Had a great brunch here. The wife had huevos rancheros and I had the vegetarian burrito, both were great. They are currently repainting the outside and it is looking great. Plenty of seating and a flat out amazing amount of tequilas to choose from. Indoor and outdoor seating. A nice bar inside also. Very friendly staff, and a very clean restaurant. Reasonable prices, and relaxing atmosphere. Well worth the stop. Stopped back by. Outside painting is done. Meals and plates are amazing still. One of my favorite Boulder places to eat! (Another update) Once again an amazing meal. I had the spinach enchiladas and the misses had nachos. Both were flat out amazing. This restaurant has been spot on every meal I have had here. They have a huge selection of food and drinks. EVERY plate I have eaten here has been amazing. A very clean restaurant with very friendly staff. One of my favorite places in Boulder to eat! (Update)- Stopped by for dinner with the wife and in-laws. Once again, truly amazing food. The staff are amazing, friendly, and made us feel more than at home. If you haven’t tried this place, you are missing out.

We live in Windsor/F.Collins and decided to go Boulder to do a little shopping. When we were done we decided to get something to eat. We looked and reviews for Rincon Del Sol were very good and decided to try it, and we were NOT disappointed. The outside is basic and not much to the eye but we did not come here for fancy. We came to have dinner and they did not disappoint the food was EXCELLENT!! And the staff was even better. The Fajitas were like gold and tasted great and the portions were huge. I am a big eater and took half of it home. My wife had the happy hour Chile Relano and Cheese & onion Enchilada and she took half home as well. Next time we come to Boulder and shop this a definitely our dinner spot. This is one of the best mom and pop restaurants we have been to. Support the local community Restaurants and by pass the chain stuff. Thanks for the great experience!!!

It was decent and comfy. The food was good. The plate was hot. The bathroom was clean. Looks like they have a lot of liquor options. The service was okay. It was not very busy on a weekday lunch. Thank you 👍

Don’t trust them if you have any food restrictions. Just ate here with a group. Our guide asked that they prepare some meat without peppers since a few of us cannot eat them. The restaurant served us a separate plate, but they obviously just removed peppers. I’m now sick the day before heading home because they lied about how the food was prepared.

Family a party of 7 was seated right away then provided with our drinks and chips with salsa. We were given time to make our choices and the food came out hot and delish. The waiter made sure our drinks were filled and everything was fine. A great time was had by all.

Best fresh made Chelada I've ever had. The Chile Verde was great, very tender and tasty. And the Pollo Chimichanga was really really good especially with some guacamole on top. Service was friendly and very professional, the salsa was just kept on being refilled even before we ever had a chance to ask.

This restaurant serves up large portions of authentic Mexican dishes, and we enjoyed everything we purchased. Prices are very reasonable too. The spicy salsa we requested was delicious, one of the best we've had in the area. Service was good, and our friendly waiter occasionally checked on us to fill waters and make sure our food met expectations. Where I had to knock a combined star are 2 things, the air conditioner didn't work (maybe doesn't even exist since they have wall-mounted fans) and the restaurant was noticeably dirty in certain places. We had to eat and sweat on a 90-degree day, so although the food was excellent the heat in the restaurant was terribly distracting. They had to open exterior doors for ventilation so flies were everywhere and swatting them away from our food became a chore we didn't enjoy. The filth we saw were in the woman's washroom and on the wall-mounted fans which had caked on dirt everywhere. We were worried the aged caked-on dirt would drop into our meals. We'll go back, but only for take-out next time.

Genuine Mexican, service left a lot to be desired, they threw us in a corner and ignored us, we had to go to bar ourselves to order more drinks, the food arrived and we had No cutlery, so up we got again. ordered tacos and you choose the protein, so I asked for pescado (from my name you can guess I speak Spanish) and they sent out Asado (beef). They replaced and the fish was great, bit more attention to service and its a winner

I have never left a review for a restaurant, much less a bad one but… The food was inedible. Attached are photos of the “queso.” The waiter (who came to our table maybe 3 times) did not disclose the fact that the two for one margaritas were “per person”… so even though we each only had one we paid full price for both. The amount of money we spent at this establishment for disgusting food must be how they stay open as I cannot imagine how they have any repeat customers.

