluten-free and we were impressed with how much they could accomodate that restriction. All of the food was excellent, but in particular, the bacon-wrapped date skewers were out of this world. And we were happy to learn that their corn bread is gluten free - it was also amazing, especially with the maple butter! The short rib and pork ribs are also pictured and all as good as they look!

We went to River and Woods to celebrate my partner's birthday and the staff made the evening unforgettable for us. Sipping on champagne while basking in the warmth from their outdoor fire pit, we dined amongst the trees. Later, we roasted marshmallows for some of the most delicious s'mores we've ever had. What an absolute delight all around.

I hosted my bachelorette dinner with my 6 bridesmaids at River & Woods. We loved the food and had an amazing experience! The ambience was calming and beautiful, the staff was friendly, and our waiter was awesome (heโ€™s pictured in the middle). I went back a second time and raved about the food all the way home. Definitely recommend!

This is a long overdue review, but I was here on a work trip in June and loved this place. I had the fruit salad (forget the name), but that's not what's important. The most important reason why I'm writing this review is because of Maddie. Maddie was my waitress and she was the absolute best! She made me feel at home while I was away. Food is delicious! I also had the churros - the best I've ever had.

Our first visit was for our 5yr anniversary dinner and it was more special than we could imagine! The food was excellent, staff extremely sweet and attentive, and the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted. I was especially blown away by the level of awareness the staff had. We were never out of water or wine and they were always one step ahead. The best dining experience!!! We will absolutely be back!!

Amazing space, vibe, food & drinks. It's beautifully cozy, with excellent music & attentive service. We loved our drinks (Mai Paloma, Gin Ruby) and food (especially the crispy artichokes & brown butter trout). The staff went above & beyond to make our evening a very memorable birthday experience. Loved it all, and will definitely be back!

10 stars! Absolutely amazing dinner, a hidden gem! The trout, gnocchi, grilled asparagus & dessert were perfection. Our server Cort was fabulous as were the bar staff, super highly recommend.

Weโ€™ve been coming to R&W for years, and the food has only gotten more amazing over time. We did our rehearsal dinner here in the backyard, and it was the exact local, Colorado feel we wanted. The food is amazing - their gnocchi, steak frites, duck wings, Meati mushroom โ€œchickenโ€ and waffle fries is unreal. We also did the yurt, and we were blown away by the service (thank you, Maddie!) and the food!! Maddie even made one of us an entire vegetarian menu with options for our Yurt night. I highly recommend this local spot for dinner and events.

I had a pomegranate lemonade. Very good. I came during Breakfast/lunch. The French toast and pork belly Benedict was incredible. I was very satisfied. My server Caya took good care of me. I will definitely come back for dinner
