Came to Fiola for my birthday and we had a blast! We opted for the 9 course meal and everything was delicious. My only 2 negatives was 1) they had us facing 2 other tables while sitting next to each other it felt awkward because you don't really know where to look without feeling like you're staring at others and 2) they said they would wrap up my dessert to go and didn't. I'm sure it was a mistake but I was really sad that I didn't get to eat my dessert especially after paying as much as we did.

Without a doubt the best meal I've ever had. I went a couple of years ago while in DC for a conference. I had some sort of prefixed chef's tasting menu that had 7 or 8 courses, all paired with wine. it was amazing and I can't wait to go back. The first course was almost too much for me to try. I usually don't eat raw meat, and the first course was a raw oyster topped with wagyu beef tartare, then topped again with caviar. While I was not used to the texture, the flavor was absolute art. The seafood, meat, sides, sauces, all the way to the garnish was all masterful and delicious. It took several people to create, present, and deliver the meal to the table. It was like watching a show unfold. The server was very knowledgeable about everything served and we were lucky he was also a sommelier. This made it even more interesting as he presented the wine that was served with each course. I can't recommend this place enough. It was just honored as the #2 Italian restaurant in the world that's outside of Italy. Do yourself a favor and go ready to spend whatever it takes to get the full experience.

If I could give ten stars, I would. Truly deserving of the Michelin Star. We did the traditional tasting and it was perfect. The opening amuse bouche, which was a full spectrum of gustatory delights, was paired with an incredible Barone Pizzini 'Golf 1927' Blanc de Blanc, that mysteriously kept getting refilled. After the course, explanation, and great conversation with staff and companion at the bar, we were shown to our table where the main event began. The pictures tell the tale better than words can. The menu was superbly planned and very summer appropriate. Will update later with more detailed notes on each course. But the biggest delight was Chef stopping by the table to have a word about our experience and thank us for joining them. The whole staff's warm, outgoing, relaxed, and welcoming personalities as well as their overarching passion for food is evident in every aspect of the restaurant. Service was incredible. I'll definitely be back.

Start to finish, a great experience with the tasting menu. But we were not as thrilled with the wine pairing. For $150 each we got 5 maybe 2-3 oz pours. And we were only delighted by one of the wines. But the service was outstanding.

An incredible experience with delicious food, perfect wine to match, and a great experience. We did the tasting menus across almost 3.5 hours. It was delicious. My wife was gluten free yet every single one of her dishes was customized and delicious, even their homemade bread. It’s not cheap but it’s very worth it for the experience and quality of service. Without doubt the nicest meal I have had in the US.

I would give it a 4.5 if I could. Everything about the tasting menu actually tasted pretty good. One of the better Michelins in the DC area. Flavor is on par with NY Michelin restaurants. The mini bites in the beginning tasted really good. The lobster was really good and well cooked. Only issue is the price for the amount of food we got. If only that was more adjusted and reasonable, it would've been perfect. But all-in-all great food and service.

Outstanding evening to celebrate an anniversary. From entering to leaving, we were treated so well by everyone. I can’t thank the team at Fiola enough for the extra little treats they provided as well. Highlights: amazing manhattan and I’m still thinking about those desserts over a month later. I would not hesitate to get the chefs menu again

Stepping into Fiola is stepping into refined and elegant world. Every detail in this place oozes with taste, warmth and elegance. The menu is rather limited but the dishes are carefully and artistically made. Mason our waiter was amazing. Thank you for a pricy yet wonderful experience.

Best staff anywhere. Most of the courses were perfectly balanced. The peach and heirloom tomato gazpacho was my favorite.

Absolutely delightful celebration of spring. Fiola focuses heavily on local and seasonal produce, highlighting their selections in their written and spoken descriptions. The yurt was beautifully adorned, with good heating and options for ventilation, and came with its own little speaker, playing tasteful international music. Overall, we loved the atmosphere and the stunning diversity of the courses. Presentation of the dishes was clearly important to the chefs, truly eye candy when it arrives. The service was excellent and I was delighted to be offered a complementary dessert, based on the occasion we were celebrating. While we were impressed with most of the dishes, some fell short of excellence. Winners: the amouse bouche, seafood broth spaghetti antipasto, calabrian chili gremolata, au jus served in a burnt onion Less satisfied: dry/firm entree meats, a tiramisu whose chocolateyness was much too overpowering (despite its otherwise fun and novel style choices)

The yurt experience was beautiful. The design of the dishes, taste, and presentation were all creative and thoughtful. Also the portion sizes are very generous. The food itself was good, not amazing considering the price. But consider everything it’s worth the ticket. My favorite part was the pasta, mind-blowing. Not so impressed with my pork chop entry. The chickpea part was amazing, the pork itself was a bit boring.

It's the best Italian restaurant in the DMV. Every dish is perfect. Definitely try the scampi, steak, Branzino, tortellini or the risotto. Can't go wrong with any of the dessert choices.

Great price to park all day. Large SUV parked easily in long spaces. Very convenient to National Mall, Capitol, National Gallery.

I have no words to describe the level of satisfaction from my incredible visit at Fiola. What I do know, is that I would absolutely visit once a week if I could. Each course of their tasting menu was incredibly manicured, beautiful, and most importantly...delicious. Under no circumstances come into Fiola expecting your traditional "Olive Garden" experience as you will be sorely disappointed. Each and every bite was like listening to your favorite symphony, observing each brush stroke of your favorite painting, or staring deep into the night sky and counting the stars. As I told some of the incredible staff that curated the journey for me, Fiola is not worthy of their single Michelin star -- they are worthy of all three.

