Very good. South Boulder is my favorite part of the city and the restaurant fits in well. No wait even though it was busy. Good quality, good service. The blueberry cornbread was a stand out!

We stopped by the walnut cafe on Sunday, it was very busy however we did not have to wait. We ordered a boulder latte to drink which was delicious. For our food we got the sunnyside sandwich with turkey sausage with a side of French toast and the southside omelet with a side of potatoes and blueberry cornbread. The sandwich featured a warm croissant that had a nice crunch and the turkey sausage added some nice flavor. The omelet was delicious with all the added flavor from the green chilis. As always, the potatoes were incredible. The cornbread was pretty good but a little on the dry side. Amazing local breakfast restaurant in boulder!

Love 💖💖💖 this place, great creative sandwiches and other dishes. Great music 🎶🎶🎶 a helpful food servers. Great place for a relaxing meal. Boulder Strong 💖💖💖 I had the Denver omelet, which comes with two sides. I choose fresh fruit and potatoes 😋😃😋 But there are many other dishes including the most amazing cinnamon rolls 😋😁😁😁😋

South Side Walnut Cafe is consistently delicious with great service! Their lattes are the BEST, my favorites are the Boulder and Walnutty. I've had numerous dishes but always go back to the Eggs Marcos, it's SO good! Highly recommend the blueberry cornbread and breakfast potatoes too. You can't go wrong at South Side.

This is a great breakfast and brunch spot. There are a lot of coffee and tea options. I enjoyed the breakfast quesadilla and a side of breakfast potatoes.

My friend and I had a great experience here! The service was great and everyone was so patient with us which was awesome because I had a lot of trouble deciding what I wanted to eat. The food was all pretty good but nothing stellar so that’s why only 4 stars. I was pretty disappointed with the biscuit because it wasn’t standard or as buttery as I expected. It by no means was bad, it just wasn’t what I expected or would be used to. We both got the BHAKTI CHAI which was absolutely delicious and I’d definitely recommend. Might even go there just for it! I would definitely recommend South Side Walnut to others looking for a chill good brunch spot. Also decent pricing.

Not only was the food delicious, but the service was wonderful! Jodi greeted us and sat and talked to us a bit, which was the perfect way to get to know the feel of the people and restaurant as a whole. We highly recommend the pesto quesadilla and the Big Dill!!

This is one of few places I would give six stars to if I could. Perhaps the friendliest restaurant I've been to. Both servers were great. They had opinions about the food, suggestions, they listened to my kids order patiently, and were generally very attentive. They even went above and beyond and made suggestions about our plans since we were just playing it by ear. Absolutely outstanding. If that was not enough, the food was great and very reasonably priced. Honestly, we don't go out that much anymore because quality is so bad everywhere but this place is an exception and we'll be back. Pancakes, omelettes, hashbrowns, the quiche, etc. were all great. Even their house salsa is outstanding! All in all, great place to visit!!

It is a very pleasant Cafe and the employees are just great. I ordered a burrito, but it was unlike any burrito I've had before. The soft shell was gooey and hard to cut even with a knife. I'm sure someone might explain to me that's the way it's supposed to be but I sure didn't like the texture. I forget what I had for dessert but it was great. I'd give it another chance if I ever get up that way, but I would order something different

Basically a diner with major Boulder vibes. I love diners and I love Boulder, so it’s a win win for me. I always bring anyone who’s visiting me (an East Coast transplant like so many) from out of town here for breakfast/brunch because it’s reliably delicious, the atmosphere is really fun, and the staff is so friendly and chill; you know you’re not on the east coast (where my visitors hail from) anymore when you step into this cafe. The coffee is awesome too. I especially love the Boulder latte. Service is consistently good to excellent, mostly depending on how busy they are. I think they tend to be a tad short staffed at busy times but I’m not going to knock them for that; the wait staff 100% do their absolute best at all times, and that’s all I will ever ask for.

A staple in Boulder. Great breakfast options, reasonable priced good service. My only complaint is their hours. Wish they we open for dinner.

Just stopped in to get food to go and coffee. I didn’t catch her name, but the woman behind the counter who helped me was very attentive and sweet. I’ve had great service every time I come here and the food is always delicious. Five million stars, ten out of ten would recommend to literally anyone.

Not bad for a second location. I got a half sandwich and a good spinach soup. Friendly staff. Decent price for lunch. My only issue was not having a pie selection like the other Walnut Cafe. I will be back.

We had breakfast here a few Saturdays ago and had a nice time! I was surprised that there was no line to get in; we were seated immediately. Our server was very nice, and the menu had a good variety of options. I ended up having the sunrise sandwich, which was probably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a while. The other food ordered by the rest of the party - French toast and some sides - was also good! Overall, and pleasant and tasty experience!

Great food and amazing vibes here! We've been multiple times for the big dill eggs and the banana walnut french toast. Absolutely sublime! The coffee drinks are refreshing and wonderful, too. Great outdoor seating that's shaded and very attentive and charming waitstaff. We'll definitely be back, I'm telling everyone about this place.

True Down home, Neighborhood atmosphere, Wonderful Staff, and Really Good Food (Everything on the Menu). South Boulder's best place to eat, in fact one of the best places to eat on the whole planet :-) Highly Recommended

First visit and instant fan! Went with their breakfast menu even though lunch looked great too. Pumpkin pancakes are amazing as are their potatoes and cornbread biscuits. Portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. Our server Makayla was helpful with suggestions and checked up on us the appropriate amount of times.

Our server was amazing, the food was delicious, we sat outside looking at the flatirons is beautiful fall day... I love that you get 2 sides with your entree. I love a savory breakfast option with potatoes but also often want something sweet... This was the perfect solution!

Their coffee are amazing good! I love their pesto quesadilla that I had to ordered twice in a row. The staff are so friendly and easy to work with my deafness!

Love the S. Side Walnut cafe. Why? Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. Been there countless times. Never ever been disappointed. Get there early on weekends...well before 9am...to avoid having to wait too long. Esp. for a table outside when the weather is nice during COVID times.
