Costco is more than just a place to save a ton of money by buying in bulk, it’s almost like a family date. Especially this one in Bountiful, the employees are always kind to our kids, and the pizza and hotdogs are great also. It always feels like we’re going somewhere fun together when we go to Costco LOL You do spend more money at Costco than you will at target or Walmart, but you’ll shop less frequently and spend less money total over the year. Costco invest a lot into the experience of its shoppers, pays its employees better than any other grocery store, and really is a fun place to be. There are sample foods everywhere for you to try things before you buy them being cooked right in front of you, and I always can trust a brand that Costco has chosen to supply, seems like everything I’ve ever bought him from Costco is A trustworthy product that lasts and does what it says it’s going to do.

👎 what happened to the customer service?! I Love Sams Club! Costco employees act like they are doing me a favor! I despise going to Costco because of the snotty employees! They won't allow me to organize my own cart. The teetering flatbed cart spilled all over the parking lot twice! I'm a pro at cart tetris! Get out of my way Costco snots!

My first time at this Costco, I went mid day on a Friday because I always try to avoid Costco when its most busy on evenings and weekends. I was surprised to see the store was very busy but the staff was doing a great job. Checkout line moved very fast and efficiently, food court took a little while but that was to be expected as they had a huge crowd.

I have never had a bad experience at Costco until today! I used the self check out and bought some sweet rolls and apple strudel. There was a sign of 2 for 11 where I grabbed the sweet rolls, apparently they were in the wrong place. Trying to check out I asked the very rude employee where the UPC code was, she grabbed them and said you need 2 so I showed her the strudel, she told me how wrong I was and chastised me, even after I explained they were in the same area. She turned and walked over to another rude and very unprofessional employee, who looked like some sort of supervisor, they both stood there and laughed because I became upset after being treated so rudely and unprofessional. Neither employee offered a solution, they just stood there giggling and whispering! I use to shop here all the time because of the exceptionally helpful and friendly customer service. I am aware of staff shortages everywhere however as a customer shopping at your store the staff need to be aware shoppers like me pay their salaries! I will be looking at the Sam's club memberships in the morning, I will also be letting all my friends and family know how your staff are now allowed to treat customers

I feel like a one percenter when I flash my membership card and give a little head tilt to the security personnel guarding the front entrance. Oh yeah I have just walked into this first world mega store! It's impossible not to indulge your deepest temptations and casually fill 3 or 4 shopping carts with household staples and family reunion sized food conglomerations. I can only imagine that this is what an abandoned kid in a candy store would feel like. Growing up in magna I had nothing of this sort! I have made quick trips for a few items, (bbq prep) and come home with $900 worth of storage containers and life jackets for my entire extended family. Family reunion here I come! Even when I have no money left in my wallet I come to fill up on samples, rarely have I had to push someone out of the way to get the last skewered tortilini. When I get seconds on the samples I just act like I'm at a cocktail party and try not to make eye contact with the server. It pays great dividends to be a member of this club. One time after store closing an associate joined me in the castle that I had built in the toilet paper section and we shared a moment relaxing on the soft cushioned packages. Does Costco have it? Yes! And if you can't find it you don't really need it.

Costco has the worst customer service. My husband lost his wallet and accidently reported my membership card as the lost/stolen one. When I walked into customer service confused why my card wasn't working, they started accusing me of stealing the card! The funny and sad part is, they clearly lacked any intelligence to verify my identity via ID or just take a look at the photo on the card. It was clearly me. After that experience I refuse to shop there. They are overrated and overpriced. They'll treat you like dirt at customer service if you ever need anything.

Hard to find things at first. Fair pricing. Only have large packages. Great savings for families. You have to have a membership to get in and shop. It cost about $50.00 per year. No one can use your card. You can get 2 cards for more money.

Love my Costco. Love that there are real people checking and helping to box up my items. Costco employees are always so much better, faster, happier than that other big box store. Yep, love my Costco and all the quality items and service!

They no longer let you stand inside at the returns desk but instead they have the line going out into the entry where the carts are and it's freezing cuz those huge doors are open. If you come to do returns, bundle up. Other than that Costco was Costco. Except, the food court...the soda pop machine was out of order and not enough tables, many were standing to eat.

The Costco in Bountiful has always had very helpful staff and is usually not too crowded. You do need a membership to enter the store.

This review is for the tire service. I was the first person in line for a walk in appointment. I was told rotating my tires would be fast since I was the first person of the day and it would take less than an hour. They pulled my car into the bay. Later they pulled it out. After an hour and a half I asked if my car was done. They said they had to do other cars before mine but mine would be done soon. After 2.5 hours I asked again why my car wasn't done. 3 other people were in line and mad that they were taking so long. I was told my car was next. After 3.5 hours my car was finally done. I don't mind a stand by appointment taking 8 hours, but tell me that. Or tell me you don't know. But don't tell me it will be a half hour and then I wait there for 3.5 hours. Had I known it was going to take awhile I would have gotten a ride home. Don't tell people service times that are not at all what they are.