Fiola was the best and my favourite dining experience in Washington dc. Food inspiring, service incredible, wine superb. If you get the chance, then yes, go, you won't forget it.

The service was terrific. The food was creative and enjoyable. The 5 course traditional meal was effectively 7 courses with an extra potato and lentils dish that was lovely, along with a perfect citrus palette cleanser. The meal was so rich and satisfying, despite small serving sizes, that I had to take home some of the food. And despite the rather high price, in the end I felt that I got my money's worth with all the lovely little touches and unexpected extras.

Couldn’t have been better!!! The food, the wine, the service, it was all incredible. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and would consider it a bucket list restaurant. Highly recommend! The photo is from the pre appetizer course of the 5 course meal. They had large portions to where we needed a to-go box on the dessert. So much fresh flavor and meals that were very well balanced. I highly recommend the 5 course meal sourced by the chef because it was a whole experience unlike any other.

We had the Il Viaggio “The Journey” experience for our anniversary this past weekend and it was amazing! When we received our first plate, my husband looked at me and said he wasn't going to be able to get full; however, that was not the case at all. We ended up having to take a doggy bag with us because we were so full. There was so much goodness in every dish that words cannot describe them. Wonderful experience!

Was closed and didn't open till 2pm. Not good if arriving in the morning for an event. Go to the beautiful Willard who has a parking garage for $20 till 5pm.

Beautiful house. Very fancy. Not very friendly, though. I knocked on the front door, but they didn't let me in! Guys on roof with guns. Maybe next time. 😆

Absolutely incredible experience. I have a tradition of eating Italian food for my birthday as it is one of my favorite cuisines. I am so glad I decided to have my birthday dinner at Fiola! It was perfect. To begin, when I arrived they were playing jazz specifically Nancy Wilson so I was already impressed. The music, atmosphere, drinks, service and food were consistent with one another. Incredible is the only word to describe it. Jacob took care of my table and he was amazing. I loved how knowledgeable he was of all the courses and wines. He gave in depth descriptions of our food as well as interesting facts about the wines. Jacob and team, thank you for an incredible birthday dinner! I look forward to dining with you all again and trying your next 9 course. Amazing.

Wow, mind blown about everything here. If you’re ever in D.C., make sure you bookmark this restaurant! We came for a weekend conference and decided to drop by here. Glad we were able to snag one of the few available resos for a later dinner service. You have to put down a deposit during your booking which will be refunded once you arrive. We opted for a la carte as we had a late dinner but made sure to pick some of the popular items to try. Highly recommend arriving early for drinks and the bar before moving to your table. Ambience and service is expected of a Michelin star. You will have a fantastic time guaranteed. Make sure you save room for dessert if you have a sweet tooth.

We went to Fiola in celebration of the new year & the chef’s tasting menu was superb, more than deserving of a Michelin Star. The staff seamlessly worked together to deliver a memorable experience due to their attention to details & knowledge of how the dishes are prepared/sourced. Fiola has a great ambiance & is a wonderful choice for special occasions if you’re seeking fine dining!

So far the best michelin tried in the DMV area. From making modifications to my large party to the modification for me of no sheep's milks, which ended up modifying multiple courses, this restaurant was above accommodatable and amazing. First I'd have to give a shout out to the management staff, Sarah S was so helpful and nice and has a great demeanor, and Giuseppe was also amazing and assisted us with ending our bills and making white truffle recommendations. We tried the 9 course option which everyone raved about. 1 felt if we went for the 5 course, maybe it would have been a different experience and a few did not like the citrus flavor for the lobster entree meal, but every other course was so amazing. I'd recommend for sure to add on the white truffle and gnocchi pasta course as it was the highlight of everyone's night, as was the tiramisu. Definitely a place to visit again (this being said by someone who doesn't normally eat Italian food either!). Thank you Fiola!

THANK YOU Fiola for making my birthday so lovely and special! An experience and memories I’ll always cherish! THE MOST amazing food, you simply have to stop here while in DC. Wonderful service from the moment you walk in. Our server, Mason, was highly knowledgeable about the wine list and very personable as well. Each course was beautifully crafted, it’s clear how much work and dedication went into each and every aspect of dinner. Thank you again Chef Fabio and the entire Fiola team!

The best dining experience ever. Full stop, all around, you will not find another restaurant experience as engaging, personal, or high quality as Fiola at this location. Gannon, our primary server, was amazing - attention to detail above and beyond any attempted comparison. Little details like bringing my wife a glass of bourbon cherries because she loved the taste, to making our friend a non-alcoholic mint-lime sparking water when finding out that she didn’t drink alcohol - Gannon hit all the details. The food quality and experience both lived up to the Michelin star standard and our group was blown away by this culinary experience. If you have a special event and want food quality above all else and service that you’ll never experience anywhere else - go to Fiola. A truly fine dining experience at the highest level.

Dinner here was exceptional. Service staff was amazing. We did the harvest menu where you get to pick 4 items yourself and the chef picks the others for you. We had not one complaint. Every dish was delicious. Some of our favorites were the Eggplant Mousse, Langoustine, Childhood(Pasta), Farmers Steak(Wagyu)& the Sweet Beginnings(Pumpkin Spice "Latte," Honeynut Squash Gelato). It felt like by the end of the night we must of had 15+ dishes. Oh and the cocktails! Such an experience. Highly recommend ordering their specialty cocktails. It is like nothing you’ve experience before! Super creative & fun. Needless to say, you definitely get your moneys worth and will not leave hungry or unhappy. It was an amazing experience and we can’t wait to go back next time we’re in D.C.!
