The STAPLE of Boulder. You must visit here. The staff is extraordinary, the owner is the nicest person ever. Best breakfast in Boulder hands down!! Crepes are phenomenal, Quiches are the best I have had since Europe. And all the baked goods are exquisite. I always come here at least once a week. Extra: The side salad is a must.

A local gem! Le French Café has delicious food and very friendly owner and staff. The croissant sandwich was the best I've ever had, and was a delicious scramble rather than normal circular piece of egg in a breakfast sandwich. The seasoning on the fries was great, and the fruit custard was incredible! I will absolutely return if I'm in the area again.

Let's start with the service. It was incredibly great. The energy and the food were matched as excellent. Must say this is a place. We'll come back and visit every time we're in. Boulder and if you're in Boulder looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot this is it!!

New favorite cafe in Boulder. Delicious dessert options, but the savory was my favorite. Highly recommend the Cannois. The eggplant is a beautiful touch! Crepes are delicious. Their brie sandwich was a bit dry. Can't go wrong with desserts here!

The most delicious crepes we have ever tasted! The first day, we tried the butter and sugar crepe, the next day we went back for the strawberry with whipped cream crepe and the savory Poulandre (chicken & mushroom)-they were delicious! We equally adored the omelettes! The Dark Cherry latte special was also divine. Friendly service and lovely outdoor patio.

The place is great for a quick bite. It has a very colorful and peppy vibe. The restrooms are clean as well. The staff are also very welcoming. It would be nicer if it was open until 6 or 7 in the evening, especially when you are looking to have a hot coffee in a cozy place! They also have almond milk as an option for vegans.

The owner is so kind and phenomenal. I initially ordered the croissant au jambon not realizing it was under the “croques” section meaning it’s a sandwich covered in cheese— I just thought it would be a croissant sandwich (the menu didn’t mention that but it’s fairly commonly known, I just didn’t realize personally). It ended up being a lot of cheese and was too much for me, I wanted to eat it and do my best to love it but it was simply too heavy so I thought I’d kindly ask if I could swap it for something else, I felt bad because this was my fault, but the owner was so kind and generous and allowed me to get something else. I ended up with the Monte Carlo baguette which is phenomenal. I really love that the baguette is soft & crunchy, a lot of baguette sandwiches I’ve had end up being too crunchy and challenging to eat- not this one. The fries are also soooo good, I love the seasoning. Highly recommend. Wonderful people, I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience!

During our visit on a Sunday morning, we shared four croissants between the two of us. Two sweet (chocolate; almond) and two savory (bacon/egg; spinach/ricotta). Everything was simply divine and enough reason to return the next time we are in Boulder. Honestly, the almond croissant was the best one I've found in the states. I can't wait for our next visit.

The most amazing French food and the best welcome you will get in Boulder! The quiche and crepes are magical. The chocolate croissants are perfection. I go every chance I get.

My best friend and I stopped in today kind of off a whim! The owner is AMAZING and provides the highest quality service. We absolutely will return!! Also the food is beyond this world and is true French cuisine from the sandwiches to the pastries!

One of my favorite place to get French food. Agnes (the owner) is the friendliest welcoming waitress you'll meet. The food is excellent (being French myself I have found myself in front of a plate that had nothing French many times - but this is not one of them!) I strongly recommend coming here to enjoy amazing authentic food in a very comfortable and nice place!

We're obsessed! The food is incredible - simple yet exquisite baguette sandwiches, the best French fries on the planet, decadent pastries, and expertly prepared coffee drinks. Loveliest owner and staff, nice casual environment. We look forward to trying everything on the menu (and practicing our French!).

Amazing! Did takeout so aside from efficiency and a friendly checkout I can't really speak to in store customer service but holy hell the food was excellent. Having had French food and pastries at many places throughout the country, they really nailed it. I tried several things not pictured, but literally everything was good. Nice selection, and if you are into these sorts of dishes, it was hard to pic between all of them. Definitely stop in.

Excellent 3 cheese crepe and cafe au lait. Pricey, but excellent. The portion could have been a little larger for the price. You have to get a table, then get in line again to order.

I have to get a crepe here about once a month. I like the forestiere with spinach instead of bacon. The owner is a gregarious tall Frenchwoman who exudes joy. I don't know of another place in town with such nice pastries either.

Delicious meals! I just wish they were a tad more affordable. The organization of the place is a little awkward in the sense that you need to line up to order but the line is right by the entrance door, so there’s a crowd of people (some wanting to order, some wanting to get seated). Super cute design with lots of french-themed items. The crepe was absolutely yummy, and I’ll be dreaming of that creamy sauce for weeks to come. Fries were average :) It’s definitely an experience worth investing into!

Such a cool little place to find. Really fun and homey atmosphere. The food is phenomenal, and the pastries are to die for. We visited once while visiting CU Boulder, and ended up making a second trek out to Boulder just for the croissants here. The croissant bread pudding was a borderline religious experience it was so good. Do yourself a favor and pop-in for lunch. You won’t regret it!

Easily one of the most delightful and whimsical cafe's in Boulder. This owner cares. Highly engaged, professional, and truly loves her work. Above and beyond customer care, and the food is super good. Here is a quick example: The owner noticed that our daughter was enjoying people watching while a friend and I chatted over coffee sips. The owner then came by with a small pastry and keychain Eiffel Tower for my daughter to play with (on the house) - absolutely made our day and my daughter's. Where else are you going to find that kind of engagement from staff or an owner?! If you are in Boulder, this is your breakfast spot. Get over there!

Food is good and reasonably priced. Service was very friendly but slow. 5/ 4.5stars is probably about right. I had the bacon swiss and mushroom crepe with fries and coffee and blueberry tart. The fries are delicious, crepe is addictive so much flavor, tart was good and the coffee was meh.

Delicious pastries and espresso drinks! I feel transported to Paris every time I get a croissant and cappuccino. They are always very friendly and attentive. Feels covid safe - great outdoor patio

Le French Café is amazing! The owners, Quentin & Agnes, are super-friendly and during the pandemic they’ve been making these delicious French meals you can heat up at home in no time. My wife and I both agree their duck is our favorite meal in town!

I wish I could review for quality of food but I wasn’t given that opportunity. I placed an order for a Christmas Yule log cake and was not told that it needed to be prepaid to hold the order. The day after the orders needed to be made, I received a message that they had cancelled my order. I called to explain the miscommunication and they still refused to take payment. Terrible communication and customer service, had absolutely no interest in sorting out this problem. Hopefully the food is good enough to make up for extremely ungracious attitudes. I guess I won’t ever know. The Christmas spirit is strong with them lol

This is truly my absolute favorite place in all of Boulder and I come here every time I come. It is worth every bite for lunch and pastries! I only wish it was open longer hours. If you want to treat yourself or impress anyone this is the place!