It is a large place, and many of the products are oversized and heavy, but I find it saves me money to shop this way in bulk. The products are good quality. I have not been disappointed in the Costco brand products. They have a great bakery. The meat is reasonably priced and good quality. The only negative I have found so far is when shopping for my pet cat. They have a very small selection. Although they have a great price on scoopable litter. They do have a better price on gas than most places. But I prefer to buy my gas at harmons because with my foodie club cars I get a 1.00 off. One of the best deals Costco has is their rotisserie chickens. 4.99 and the ones I have gotten are cooked to perfection. I always grab 2 so I can give one to my son abd his wife. It's an incredible deal.

Who told everyone about Bountiful Costco on Sundays? It used to be the ultimate costco visit with little to no crowd 8 years ago! Now, it's crazy Costco! But still Costco, which is always good.

The goods are always on point. They gave me grief because I had my wife's card and they claim I'm not a member. Of course they let me finish shopping. For real you gave someone the job to annoy everyone. If im a member and I need someone to go there for me it shouldn't be a problem.

Costco in Bountiful is a nice place to shop and carries the normal Costco merchandise of the area. We go here for quick visits and see if they are running any special sales. Lines move fast at checkout. The food court is normal. The exit to drive is sometimes backed up from the parking lot as it is not well designed for the area but that is also not Costco's fault.

This is a busy Costco... I think it's because it's the most northern one in the Salt Lake metro area (next one is in Logan, about an hour further north), so this one gets a ton of people coming to it. It's not bad, it's a normal Costco, but I deducted a star because of how busy it is. Parking sucks too, for the same reason.

Corporate T-Mobile at this Costco is AMAZING! The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. I even got free Costco Gift Cards coming to me for switching carriers!

Saturdays are the busiest in Utah. Avoid them when you can. The Kirkland signature products are always good. The Costco in Bountiful is smaller than most, so they can be out of items before other locations, but they do the best they can.

The fruit is the worst fruit quality I've ever seen. These bananas are 2 weeks old. They never ripened. They just became a weird, stale, green thing. The seedless grapes are also inedible without breaking a tooth on giant seeds that are abundant in every grape. Apples are mushy...I could go on.

The employees are always so kind. We love shopping for everything at Costco. And the hotdog and a soda deal on the way out has become a tradition.

Costco is a typical corporate America company that hires you for one job but you end up doing 5 different jobs !! I lasted 2 months on my last night they had me cleaning and scrubbing baseboards In the break room and cleaning walls I had originally given my one week notice but after this I decided to quit the next day !! Shout out to Javier!! And Sara Michael the red vest crew and Marc the assistant G M !! Kevin the front end supervisor needs to work on his work ethic towards others

Costco is the best, there is nothing you can say or do to change my mind. I mean, what other large corporation has made such a strong commitment to not selling products that were created with monkey labor. Look it up.

I came here for a tire installation appointment. They were quick to get to me and the church in process was really easy. While I was here I decided to get my physical card and Mac was very patient and helpful through the whole process. She was also willing to try to help find answers about problems I was having with the app. It was Saturday and the crowds were what you'd expect, but everything still seemed to move fairly smooth. When it came time to pick up my car, the technician was very thorough about follow-up visits and maintenance and provided detailed care instructions.

If you live around the Layton area and are torn between this and Ogden, well I personally choose this location. Specifically for the fact the posting lot doesn't make me want to have a panic attack unlike in Ogden. Bountiful Costco for the win.

Went in to see their selection of drines, lucky me the only one they carried at the store was the one I was looking at. Pice was about $100 cheaper than anywhere else I looked. Will always purchase items from Costco rather than online.

The Costco experience is just a delight. The employees seem to enjoy their job, I’m feeding a family and love the savings from buying in larger quantities.

Picked up a couple of fire extinguishers for the trailer/house and a large size high visibility rain suit. Great price. Not busy between five and six on a Sunday.

I mean it's a warehouse store... It's good. Nothing ever really disappoints in terms of quality. Their selection is a little limited but with Costcos in the past I have been able to request things and they get it in stock pretty quick. Especially if it's on the site. Amazing return policy too. So even if I dont like something, which rarely happens, I can get my money back.

I don't appreciate that the ladies who keep tge merchandise tidy always make me feel that I shouldn't be looking for my size under all the rest. It makes me feel that I shouldn't be at your store. But when I look up they are keeping their eyes on me only. To the other white customers they are pretty nice. Today was not my BEST experience 😪.

Costco is a good place to get Groceries and Gas for a more affordable price. If you know Sam's club it's pretty much the same thing. They have bulk foods and other items including clothes, laundry detergent and others. You do need a membership to shop here so be prepared for that. You have to show your card when you come in and use it at checkout.
