Better than I expected. Will come back. Great service too.

I opted for the 1988 fish tacos combo accompanied by white rice and black beans. Unfortunately, I found the tacos to be lacking in flavor and overall unappealing. In fact, I couldn't even finish one of them. The lukewarm and overly salty black beans and rice did little to enhance the meal. Surprisingly, the "Hawaiian" onion rings were the highlight with their satisfying taste and texture, although I did encounter some fish-flavored crispy bits in the basket that left me feeling a bit queasy. Not only that, but I asked for ranch and they gave me the wrong dipping sauce. Not only that, but, regrettably, when I requested the receipt, the staff assured me they would bring it but failed to do so. On a positive note, the pleasant weather and enjoyable music created a nice ambiance. Nonetheless, considering the underwhelming taste and the steep price of $25 for a lackluster taco plate and onion rings, my Saturday lunch experience fell far short of expectations.

The Boulder Wahoo has a great staff - all the guys are friendly and welcoming. But the food is just not there. I have to keep trying to like the place since I'm going there from time to time with my friends. And I'm sure I'll find a dish I can leave a better review for.

The best shrimp tacos I've ever had, so nice I've ordered them twice this week. And definitely more to come.

My first visit to any Wahoo's Fish Taco since the pandemic. I was shocked at how much the quality of the food has gone down and at the same time the price has gone up. A burrito was $12.50 and it was mostly mush. On top of that the number of homeless people both inside and outside of the restaurant means that I will never return.

Love the Boulder location (not the parking lot though). Food was great as always, (even got extra to take home), person taking my order was very pleasant, love the atmosphere. I really wish they would open one in Westminster, Arvada, or Broomfield.

I had a really good experience here. My server Jillian was very polite and helpful while I was ordering and made everything very clear. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very upbeat and friendly. I ordered the outer reef burrito with green sauce. It was perfect. 10/10 would recommend.

I love this place!!! So glad the bar is open ❤️ I’ve had really good talks with Nick and Eric at the bar while I’m drinking a margarita. The staff is always friendly and eager to share their thoughts on the food that’s one of the reasons I keep coming back.

10 years a customer … always lots to 💕@Wahoo’s. The chicken tortilla soup a hidden menu gem. Excellent salsas, locals beers and friendly helpful team !

Food is not served fresh rice was crunchy and chicken tasted fishy like they cook the chicken on the same grill as the fish. No clean tables to sit at.

Incredible burrito every time. Ronald is a great employee - he walked me through my order and explained differences in spice levels etc to make sure my order was perfect. Truly a valuable asset

It was good, but not great. Service was fast and the employees were pleasant. The wahoo fish taco and chicken tacos were a little bland. They could use some sort of seasoning I think. I would go here again. The food was fresh and salsas were flavorful. The proteins just needed a little more flavor. Cool interior motif.

Counter worked knew almost nothing about the menu. Asked someone who said they were a “server” knew even less. Ask for flour torts. Did not get one that wasn’t corn. This place is great, if you you don’t care about getting What you want or don’t know anything about Mexican food. Food is less than mediocre

I love this place!! I love how great the flavors are and that it’s affordable. It’s as good (or better but don’t tell chipotle I said that) as Chipotle for sure. I always get a tofu taco with a side of white rice and spicy white beans. Oh and a cookie. YUM! The margarita pitcher is amazing too but I usually go in on my lunch break so I try to avoid ordering that typically.

My fave fish tacos. A SoCal staple that we're lucky enough to have here. The blackened fish is the best--it isn't fried (although you can get them that way) so healthier than other taco places. The beans and rice are super tasty. Love the selection of salsas. Just straight up awesome, healthy food!

Great surprise eatery! The food was excellent as well as the decor! As an old skateboarder, I was thrilled to see the boards all over walls and throughout the store. They include all outdoor activities for the Boulder area. Skies, Snowboards, skateboards etc.

I was in town and randomly stopped here and so glad I did. All the gentlemen working here were extremely kind, welcoming, and friendly. I told the gentleman behind the counter that I had never been there before and he suggested I try the spicy fish sandwich. Well his suggestion was perfect the sandwich was huge delicious and perfectly spicy. Could not recommend this place more and I will be back.

First time at Boulder location.. The staff 5 stars and the meal was 5 stars as well. This dish was the Cajun fish tacos with white and black beans with brown rice.

Fish tacos and more. Yep, it’s a chain but it is pretty dang good. The Kahlua Maui Bowl was good, but next time I’ll go for the fish taco.

I love wahoos but the service I have been getting has been really unacceptable. The last 3 times I have tried to place an order over the phone I have been put on hold and then hung up on after 5 minutes or so. I came in for my pickup order only to be confronted aggresively by an employee telling me where I parked is only for pick up and I needed to move but I was picking up an order. Overall, I want to keep coming here but I am tired of the staff with their lack of customer service. I tip well, I come often and am completely disrespected by staff.

Have always been a fan of Wahoo's. Their smothered burritos with green sauce can be beat. If you like spicy, get Mr. Lees chili sauce mixed on the inside. So good!

Awesome burritos 🌯. I’ve had their fish, carnitas, and the chicken. All are great. They’re very filling. I’ve also had their chips and salsa - again, also very good and pretty addicting. The sauces you can get on the burritos are awesome. Especially the green one (I’m not sure what it’s called).

Nice lunch! It was pretty easy to negotiate the menu for vegan options. The guy behind the counter helped. Very tasty and healthy I think! The folks working here are pleasant.

Fish tacos are good here! Guys are very friendly as well. I made the mistake of ordering nachos. Never again. I’ll stick to the fish tacos. 👌🏽