I called for a pick up order. I told the lady on the phone vegetarian fajita plate with corn tortillas and black beans. Lady on Phone: Vegetable burrito? Me: No, vegetarian fajita plate, with corn tortillas and black beans. Lady: Oh okay. Got it. Me: Yes, thank you. Vegetarian fajita plate, with corn tortillas and black beans. Lady: Okay. With meat, or chicken, or... Me:...no. No meat, no chicken. Vegetables only. Vegetarian fajita plate, with corn tortillas and black beans. Lady: Ah okay. Me: Yes, vegetarian fajita plate, with corn tortillas and black, thank you. Lady: Okay, thank you. About 15 minutes. I arrived via bicycle. And yet after specifying many times over the phone to her, the lady got my order wrong. It was obviously a language barrier issue. Very frustrating that after all my time reiterating "vegetarian fajita plate with corn tortillas and black beans", the incompetent employee still got it wrong. Either lazy or unable to do the bare minimum. When I walked in, the server who helped me with my order lied to my face when she said it was the vegetable fajita. It was probably the same lady on the phone. Foolish on my part for not checking that they got the order right. Pissed.

I'm from East Texas and often miss good Mexican food, but I have found my place! I personally enjoy their queso and enchiladas. Rincon has a great happy hour, and the prices are good. The portions are a nice size and I never leave hungry. The staff are always super friendly. I recommend this to anyone craving some good authentic Mexican food!!

Had lunch on a Tuesday. Tasty, big-plate Mexican food. Plenty hot and filling. Happy hour prices all day long on Mondays and Tuesdays, much to my pleasant surprise.

This place is good. I really like that they are very friendly upon arrival. The chips salsa and guacamole is awesome. They have different sauces to choose from for their enchiladas which are served piping hot and delicious. They also let you choose from different cheeses for your enchiladas and they don’t over do it on the cheese they put the perfect amount so it’s not overly greasy. I also ordered a taco and they set it on a shell beneath the taco so it’s not soggy when you pick it up. Great tasting Mexican food and they use high quality ingredients.

Let me start by saying the service was great! My waitress was attentive and did her job well. The food however was not to my likings at all. The queso is not queso at all, it’s more along the lines of canned cheese sauce. I also ordered a taco salad, it wasn’t horrible but definitely not what I was expecting. I gave 3 stars for the service alone, I personally will not return.

I've eaten here a few times and the food is always good and relatively inexpensive. The drinks are good and even better when you get the 2 for 1 happy hour deal. I have been here a handful of times for fundraiser nights supporting student organizations at CU. It's always fun to support the Boulder community while enjoying good food, drinks, and company!

Terrible service. Our waiter checked on his 2 tables by us multiple times. Never once checked on our table. The “queso” was horrible it was just melted mozzarella THATS NOT QUESO! Terrible food terrible service and way over priced even on happy hour. We will most definitely not return to this establishment and if you’re a member the LQBTQIA+ family don’t diner here if you like good service.

Went to Rincon del Sol twice in 3 days. The best Carnitas and Margaritas. Service is Great. Froy even sang "I left my heart in San Francisco" for us. We will definitely be back!

I don't know why I have never stopped before. I was actually craving Chinese food when I passed it up. I had time on my hands so I decided I wanted to try it. I circled the block to give it a try and was sooo glad I did. Family run business. Service was good and the food was Amazing!! Happy Hour 2 for 1 House Margarita's daily from 2-6. I can usually tell how the restaurants food is going to be by the chips and salsa. The salsa had a nice heat to it with good flavor and the chips were just right. I was excited to try the rest. I ordered the Steak Fajita. It was sizzling and smoking hot when it came to the table. WoW! It's a lot of food. Definitely a meal that could be shared. Served with rice and your choice of beans and all the fixings for fajitas. Dessert was sopaipillas. Bite sized with honey and an awesome whipped cream mixture. OMG! I will definitely be back to try other menu items. Give it a try! You won't be disappointed!

We held a CU grad party last night, hosted by the Rincon crew. 30+ guests. They did an awesome job, service, food, margs were top shelf. You made our life alittle easier! Muchas Gracias!
