This is one of the *best* cafes that I have ever visited. The food, coffee, and service were all outstanding. We were seated as soon as we arrived and received our food within 10 minutes of ordering. My wife and I ordered the "Shrimp and Grits" and "Cajun Breakfast", along with a "Famous Buttermilk Biscuit with Homemade Jam" and a half order of beignets. It all tasted delicious - my only regret is that I felt so full that I couldn't eat any more. The homemade jam and beignets were particularly good.

Really cool and unique atmosphere. The service was great and the food came out very quickly. We ordered quite a bit of food for breakfast and it was all so good. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a good brunch spot in Boulder.

Super wonderful! We had the Beignets and Cafe au lait, hot cocoa, trout, biscuits. And it's so tasty, service is excellent! People are friendly.

Best brunch in Boulder. Lucille's provides the excellent quality food. The beignet, potatoes and freshly squeezed juice are exceptional! Probably not optimal for vegetarians.

Awesome brunch food and service, large portions (especially the beignets). Short wait for 2 for weekend brunch but it seems like the line can get decently long. Really interesting setting in a house. Convenient street parking around the area.

I go out of my way to visit Boulder for a few reasons, and this is definitely one of them. Amazing food. The service is always wonderful. One issue I had is, this place is not very handicapped accessible. And once you're out into that position, it has you reassess businesses and how accommodating they are. Yes they were kind, but no one seemingly offered to help me with their stairs and it was a bit of a turn off. But aside from that, everything was perfect. Great conversations, amazing food and a peaceful time.

Really a wonderful experience. I was staying at the Boulderado and looking for a place to get to in the cold weather quickly. Lucille‘s was just a couple blocks away and super warm and cozy when I got there. The food was simply fantastic, well thought out start to finish. Poached eggs were done perfectly. That’s not easy. Homemade flavorful hot sauce and ketchup! The biscuit had more the consistency of coffee cake, moist and wonderful, topped with homemade blueberry jam. But best of all was the wait staff, responsive but also taking the time to welcome and converse. That’s rare. I loved it! Shout out to Shaena who waited on my table. The only recommendation I’d have, and it’s a tiny one, is to have stronger coffee. Can’t wait to bring my wife back!

Great potatoes. Best breakfast potatoes in Boulder. LA hot sausage is good- not too spicy. Beignets are covered in powdered sugar. Friendly service. No ice in the water was the only downside. Cute building. Great location. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Comfortably accommodated a party of 5 on a Friday at noon. Fresh tasting eggs. Homemade jams, ketchup, and hot sauce were good. Quaint napkins. Hollandaise was not overwhelming, a nice balance of product supplied.

Place opened at 8 am on a Saturday but there was no line and we literally picked our table. Wait staff was friendly and the place was clean. Started with black coffee a cappuccino and beignets. Coffee was very fresh and surprisingly good. The beignets were rival to Café Du Monde in New Orleans, you have to try them!! Breakfast was good except they served it with a biscuit. The biscuit was very fresh and tasty but it should have been included with the meal instead of on the side… I’ll order it this way next time. Overall, this place was great!

This food was so freaking good! I did not know this, but I heard the couple next to me order a half order of the beignets, after I'd ordered them myself and saw how HUMONGOUS they were!! I wish I had known that before ordering. 🤣 I walked there from my hotel at the St. Lucien and had to carry my leftovers. 😆 The potatoes had so much flavor and the grits complimented everything so well...I don't know... It was a perfect breakfast. I loved it. The eggs Benedict popped in your mouth gooey yolky goodness, yummy hollandaise, yummy red beans I ordered on the side...and the jam on the table tasted SO GOOD stuffed inside the beignets! 😍😋😋 Yum yum yum! I ordered a chai that came out in this huge cup and was piping hot and also paired well with the whole meal! It was so good and everything came out quickly even though they were so busy! It looks and feels like you're eating in someone's home. I loved that. 💕 Thank you for the enjoyable experience! 💕

