We went for brunch. The food overall was very impressive. Every item we ordered tasted special and all nice surprises. The crab cake Benedict was amazing. It was made of crab meat and avocado and so far best crab cake I have ever had. The fried cauliflower had a little Indian fusion feeling with the sour tamarind-ish flavor, loved it a lot!! The baked French toast however could be a bit wetter in my opinion. I love the idea of turning French toast into bread pudding feeling but the toast was a bit too dry to my taste. Overall we enjoyed the food and the servers were super nice too. However, we had some unpleasant experience with the receptionist. We made a reservation and asked for a dining table. The lady told us we had to wait for 5-10mins for that when there were literally 10 empty tables there. We didn’t want to wait so she put us on a high table, five minutes later the screw of one table leg was off and the table started waggling. Still have a five star because I don’t feel the awesome food and service should be underrated from one accident

I was in Boulder (I live in south Florida and my colleagues are from Dallas) for an event with our non profit and decided to explore Pearl Street a bit. The Kitchen came highly recommended by the staff at the Marriott Boulder so we decided to give it a try for lunch. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table to open up but it was definitely worth the wait. I had the lobster roll and my colleagues each got the burger with an extra side of truffle fries. Let me repeat-the truffle fries-outstanding! WOW! The lobster roll was generous and classic, the burger done at a PERFECT medium rare (THANK YOU FOR NAILING THAT). The presentation was wonderful, our server was the perfect balance of friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and witty. She made a couple of great suggestions from the wine list and our overall experience was fabulous. Also noted that the music was great and at a perfect noise level for us to have a conversation yet still enjoy the music in the background.

My first time in Boulder. I was craving breakfast but the table next to me ordered a lobster roll. I had to try it. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I ate the entire thing. Highly recommend it.

We came here for drinks on New Year’s Eve and it was a great experience. The drinks were delicious and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. One of the best high end cocktail bars in Boulder.

Beautiful restaurant. Ordered the steak, salmon, and grilled oysters. It was very delicious. Not inexpensive but we got our money’s worth. We waited about 25 minutes to sit at the bar as reservation was really needed and would have needed to wait 2 hrs for a table of 2. Highly recommended

One of my favorite spots to have lunch or dinner in Boulder. Really beautiful place full of light. The bartender on the ground floor is really and graceful. All of the staff were awesome. Between lunch and dinner they serve food and drinks at the bar which is nice. I had a couple of beers and a lobster roll. The lobster roll was top 3 I’ve ever had in the world. Huge chunks of lobster, the sauce was awesome, and the bread delish! I need to get another one before I leave Denver

A truly amazing dinner during my recent trip to Colorado. My girlfriend and I chose this out of a bunch of really great looking options in the Boulder area and I’m sure glad we did. Cocktails were excellent and unique, grilled oysters and burrata as appetizers divine, and the two courses we split were equally out of this world. Crab fried rice was an amped up take on the classic take out option and black spaghetti with shrimp was a terrific medley of flavors. Finished off with house made sweet corn ice cream with some wild toppings… sheesh. Claimed at the time this was a top 5 dining experience ever. Must visit!

Delicious experience. Lots of really fresh flavors and unexpected combos. I would recommend going with the intent to share with your group. The drinks were also lovely along with the service. Only negative was probably that the music was a bit too loud with all the hard surfaces around.

Excellent multi-ethnic fusion right on Pearl Street. Inventive craft cocktails, plenty of seasonal menu variation, and excellent outdoor seating. Very attentive service. Highly recommended!

I’ve been dining at The Kitchen since their opening and am still amazed and happy every time I go. The service is seamless and my two go-to dishes are Bolognese and Roast Carrots with whipped Feta. They also have a gorgeous event space upstairs where I had a holiday party and everything was served family-style which really got the conversations going!

