On a whim, we decided to check out Bartaco to see if they had any vegan meals, and sure enough they had a couple for a good price. The price of the tacos was super cheap for a restaurant in Boulder, which was surprising - thankfully there was one taco (cauliflower) that was vegan. While we were eating, a waitress came by and gave us a couple of deep fried avocado tacos - on the house! I guess they were testing out a potential menu item. They were absolutely delicious and I would love to eat that again. Overall, we enjoyed our meals very much - so delicious! And the restaurant has a unique aesthetic to it, too. I only hope that the fully vegan (nothing needs to be removed) options grow, and maybe that they add vegan cream options, like vegan sour cream and vegan cheese.

Everything on the menu is amazing. Tacos are street style, so order at least four if you’re hungry. The sides are all great, the plantains and street corn are our favorites. The pork belly taco is their best by far, order one of those regardless of your pre-conceived notions of pork belly. Seriously, they’re that good.

Overall, it was good. I highly recommend getting the rice bowl over the tacos. Tacos weren't bad but weren't amazing. Sauces are ok too. Glazed pork belly = highly recommended Lobster = not recommended.

Sent you email !! The service and atmosphere was good but the taco was ok. Taco are pretty small size and they are 2.50 to 4 dollars a piece. I ordered margaritas as well which starts with $10.00 and the one I ordered was a regular margarita without salt which was $12.50 and it was super sour. Not sure why so much lemon was squeezed into it. Me and my girlfriend both were unable to drink because of being too sour. Had 5 tacos and two drinks and billed at $50.00 Cant take your car there so just park next to pearl street and just a 2 min nice walk.

I just visited Bartaco and while the establishment had garnered quite a reputation for its diverse menu and unique offerings, I found it to be extremely underwhelming. My experience left much to be desired. Upon entering, I was initially impressed by its stylish decor and lively atmosphere. However, my excitement quickly waned as I delved into the menu, only to find that the descriptions of the dishes were completely null in void. This lack of detail made it very challenging to make informed choices and left me feeling really confused as to what we should order. None of the items in the menu had one single explanation. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and clarity in the menu left us feeling like we wanted to leave. This place has a great location and honestly has a ton of potential but it seems like they’re trying to be too hip. It’s not cute to be so vague, and everything about this place felt vague and non-committal. I will try it again and hopefully we can get descriptions of the menu, but if you’re in boulder you could skip this place and find a ton of other amazing restaurants right next door.

My family went during a happy hour walk around pearl street on a Thursday. The staff was so great - bartender, server, and manager all were just so awesome. I spilled my drink (really poor moment, I was trying to grab something from the baby) all over myself. They brought me a towel and a fresh drink! Really amazing customer service. The drinks were great, my wife had a spicy margarita and I had a mojito. Let me tell you though, the kids tray is such a bargain - for 6.50 you get a taco, quesadilla, fruit skewer, and 3 corn on the cob pieces. This is such an amazing deal. I had 3 tacos, pork (a little kick on the sauce), sesame ribeye, and fish. The fish was the best - but all were good.

They require you to share your phone number to view the menu and provide your credit card number to order. That's a hard no for me personally and lowers the rating by a star. With that said, it's a great location, setup and atmosphere. The hot sauces at the table were all good to great, the guac is awesome, and the chips are okay. The pork belly and chicken tacos were pretty incredible. And the pricing was very reasonable.

First off I would like to say that the service was excellent. I really don't like the app ordering however. It's very slow and the ui is terrible. The beef taco was good, the fish taco was bad, and the duck taco was terrible. The old fashioned was okay but not for the price.

I came here after an intense hike, and the food was a well-worth reward. We ordered their guac and salsa, mushroom tacos, cauliflower tacos, falafel tacos, street corn off the cob, spicy cucumber salad, and plantains. My favorite is the cauliflower tacos. I also love the taco shells; earthy in flavor and chewy in texture. The vibes were the best part. The decor was pretty with mildly dimmed lights, a popping bar, and rustic vibes. Although it was busy, there were plenty of seating, so the noise wasn’t deafening. I could still have great conversations with my friend while enjoying the ambience. I highly recommend it here after a rigorous workout!

We had an amazing lunch with our 2.5 month old. The manager was super attentive to us and gave us a table that accommodated our stroller. The food was incredible! The pork belly taco was my favorite but the corn ceviche and the chips and salsa were also amazing.

Solid selection of tacos, drinks, and some quality chips and guac, loved the dog friendly outdoor seating and friendly staff. Felt just slightly unorganized and a tad slow but other than that great experience

Went for early dinner yesterday. Nice space right on West Pearl. Atmosphere is nice. Staff are super friendly. It's pretty hands off (you order and pay from an app. Then people swing by and drop your food off. Minimal interaction.) That style isn't really my jam as it seems pretty impersonal. But I can see the appeal if you're alone, in a big group, or don't want to be interrupted. App is simple to use. Tacos are small bites, 3-5 per person recommended. We tried almost all tacos. Duck, fish, and chicken verde were our favorite. Not bad, not amazing. Margarita was too sweet but other cocktails are good! Overall worth giving this place a try.

10/10 for me! The atmosphere is amazing. Everyone was super nice including our waiter, Brian who was very informative and answered any questions we had. Prices were cheaper than I expected, but most importantly the food was out of this world! The plantains were *insert chef’s kiss * and the sauce paired was the shiny red bow on top. The street corn was a crowd pleaser and the tacos were sooo good! We got the pulled pork, fish and falafel. Drinks were good as well! Highly recommend the kiwi vanilla if you like sweeter drinks. Will definitely return!

Had a lovely dinner at Bartaco! We got six different kinds of tacos and tried a couple of apps. Guacamole has the perfect amount of heat and the pork belly taco was so tasty, juicy, sweet and had flavors that balanced well. We’ll be back and i would defs recommend for a late night boulder nom. The shrimp wasnt for me and the ribeye taco (i think thats what it was) was a bit too dry. Staff were very friendly!

Bartaco is my go to taco place in my home city Raleigh and it was nice to find them in Boulder. Same taste, same experience, no complaints. Loved the ambience at this one.

This place was very inviting with the upbeat atmosphere. Everything is ordered off your phone and everything came in a very timely manner. We tried four different tacos. The shrimp tacos the chicken verde, the mushroom and cauliflower. The mushroom and shrimp were the best ones. The Guacamole, the green and red salsa, highly reccomend. The mushroom taco was super spicy but super good. Vegetarian and vegan options. Warm and freshly handmade tortilla chips. Margaritas were on point amd sold the whole dinner. Highly reccomened. We will be back!

Day trip to Boulder must include lunch at Bartaco!! We were immediately welcomed and asked if we preferred to sit inside or out. Plenty of seating on a weekday early afternoon. The décor really made you feel like you were on vacation, lots of blue, white and coastal vibes. Ordering was something different as you order from their app. (I did notice one older patron who did not want to do this, and he was able to get a real menu and order from the server). Ordering from the app was a little bit of a novelty, and gave us time to really figure out what we wanted. We ordered our cocktails from the app too. The only thing about ordering from the app is that if you wanted something more, you had to order from the app again. Even though the ordering seemed a little impersonal, the wait staff came around and made sure to ask how everything was and checking in. As it was a hot day we ordered a spicy margarita and mojito. Our waited said that most, if not all of the ingredients are sourced local and made in house, and the menu changes according to the season. We started with the trio of guac, roja and verde salsas served with fresh chips. For lunch we ordered the pork belly, ahi tuna and squash blossom tacos. All in all - the food and service was amazing! Would love to come back for dinner!!
