After my experience here I can’t say enough good things about the entire appointment. I was able to quickly schedule my appointment online, without having to make any follow up phone calls. The day of the visit the staff was super friendly and made sure I was comfortable. When the actual exam was being completed by the doctor he was extremely easy to talk to. It felt like I was speaking to a friend who I was catching up with. During the actual exam I was blown away with the quality of vision and how quickly the doctor was able to fix my prescription. I would strongly recommend scheduling eye exams here!

Liked all of the office staff. Everyone was professional without being stuffy. The doctor was easy going. I liked that the temperature of the office was pleasant. I felt like I received the best eye information and suggestions that I’ve ever gotten. The doctor asked what questions I had. Highly recommend the extra scan for the eyes to see any additional concerns. If you can afford it I think it is so worth it!

Doctor Joshua Goetz (OD) was amazing in his approach with my nine year old daughter during her eye exam. I witnessed him taking his time with her, asking her questions, answering her questions, making her laugh and made light of the situation. He was fantastic! The rest of the staff were wonderful as well. This will be our new location for all eye exams in the future.

I brought my daughter in Saturday to get new glasses and was able to get the last available appointment for an eye exam. So happy we did because this location in Castle Rock is so amazing!! The entire staff is so nice, so helpful and really friendly!! Not to mention they had a fantastic selection of frames to choose from and my daughter found the most perfect ones that she loves. I'm going to make an appointment for myself and get new frames,. I'm so happy we came here. Definitely highly recommend!!!

I was nervous before my appointment since I don’t like doctors’ appointments, but Dr. Chad and his team made me feel so comfortable from the beginning to finishing up with picking out my glasses. Each step of the process Dr Chad and his team made it seamless and effortless. Alex whom assisted me in picking out the frames to measuring me for my lens exhibited his expertise in knowledge of the best shape frame based on my personality and shape of my face. I can’t wait to start wearing my new glasses. Thank you Dr. Chad and Alex!

I’ve worn glasses all my life. This is the best eye doctor I’ve been to. The office staff is friendly and caring. And most important, the Dr. understands the holistic view of eye health. I had previously been to urgent care for pink eye….but it came back. When I described to the receptionist what was happening, they got me in within an hour. The doctor truly cared about my eyes getting better. He thoroughly examined my eyes, gave me stronger RX than the urgent care, and gave me a follow up plan if it wasn’t improved in a couple of days. As a plus, the office has the most modern equipment!! I highly recommend this eye dr.

Our whole family sets our eye appointments only with Dr. Chad. Not only is he a people person, he is very VERY good and knowledgeable about what he does. I personally feel like I get a full VIP, thorough exam as he explains in detail (with verbiage I understand) what he’s doing in the exam, the purpose for it and my results. He also provides options depending on my results and lets me choose what I think would be best for me. His office staff is friendly, organized and helpful. Dr. Chad has 3 locations that I know of but I prefer to go to the Castle Rock office as they have the newer testing equipment there.

Truly, as friendly as the most loving family! Very caring, professional, swift, and Precise. The equipment is state of the art and highly admirable.

Dr. Josh is wonderful! He truly listens to your concerns and asks real questions. He is kind and understanding and wants to work with you to find the best solution to your eye issues. A bonus he's great with kids and makes them feel safe and laugh!

From check in to check out my experience was exceptional. Friendly and efficient staff. Dr Goetz was friendly, patient, knowledgeable and gave me a very thorough and comprehensive eye exam. I had a very positive experience and would recommend them without reservation.

Dr Chad made me feel at ease. Answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Felt right at home and did not feel nervous like I usually do when I have an eye exam. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Didn't have to wait long so that was nice. On the whole a very good experience and I think I have found my eye doctor for life!

I super glued my eye shut when I mistook it for my eye drops! I called several eye places, urgent care facilities, and my own eye clinic. No one was open or able to help. My sister called Dr. Nicholson and he got me in. He is not even my doctor! My eye was glued shut for 6 hours before he skillfully removed the glue, along with my lashes, but I couldn’t be more thankful. He is quite possibly the nicest person and my vision hero! I will definitely be switching permanently. Highly recommend!

Dr Joshua Goetz was very professional, kind, and excellent bedside manner and that is coming from a medical person. I commend Dr Goetz for lengthy explanations in everything he did with me, as it made me feel I made the right choice coming to his office. The front office staff were kind, helpful, and very professional. I have to drive 35-45 minutes to see them and it is well worth the drive. Looking forward to my next visit.

Great experience. Very thorough. Also very transparent and proactive about what insurance will and will not cover. We found an eye freckle to monitor to make sure it's not cancer. I recommend opting in to all available forms of tests. Happy to confirm I am not going blind but do need an updated prescription. I am testing it for a few days via a generous sample pack before committing to a longer supply. Fit me in on short notice when I realized I was running out of contacts...

I am a 63-year-old man with all kinds of eye problems. I didn't think anything could be done to fix it. I went to see Chad Nicolson about 1 year ago. He spent so much time with me putting together a plan to improve my eyesight. After surgery and some contact lenses, my eyesight improved dramatically. My golf game improved by 5 strokes! Last week I went back for a check-up, and he is such a perfectionist, he said we can improve it even more. This guy is amazing! I think I can drop another 2 strokes! Thanks Dr. Chad for working so closely with me. I wish all my doctors were like you!

Staff and doctors we very friendly. Their experience and expertise were demonstrated by the use of the high tech equipment. The doctor explained the results in clear and simple to understand language. I would recommend using this location for eye exams for all ages!

Got a same-day appointment at a convenient time. Exam was quick and easy thanks to their state-of-the-art equipment (but not rushed). Optometrist was personable and professional.. Also, while they are conveniently located in LensCrafters, there was no hard-sell to buy.

I just moved to Castle rock and was looking for someone to check my eyes. I came across altitude eyecare and made my appointment. After having a full eye exam about a month later I noticed one of my eyes started getting cloudy and had several floating objects. They were able to get me in right away and explain what was happening. After a few more days my eyesight got worse and again they got me in immediately and referred me to a specialist. If they had not gotten me in so quickly and set up an appointment for me to see a specialist my situation could have turned out much worse. They were very professional very helpful and I recommend them fully!

Dr. Chad is my eye doctor and I went for my annuals. This is the second time in 2 years. Its a total experience with the front desk and the doctor and the whole thing is just great. Its a one stop shop where they order the contact lenses as well. The prediagnostics and the doctor’s examination are top notch. Dr. Chad makes you very comfortable and you feel at home. I strongly recommend.
