Wonderful experience. Stopped by in the morning to grab tubes, a map, helmet, and life jacket. Then off to the river! We drove to the bottom and walked up so that we didn’t have to walk when we finished! Good rapids, fast flowing water. Not a lazy river. So much fun!

Laura was out guide, and my wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide! We had an AMAZING time and caught fish all day long! Laura was so much fun to be around and would highly recommend a trip!

This place was great. They rented us tubes and life jackets to float down the river in. I wasn't paying and I believe we got a corporate discount though. Helmets were also available but I decided that there were enough restrictions with the mask and life jacket. Not really necessary as the water level was pretty low. There were many options of different types of tubes.

Last weekend we booked a guided trip to the private lakes. It was the best experience I’ve ever had fly fishing! There was 4 of us and Laura and Nick were our guides. Laura was amazing, such a great coach. I have been on a handful of guided trips and I learned more with her than ever before. Nick took the guys with him and they had a blast, they had never gone and they were catching lots of fish! If I could rate our experience with more stars, I would! Laura, you rock girl 🙌🏼

Went on a fly fishing trip with Nick and Laura with some of our friends this past weekend. We had a blast! Laura was amazing and super hands on. She was patient and took the time to explain different skills and techniques! I've been fly fishing other times and this was by far the best trip! Nick took the guys out and they had a blast, catching lots of trout! He also cooked us lunch on the grill! Such a great experience! Will definitely be back!

Great place. The service was great. The guy who helped me, Bart, is the actual man with the actual plan. I rented a kayak for the day and used it in the Golden play park. They also rent canoes and tubes and have a nice looking fly fishing section.

You're not going to be bothered when you shop and they can help you out quick with any questions. I bought water shoes and water socks here, and I noticed you could get tube rentals here. most people had adventure west tubes but I think it's because a lot more people come from that side of the town.

Went to the gear swap and upgraded my hand me downs. The guys were great and helped me find a decent boat that fit my needs. Definitely heading back.. maybe get a guided fly fishing tour.

I was in there to buy a kayak. All employees were super nice and helpful. Went out of their way to answer questions and gave me good honest answers. Sick shop, have everything you might need for the river!

Guided Fly Fishing with Laura Beer, Golden River Sports:. My wife and I booked a day of fly fishing through Golden River Sports and was assigned Laura as our guide. We fished Bartle Lakes and had the entire property to ourselves. Laura was very capable, patient and knowledgeable....and she put us on fish! We easily landed 40+ fish including the largest brookie I have ever seen caught in the state. The entire day was special and we look forward to fishing more with Laura and Golden River Sports!

Nice place to learn fly fishing. The month of June had record rainfall so we had to reschedule a few times - appreciate the store policy being flexible. They provided all of the gear and a guide.

GRS has been my go to spot for high quality flies, gear and everything fishing. There truly is no better place to what what you need before you hit the river. Tight lines!!

We had the best fly fishing with Jay as our guide. He taught us an incredible amount of great information for beginners. He was very friendly, patient, and encouraging. The staff at the store have been incredibly helpful as we have learned more about fly fishing. They are super knowledgeable and able to provide just the right amount of information for where we are in the learning process.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly when setting my wife and I up for a fly fishing excursion. They had all the gear we needed and set us up with Jay as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly as he helped two novices on our first fly fishing experience.

I went into the shop a few days ago and met Bailey and Bailey. Both of them were very helpful with local knowledge and advice along with some fishing stories from their guiding. I would highly recommend this shop. Also the prices are very fair for a shop of that size

Great prices and friendly, knowledgable service! We rented tubes, PFDs and helmets for tubing on Clear Creek. They were so helpful figuring out logistics as it was our first time out. Would definitely use them again!
