Had lunch at the Pit Pony Tavern today in Collinsville. Such a nice friendly place. Very clean and tidy, the Bistro was lovely. We had a great meal “The Bentley’ chicken meal was so yum. Friendly staff, will certainly return.

Good tidy rooms. Spacious. It has microwave, water kettle and free coffee, tea and milk. Staff were friendly. Affordable food and big servings. Has a betting room and pokies as well inside the pub. Cozy environment.

Good sized lunchtime meals. Tasty fare. Very much value for money and recommend without hesitation. Staff efficient, professional and friendly. Toilet facilities A1.

Staff after 7pm seem rude and everything is a hassle. Little sad that the meals were great but after a few bad experiences with their staff I’m not sure I’ll go back again.

Tavern in the front, restaurant at the back. Food servings are large, service attentive, reasonable prices and food delivered quickly. A well managed operation.

Has lunch meal here, great value fast friendly service. Interesting put pony memribelia.

On our annual BMOA Mackay motorcycle ride to Bowen the Pit Pony is our stopover.

Stopped for lunch and had the Pit Pony burger. It was excellent $18 We also ordered off the $12 menu and had the crumbed steak and the lunch steak. This was one of the most tender and tasty steaks we've had in years. Highly recommend 👌
