Great little sushi place. Nothing fancy when it comes to the restaurant but the food is great especially for the price. Our waitress was super friendly and even gave us some travel advice since I mentioned we were planning a trip to Japan. We’ve been two weekends in a row after discovering this place and it was consistently good. Would definitely recommend as a local low-key sushi place with great food!

If you’re looking for a true Edomae Zushi meal in Boulder look no further. I’m so happy to have found this gem. Super friendly/ knowledgeable staff, and the sushi Chef is true master.

The wait staff is perhaps the highlight of this place. I don't really expect the best of Asian food in Colorado, specifically Boulder...but I find this place being better than any on Pearl Street or Broadway. We really appreciated the gentle hospitality, and a reservation is recommended. I come from a family who runs restaurants and this place did an exceptional job checking in on patrons throughout service. 👍 We came at 6:45pm with a reservation on a Friday, and the dining area was full despite a snow storm outside. Appeared like they were ready to flip tables at about 7:45/8. Spicy Bluefin tuna chef special was great.

We were craving some good Japanese food and our favorite place in Boulder was packed, so we dropped in here about 8:45 to a fairly empty restaurant. However, we were greeted warmly and immediately and were given a table within 30 seconds on a Friday night. We ordered sake, beer, and a few apps. The agedashi tofu was above average, though the broth was unusually thick. The fried squid legs were very good, as well. The shrimp shumai was pretty good, but we didn’t think it was worth the price. For mains, we ordered a couple of fatty bluefin rolls and the sashimi moriawase. The rolls were quite good (especially the hand roll), and while the sashimi was above average, it wasn’t worth the steep price for so little fish and the mediocre presentation. We will go back here, though, because we found it to be the second best Japanese restaurant in Boulder and it wasn’t crowded.

Our favorite sushi/Japanese in Boulder. They have plenty of regular customers, which says a lot. Consistent. High quality and authentic. Friendly. Not fancy. Family run. Don’t be in a hurry, as it can get busy and service might slow down, but the service is always great.

If you’re looking for an authentic sushi experience, this is the place! My bf and I love to go here, it’s like a little gem that not many know of. We used to go all the way down to Denver for Sushi Den but ever since we found Tashkent, we’ve been going here. I think it’s comparable if not better than sushi den. The sashimi selection as well as the other cooked dishes are are so tasty. We’ve tried quite a few things from the menu and it always tastes great. The staff is super nice and welcoming too! I recommend Tasuki 💯

Most authentic sushi in all of Boulder. The chef has been doing this his whole life and the food is incredible. The sushi bar is fresh and delicious. This is definitely a relaxed atmosphere and a slower dining experience and remember that authentic Japanese cuisine isn’t served at once so best for a date night versus bigger parties. I love the intimate atmosphere and authentic character of the restaurant. We’re lucky to have it in Boulder!

Bright and peaceful ambiance in a cozy, nicely laid out dinning room. The excellent service was prompt and friendly. Starting with the miso soup, all of the food was delicious. The softshell crab, baked salmon roll, crab roll, shrimp dumpling, udon soup, and red bean mochi were all freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. Soporro is available on draft.

The best sushi in Boulder. I guarantee. The green mochi with strawberry in the center was one of the best desserts i think I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was super nice, and the atmosphere was top🔝, highly recommend going out to dinner here. They deserve all the attention! On a fall night their service and the miso soup warmed my heart and my soul!!! Thanks for the amazing food sushi chefs, I never thought I would be so stunned by fish this far from an ocean!

Some of the freshest and best tasting sushi I've had yet. Most everything is a la carte. Highly recommended. And parking is terrible.

Highly, highly recommend this cute and cozy sushi joint. Loved the atmosphere and the service was phenomenal. Can’t recommend the caterpillar roll and the toro nigiri enough. Seriously cannot wait to come back and try more!!

For a sushi restaurant, Tasuki has super fresh fish. I particularly like their tuna which is deep red in color and melts in your mouth. For a sushi restaurant Tasuki has a unforgiveable flaw. The rice on several pieces of sushi fell off as they were lifted from the plate. It is hard for me to rate a sushi restaurant as excellent or good if the chef is unable to keep the rice together which is the most basic thing in making sushi.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant! Wonderful service, very fresh thick slices of fish, and an intimate setting. Every experience has been perfect! My out of town guests loved the meal and it's going to be our go to when they visit.

Tuna roll with the spicy sauce is my favorite one. Salmon roll and crab with apple roll are kind similar tastes.

We came in here on a Saturday night & were able to sit right away. We started with gyozas and miso soup. The gyozas were cooked perfectly with just a bit of crunch. For our meal we got fatty tuna, yellowtail, and salmon nigiri and 2 shrimp tempura rolls. The nigiri were amazing. All the cuts of fish were huge and fresh. Each one melted in your mouth. The shrimp tempura was delicious as well. The employees were also very sweet. This definitely has to be one of our favorite sushi spots in the Boulder area!

Best sushi spot in Boulder hands down. Service is fantastic, food is amazing, and the atmosphere is always on point even when busy. Ultra/friendly staff and melt in your mouth, high quality cuts of fish, traditionally prepared. Might be my favorite sushi spot in Colorado. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

We had dinner at Sushi Bistro TASUKI last night and I ordered the 8 piece omakase (chef's choice). IT WAS PHENOMENAL! The pieces were masterfully crafted. Each one of them was a work of art and absolutely delicious. ありがとうございます!!! 😊

This is my favorite sushi place in town. Delicious sushi with an array of traditional Japanese apps and dishes you don’t see elsewhere, as well as the specialty rolls you’re used to! Relaxed atmosphere and super sweet friendly staff. If you want to be able to hear the people you’re with in a lovely space, AND eat incredible sushi AND support a small local run business (seems Japanese-run over years of observation but I haven’t confirmed) this is THE place!
