As
a
Texan
I'm
going
to
review
each
item
individually
because
I
feel
like
that's
the
only
fair
thing
to
do
here:
Texas
Double
Decker:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The
carolina
pulled
pork
and
brisket
were
both
amazing!
The
meat
was
cooked
to
perfection,
and
exactly
how
it
should
be.
Brisket
Sandwich
on
Texas
toast:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
(not
pictured)
The
bread
was
amazing,
the
meat
was
juicy
and
warm,
despite
getting
it
as
take
out!
The
barbecue
sauce,
my
husband
got
for
me
was
phenomenal
and
only
made
it
better!
COWBOY
BURGER:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So
the
Cowboy
Burger's
beef
patty
was
decently
flavored
but
was
over
done.
While
I
did
ask
for
it
to
be
well
done
I
do
think
it
is
possible
to
make
a
burger
safe
to
eat
without
being
dry.
The
bacon
was
literally
perfect.
The
rest
of
the
burger;
ham,
cheddar,
lettuce
were
perfectly
adequate.
Hush
Puppies:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️crunchy
on
the
outside,
moist
and
chewy
on
the
inside,
everything
a
hush
puppy
should
be!
My
husband
and
I
ended
up
fighting
over
them!
Texas
Tater
Skins:
NEGATIVE
1000
stars!!!!
These
were
both
disgusting
and
an
insult
to
everyone
from
Texas.
For
those
wondering
what
"Texas
tater
skins"
are
(because
there's
no
description)
essentially
a
half
of
a
baked
potato
covered
in
non-Texas
chili,
cheese,
bacon
bits
and
more.
…
my
biggest
complaint
with
these
is
that
they
had
the
audacity
to
name
them
Texas
tater
skins
while
covering
them
with
aggressively
anti-Texas
chili.
Everyone
knows
that
Texans
do
not
like
beans
on
their
chili!
Not
only
were
there
beans
in
this
chili,
but
it
was
more
bean
than
chili!
In
Texas
we
have
a
saying
"If
you
know
beans
about
chili,
you
know
chili
ain't
got
no
beans."
In
Texas,
"chili"
is
shorthand
for
chile
con
carne,
which
translates
to
"chile
peppers
with
meat."
and
it
is
an
insult
to
us
to
put
beans
in
our
chili.
Change
the
name
or
change
the
dish!
Sincerely,
I
freaking
miss
Texas.....
