Great taste, great portions and great price ($11-12 ish per dish) with a large collection of items. One main dish is enough for 1.5 meals easily. They are also consistently ranked as one of Boulders best diners. They also have ample seating indoor and outdoor. Our favorite dishes were the Huveos Socorro and carne asada papas. Most dishes come with fries/hash browns, tortilla/toast, eggs or gravy/red or green Chile.

This place is simply special folks. The sheer size of the homemade biscuits & cinnamon rolls were enough to win my heart. The thick cut bacon and biscuit and gravy calamity left me feeling beyond satisfied.

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Doug’s was recommended by staff at our hotel and they were on the money. Very clean, super friendly staff and the food was a massive step above the usual diner. I had the “Favorite” omelette with hash browns, which were cooked to perfection. The biscuits are nothing short of spectacular with a choice of homemade jam. The other diners in my group were similarly impressed with their entrees. We went for breakfast twice during a 4 day visit to Boulder. The only slight drawback for us was that our table (same table both visits) was under an AC vent so it was a bit cold. I also caught a glimpse of some lunch food going to a table that looked just as excellent. Highly recommended.

Another GREAT breakfast place. The eggs benedict were amazing and the thick cut bacon was delicious. The hash was good too. I really liked the pesto tomatoes, even though it is so simple. Good service, food, and atmosphere.

Great Selection and Food. Service was good. Don’t know if the Air Conditioning was working or not but seemed a little stuffy and hot. Huge Portions served in a nice Clean Restaurant!

Fantastic brunch/lunch place! One can expect a high quality meal that will satisfy your appetite. The Boulder merchandise on the wall gives it a homey and cozy vibe to the establishment. The decor is on point and it’s a great place for family meals. They have a good selection of food at very reasonable prices, especially for Boulder standards I was not a huge fan of their French fries but was nothing in comparison to the overall experience. The staff were polite and there is ample of indoor and outdoor seating.

Ordered breakfast burrito and pancake. Both excellent and huge portion, definitely could split. Overall, a great experience.

This is a wonderful breakfast and lunch diner. $1 mimosas (with purchase of entire). The $5 cinnamon roll is huge. Inside is bright and airy. Outdoor seating too.

Awesome diner, great food, fabulous staff, easy to find and decent prices for what you get. My server, Mesh, was the best ever, super sweet, friendly and helpful. I'm totally happy with my experience at Doug's Diner.

If you get a papa's, plan on taking some home! Also the biscuits are super delicious with the plum jam. This may become our regular stop after hiking.

Absolutely love this place for weekend brunch with Bloody Mary's; be sure to spend the extra buck for the caramelized bacon strip! Great food with huge portions. Pretty basic interior, tho' the patio is nice. Overall can't say enough about Doug's.

Amazing and prompt service- amazing suggestions from the staff and plenty of options. I ordered the big pig omlette and the red and green chili. Bacon was cooked to perfect and cut into the perfect sized pieces. The chili's were perfectly crafted, not spicy but a small kick. Homemade Jam was phenomenal, I had it with Rye toast, and it was so delicious. I tried the strawberry, but they were also offering mango, I believe. I also ordered the cinnamon roll, which was massive. It's probably 12 inches across with the perfect amount of homemade icing. This whole dining experience was met with exemplary staff efforts by my server Victoria, making sure I had everything I needed the entire time and was a pleasure to interact with. Overall she enhanced the experience, making me say that it was an overall 10/10 experience and I will be returning.

Excellent experience here. Food was really good (maybe the best biscuit I’ve ever had). Service was top notch and the vibe is good as well. I really enjoyed my breakfast here!

Ordered Over easy eggs…hard served…waiter served latecomers first…coffee cup not topped off timely…forgot an item…first time this happened here…disappointing but stuff happens…not sure if waiter having eggs cooked over easy or what…food getting cold…sadly it is not busy here so should be no excuses! The plate was full of water on bottom…The saga continues as the waiter disappeared and was heard Basing and laughing (at me?) in kitchen so waiting for my ticket…unable to finish cold meal…If I was rude I could understand but even though I am miffed I didn’t express it! This is terrible service! The table next to me (a different waiter) already has their ticket and ready to leave…. The cook has an attitude and asked to see the eggs. See photo. In fairness, I spoke with Laura. The manager who comped my meal apologetically sincerely explaining their dilemma in finding experienced employees. I understand as I know Boulder employers have difficulty staffing their businesses. Laura humbly asked for a second chance and so it is!

This is a great restaurant to have an early breakfast. There is many options you can choose from the menu. I went with the breakfast burrito with a mixture of salsa and green chili and it was amazing. The service was excellent and seems to be not too busy making dining in faster than other places. I would highly recommend this place for those who need an early morning meal.

I love this place. Great food, great service, nice place to have a good meal experience with friends in a good conversation, spacious, nice outside seats, easy to access and park, clean, And GREAT FOOD I love lillybyly brunch, eggs Benedict, and you can always personalize your orders.

We are from Eastern Nebraska and were traveling through on our way to Estes, and searched the best breakfast in Boulder, and landed here! I am SO GLAD we chose to stop here, the "papas" was out of this world!! The gravy sauce is so good and the chorizo was amazing. My husband got the Frontier burger and he said without a doubt, it's the best burger he has ever had (mind you we live near Omaha steaks.. if that says anything!) The waiter was so down to earth and actually talked to us, and even gave us free to go cups with our drinks for the road ahead of us! 10/10 recommend!!!

I love Doug's dinner. The Black Betty is amazing. Great atmosphere. You can even get a bloody Mary if you need one, 😁. Very friendly staff, inside and outside seating. Very clean restaurant also. They make you feel right at home here. Well worth the visit. I have become a regular here since they opened this one by my house, used to have to drive out of town to get my Doug's fix. I love having one right down the street. Some of the best burgers around, plus many vegetarian options as well.😎

The food was okay but I've been all over the world and the United States and this was the worst service I've ever received at a restaurant. I never complain and I'm never rude. I wasn't at this place. They sat my family of 5 at a table meant for 2 while using the bigger tables exclusively for couples. We had no room and it didn't make much sense but okay but it took almost an hour to get our food when tables that came in 30 minutes after us were leaving, most of which ordered the same thing as we did. Our food came out without all the ingredients on it which was also weird. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Love the new location! Way better parking, really nice deck area that will be great when it warms up. Food still great and one of the few sit down restaurants in boulder you can get an omelet and coffee for less than 15$

Great lunch with the family. Super attentive service and value added cinnamon bun. LEGEND burger was great as well corned beef sandwich an other burgers. Fast service and reasonable pricing. If you go to Boulder have breakfast or lunch here, you will always return
