Best Okonomiyaki ever!!! That is so worth to drive for 50 min and went there for my birthday dinner. The Okonomiyaki’s base I guess is mixed by egg white and cabbage, so it is really soft and moist. It has puffed rice as well, sooo good! The port belly and seafoods on top are all matched and grilled so well. Agedashi tofu is also delicious. The skin is on the thick side but the soup base is super flavorful, not too salty and not too sweet, but with dashi and seaweed flavor. I always ordered it and use it to judge a Japanese restaurant and it is definitely meet my bar. Ramen is also tasty! Also meet my bar.

I lived in Osaka for over 3 years and this is hands down the BEST okonomiyaki I've had since. Most Japanese food in USA & Canada is sushi, so to have a restaurant focus on Osaka food -- okonomiyaki and takoyaki -- is a rare and special thing. Unique and delicious! Koji-san and the whole staff: arigatō gozaimashita!

A fantastic place to visit! Food was a little pricey, but definitely well worth it. We had some who lived in Japan and they said the meal was as authentic as it gets. All the fish tastes fresh and not at all like frozen. The spicy miso ramen was delicious. Service was good. It took a little while to get the sushi itself, however it was worth the wait. The himself came to the table and asked how the meal was which we thought was amazing for someone his age. Atmosphere was fantastic. The decorations were simple and nice, and even down to the dish-ware was thought out.

In 2018 my husband and I took a trip of a life time and visited Japan for a month, visiting Tokyo, Sendai, And Kyoto, with day trips all across the island. We threw ourselves into the sights, sounds, and the food like the gluttons we are. We had both wanted to visit Japan before we even met and we finally pulled the trigger. A day doesn’t go by where I don’t think about the trip. Since returning we’ve been starved for the exquisite flavors of Japan. Last year we moved to Colorado and we were recently guided to Osaka’s and it was like being teleported back to Japan. From the okonomiyaki, to the ramen, to the sushi, all of it took us back to our favorite places on our trip. On our first visit I tried the the kaisen (seafood) okonomiyaki, which was rich and flavorful, spiced and cooked perfectly. The husband tied the modan (pork belly) version. Both of the dishes took us back to a little place we tried in Kyoto. We were so impressed we decided to try a sushi plate, the cuts were thick, and it was like butter, like the sushi house we tried in Sendai. Our most recent visit we went for ramen, and we both tried Osaka’s signature bowl. The pork broth is stunning, creamy, and full of flavor. And my word, the cashu literally falls apart it’s so tender. We’ve been desperate to find ramen that compares to our time in Japan and Osaka’s has filled that that little hole we’ve been missing. The owner stopped by our table and we shared our story and he shared his with us, and it was just delightful. The staff is so friendly, and we tried using what little Japanese we knew from our trip to show how much we had appreciated the food and service. This is our new favorite place to visit, we’ll be back, hell I’ve been there three times in the last month. ごちそうさま(でした)

I think Osaka’s is the best traditional and authentic Japanese restaurant in Colorado. Everything I had was so good. All my Japanese friends love this restaurant too. My recommendation is Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki. They are traditional Osaka (a city name in Japan) food and the owner is very passionate about them. Ramen was delicious too. If you live in Colorado, this place is the must-try.

The food was great, however the service was a bit slow. Maybe because it was Saturday night? For example one of us got the main dish a few minutes before the rest and the edamame took around 10-15 minutes to end up on our table.

Absolutely love this place! The service is wonderful and the food is amazing! Not even close to an average ramen or sushi restaurant, they offer a nice selection of other Japanese dishes that are so fun to experience and enjoy. This has become one of my go to places before taking in a concert or play at CU!

Authentic and very tasty food, simple ordering process with buttons at your table so no one is bothering you. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. If you order the pickled veggies just be aware it's a small bowl, and prices on drinks other than soft drinks may be a bit high, but everything is so tasty! They have indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for date night, I definitely recommend getting a reservation.

One of the best meals I have ever eaten, and an incredible experience to go along with it. After having some outstanding sushi, the main course arrived - a dish I’d never heard of but wanted to try. It was so complex, such interesting flavors, and clearly prepared by a master. The owner then stopped by to chat, and told us the story (which is incredible) about how he came to open this place in. Boulder. This is the kind of place you’re going to stumble upon maybe one in a thousand times you head out to eat. You definitely want to make sure you visit.

It does remind me of my experience in those big touristy restaurants in Ōsaka : crowded, noisy, busy, colorful, sensory overloaded. The food particularly the ramen was salty, sweet, gingery, peppery, rich in flavor and very Osaka. Don’t come during dinner time unless you want to queue at the crowded waiting area. Definitely would come back when it’s less busy. came back on a weekday and tried the okonomiyaki kaisen. the cabbage pancake a bit dry but the sauce tasty. the buns for the Ōsaka style 3 mini sliders also a bit dry. not easy making the buns dough mixed with veggies. if i go back I'll stick to the ramen.

Very good place!! Tuna rolls were very tasty and fresh. Hope to return and try more sushi. Ramen was also very good, but for me broth was too heavy and too much of scallions.

Seems authentic, food quality is high, portions are small but the food is done with quality, plenty of meat in each sushi and the appetizers too. Bathrooms are clean, and have seat warmers. When we ordered we waited pretty long for Sushi, way past getting our paycheck unfortunately, so just beware of that.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. I went here on a date night for fun and something new and we got it!!! Amazing food, awesome service, everything is clean. I highly recommend a reservation as it gets BUSY, I was very happy I made one. The sake they have there is unlike any sake I’ve had before. Wished I lived in CO so I could go back!!! Also, the toilet seat is heated… lol!

The staff were welcoming and very attentive. The atmosphere is nice for any occasion. The ramen bowls were generous sized and nicely garnished with very authentic flavor. The chicken Katsura was also very good. The Mont Blanc desert was a nice treat.

This was my wife’s first meal after giving birth and not having raw fish for over 9 months. The freshness of the fish was excellent and they provided us with plenty of gluten free soy sauce which is a nice bonus. The sashimi platter and seaweed salad were also very nice. Would like to try more of their menu sometime soon - it does seem pretty busy on Friday/Saturday nights.

This place was amazing. First time trying the okonomiyaki which was like a savory egg pancake and I was blown away. Get the deluxe one, you won’t be disappointed. Also got the garlic ramen and it was delicious. The service was great, I would definitely come back here!

It was love at first glance! They serve Japanese pancakes (must try, if you never heard of it) and amazing sake based cocktails 🤤 And ask the owner about his story, how he founded this place. It's truly inspiring 🙌

Quite easily the greatest restaurant on the face of planet earth. I would fly to Boulder just for this restaurant if I wasn’t blessed with my current proximity to this fine establishment. Each dish feels as if it comes with a loving kiss from the owner himself. Speaking of which I am legitimately contemplating reaching out to the Nobel committee to earn the owner the medal he so rightfully deserves. The thought of this man fills me with pure joy and helps me sleep at night. I am thoroughly convinced the weight staff and chefs all are angels descended from heaven to shed a warm light on this cruel and cold land.

The best restaurant in this neighbourhood. The service is fast and very polite. The food tastes very well and well presented. I can’t fault it. The price for sushi is a bit on the high side but the rest of the menu is fairly priced.