What an amazing dining experience. My son had just graduated from Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, and I wanted to show him what fine dining is. Let me just say they did not disappoint. We had the hand cut french garlic fries with bearnaise aioli to start. Then he had the Black Spaghetti with peeky toe crab, lemon, chili, with garlic bread crumbs. I had the Crab fried rice. Thai lime-nam Jim, crushed peanuts and a crispy egg on top. Amazing and delicious. If you are in the area and appreciate fine dining. You will not be disappointed.

We went with a family group for Thanksgiving dinner. For the price per person ($100) we were expecting “amazing”. What we experienced was “unremarkable”. Very plain unexciting food - mine was warm, not hot. Definitely disappointing. The drinks may have been good but I did not have alcohol so can’t comment on that aspect. The service was excellent and the atmosphere also. We expected much better for the price and reputation of the restaurant. We won’t go here again for a holiday or group event.

Get. The. Carrots. Everything we had here was fantastic but I will definitely be coming back specifically for the carrots. We stopped by on a whim and were lucky enough to get a table outside (I’d suggest a reservation). We had the fries, burrata, carrots, skirt steak, and the tagliatelle, and a dessert involving puff pastry I can’t remember the name of. All of it was great. The most outstanding dishes in my opinion were the burrata and the carrots (of course), and those two things were so good they more than made up for any shortcomings of other dishes. Drinks were good and the Old Fashioned was on point. If I had to pick, the downsides were the fries came out without the garlic when we ordered the garlic version (but were still great plain so we didn’t mind too much), and the steak was a tad too chewy for my liking, but overall very good for that particular cut of steak. Service was average. Still giving five stars inspire if this because we really enjoyed a few of the dishes.

When the community says this a must visit, you visit. I’d be lying if I said we walked away the first day, just to come back the next day and we are grateful for that because of our bartender Steve. Steve made this experience better than we could have imagined with fun custom drinks, an in depth mouth explosion description of the menu and taking time to know our names. I’m sure this place would have been a 5 star experience without Steve, but he truly made it a 6 Star experience guaranteeing us coming back and referring you.

Lovely restaurant in the Boulder areas. They have a good selection of spirits, wines and beers. We had some nice bourbons and IPAs. The service is outstanding - ask for ARIANA if you visit. She was very attentive, knew the menu and even told us that our food was going to be a bit delayed, as quality is not easy to achieve. The manager PETER also visited with us, and enquirer about our experience The food was absolutely amazing, and there is something for everyone. I’m a big fan of Boulder, and this restaurant is just another shining star in Boulder’s sky.

Food was amazed!! We had the carrots, salmon and gnocchi. The waiter forgot to place our order and didn't return to our ta le. An hour later after serving everyone that came after us he figured it out and blamed it on a deep fryer. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Could have been a 5⭐️ Drinks were amazing too!

In my opinion, The Kitchen American Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants in Boulder, CO. After a very pleasant conversation with my waiter, he informed me of the various things and ideas the restaurants do with their menu in order to provide a very hearty, positive, fulfilling, and healthy atmosphere for the customers. By changing the menu on a regular basis, while still maintaining a level of culinary professionalism, I am very very very impressed. Definitely will be back and please continue what is being done. Thank you!

We recently had our sons rehearsal dinner at the Kitchen. They have a great room for private events. We were completely impressed with the staff. They had a fully staffed team for our event. They were kind and attentive to our guest. The food was excellent. The management was on top of every detail during the planning. I highly recommend the Kitchen for any event you are holding in Boulder. Thank you to the staff and manager who made our night special.

Really enjoyed my meal. Love the menu and the variety. Small dishes made for sharing. But portions were just right if you decide to not share. Had the crab fried rice, carrots and cheesecake. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Was not overly loud inside which made dinning even more enjoyable.

Truly amazing service, incredibly caring host, servers, managers and kitchen. The cocktails are wonderful and adventurous, paring/suggestions from servers are great. Also, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. Even when they aren't perfect, they fix it in the most spectacular way. Love this place, worth every penny.