Great atmosphere and tasty comfort food. Staff is always wonderful, and everything consistently tastes fresh. I think some of the sauces and the red beans are lacking in flavor/spice, but I can’t complain too much as I’m really glad Lucile’s continues to bring something a little unique to the Boulder food scene

This is an original location which is neat and fun. The old house style is cool and tons of New Orleans themed decorations around the perimeter. The food was so delicious everything from the beignets are tasty as well as the biscuits! I like there jams and hot sauce a lot as well. I got the eggs pontchartrain and don’t regret it even the slightest! Would definitely get that again! I really enjoy their potatoes as well. They’re so tasty and well seasoned. The service was good and my friends and I had a great in dining experience. I’d come back for sure. The hostess was also really nice and professional! The hot sauce goes well with the potatoes and eggs! I think this Boulder location was better food than the one in Denver and way less of a wait. One of the best breakfast spots in Boulder In my opinion! Thank you to everyone at Lucille’s Creole Cafe Boulder location!

Cute spot with a Southern vibe. Had the famous beignets and a Cajun breakfast with grits – not bad! The red bean with meats was flavorful, and it surprisingly worked well with poached eggs. The cheesy grits were okay, and I liked the biscuit – crunchy outside, soft and buttery inside. Love the waitress - super friendly. Didn't wait long – went in early afternoon on weekdays. Overall, it was decent, a bit blend for me, but the portion was alright. Worth to come back to try other things.

Called and ordered lunch. Got there and quickly picked up my ordered. Got he sausage porky and Cajun fries. Delicious sandwich and the fries were pretty good. Wish I had spas,Ed of they had a sauce I could order on the side for dipping but will try next time. Their menu is primarily breakfast and after I was there, I learned from a coworker that their biscuits and gravy are incredible. They also have weekly special items so I assume their social media would tell you what you can get that week.

I had Lucille‘s for the first time many many years ago. My brother and I flew into Denver to do some hiking in the Rockies and went out of our way to come back here. We wanted to fuel up before hitting the trails. It wasn’t quite as good as I remembered it years ago, but still super solid. Of course, you have to start with beignets and black coffee. I opted for the same thing I had last time… Eggs Pontchartrain. It’s a favorite and really really good.

Amazing southern food! I stumbled across this place by accident and I am so happy I did. Lucile's provides a charming atmosphere inside of a little house. It was a busy Sunday morning but I got sat and served quickly. The beignets were the perfect starter. Everything was delicious and the next time I'm in CO I will go out of my way to visit Lucile's

We stopped by for a quick breakfast and the food was delicious. Eggplant was good and the beignets were decent. The potatoes and biscuits were very good and probably the best part of the meal. Overall we really enjoyed the atmosphere and would come back if we were in town again.

1st of all, our server Ashwin gave us 10-STAR service! We had blackened salmon, fried potatoes...plus homemade biscuits with blueberry and strawberry-rhubarb compote and beignets. Everything was simply divine! Next time we are in Boulder, this will be our first stop. Thank you Lucile's!

It goes without saying that this place is a gem and remarkably unique. The fried trout was a treat. We’ll be coming back whenever we drive up to Boulder.

Would give 100 stars if I could! Incredibly tasty, new-orleans style food in a home converted into a restaurant. The beignets were to die for and the homemade jams that are served with the biscuits are delicious. The best food we had in boulder!

Great little place. An old home converted into a restaurant and food is reasonably priced. It's busy but that's a good sign and portions are very satisfying. Staff were very friendly and a must if you're here! Try their homemade jam with the biscuit.

Great service...outdoor seating...GREAT southern food...great portions. I had to try a place with "Creole" in the name while in Boulder. I am glad I did...Lucile's will not disappoint. Beignet's and chickory coffee, blackened salmon...shrimp and grits. I had the shrimp and grits and my guest had the blackened salmon...BRAVO!
