Consistantly the best bbq ribs in Maryland and DC and Northern Virginia and the best brisket too. These guys are competition bbqers and have won state campionships as well as placing in the Royal Competition in Kansas City. I dont think there is anyone else as committed to bbq as Texas Ribs and bbq! I see these articles in the Washington Post about these chefs that are self proclaimed bbqers and they are gone in a year doing something else! This is the real deal and if you love bbq and haven’t been shame on you!

As a Texan I'm going to review each item individually because I feel like that's the only fair thing to do here: Texas Double Decker: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The carolina pulled pork and brisket were both amazing! The meat was cooked to perfection, and exactly how it should be. Brisket Sandwich on Texas toast: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (not pictured) The bread was amazing, the meat was juicy and warm, despite getting it as take out! The barbecue sauce, my husband got for me was phenomenal and only made it better! COWBOY BURGER: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So the Cowboy Burger's beef patty was decently flavored but was over done. While I did ask for it to be well done I do think it is possible to make a burger safe to eat without being dry. The bacon was literally perfect. The rest of the burger; ham, cheddar, lettuce were perfectly adequate. Hush Puppies: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️crunchy on the outside, moist and chewy on the inside, everything a hush puppy should be! My husband and I ended up fighting over them! Texas Tater Skins: NEGATIVE 1000 stars!!!! These were both disgusting and an insult to everyone from Texas. For those wondering what "Texas tater skins" are (because there's no description) essentially a half of a baked potato covered in non-Texas chili, cheese, bacon bits and more. … my biggest complaint with these is that they had the audacity to name them Texas tater skins while covering them with aggressively anti-Texas chili. Everyone knows that Texans do not like beans on their chili! Not only were there beans in this chili, but it was more bean than chili! In Texas we have a saying "If you know beans about chili, you know chili ain't got no beans." In Texas, "chili" is shorthand for chile con carne, which translates to "chile peppers with meat." and it is an insult to us to put beans in our chili. Change the name or change the dish! Sincerely, I freaking miss Texas.....

This is a small place with a bit of a cabin feel. Plenty of customers. Great chicken and fries. The baked beans have hot did in them. Decent price for the quantity 👌🏾

Here from out of town for a few days and the concierge at the hotel recommended this place. I have to say it didn't disappoint. One of their specials today was the triple-decker. It has brisket, beef and bacon on a bun. Wow was it amazing. Then I also got a cowboy burger. It has a burger patty, ham, and bacon with cheese. I got American cheese. It was also delicious. I only finished half of each sandwich. The fries where crisp and good. The baked beans where also good. I added more of the mild BBQ to add a tad more kick for me. They're sauces are homemade. The mild I think was the best. The sweet one is good also. They have a Bourbon sausage that's amazing but it's costs to get it. Overall I will be back again. The person at the next table had the chicken and sausage gumbo and they said it was really good. Almost forgot. The hush puppies with the fresh hot butter or absolutely to die for.

We got the sampler and a pulled pork and brisket sandwich. Meats were tender and the sides were really good. Mac and cheese and green beans were very flavorful. Quick and friendly service. We will definitely go back!

Service was good. Brisket with no flavor or bark and was tough. Please get back to basics & watch some Meat Church, Chud’s, KosmoQ,etc YouTube videos. It would be a shame if this place shut down…

I hadn’t been to this spot in about 16 years. It was a familiar home spot for a retired veteran looking for memories before the world changed. The only disappointment i had was the change of the Caesar dressing but the salad was still amazing and Krissy made sure she made up for it. I was saddened to see her work so hard and a table full of my fellow active duty veterans had over a $200 check and only left her $7. I tried to make up for it Krissy but i promise Im coming back. The atmosphere was enjoyable overall and welcoming and safe for a single mom and her kids to rest while stopping by. I’m so glad that the people in there were so nice to my kids and one gentlemen even let him sit in his Bentley to take pics with his medals. Overall win for the family and community spirit I remembered and 10 stars for the food which is always amazing!! We had the pulled pork and shredded chicken salad(keto friendly) grilled cheese and fries with the yummy BBQ sauce. Full reviews on my socials. #troubledwoman

Food was plentiful and very tasty. But the service was lacking. The lady was sweet but was the only 1 serving. And she had the gift of gab she talked to the customers at length as my sugar dropped. And when we finally did get to order my wife got a sweet. But the waitress brought her refill as a diet coke. And it wasn't the lady's fault she was very elderly management should of had her sum help. But their wasn't too much business for her to handle on her own but she could of used help

This place is amazing. The service and the food is amazing! We have been here maybe 4 times so far and everytime we go the vibe is very homie. We got the ribs, mac and cheese and collar greens which were all very good. The last time we went we got the baked hard chicken and it was so good! Moist and huge!! The drinks are good and the shots seem like 2. I love this place!

We were seated right away. Our server came very quickly and was very kind and helpful! We shared the chicken fried chicken and got extra potatoes. I included a photo of just half of the order. We bought a side salad. The food came quite quickly, and it was extremely tasty. Plenty of food for both of us to be full! Great, great ambience. Great service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a local BBQ spot in Clinton, MD called "Texas Ribs & BBQ". This BBQ spot can be found off of Old Branch Ave. They serve your standard BBQ items such as collard greens, corn on the cob, pulled pork, ribs etc. Unfortunately the collard greens were out when I went. I tried two appetizers onion rings and loaded potato skins. The onion rings were decent and the potato skins were loaded with bacon bit, chilli and cheese which tasted GREAT. My main meal was a sliced brisket sandwich with sides of potato salad and corn on the cob. The Brisket sandwich had decent flavor with a good smoke ring ;however, the meat was dry and not juicy. The potato salad was on the bland side as it needed more seasoning to have a more southern authentic taste. The corn on the cob was spot on and tasted fabulous with a little butter. A worthy mention was the two homemade BBQ sauces which had one spicy and the other one more sweet. I would definitely come back here for BBQ as the place had good service, decent food and it was very clean. I rate this spot 3 out of 5.

Friendly staff, delicious food !! Great value for the price. I had the pulled pork platter. The portion of meat was generous and it came with fries, hush puppies, BBQ Beans, and cole slaw. The sweet tea was good too.

Nice, laid back restaurant. Bar service was great, and so was the food but I’m not a fan of the home fries.

I enjoyed this place because every item came out hot and the waitress was very nice. The beef brisket hit the spot with or without the sweet sauce tender. The fried wings were bland but hot. I like the coleslaw, and baked beans had nice flavors. The potato salad bland didn't like the taste. I prefer sweet potato salad. The chicken ribs were flavorful tender and hot. And that's all I need at a barbecue place for the meat to stand out. The sides just depend on how u like it. And for the price, you get plenty of food you gonna have to take home

Good food close to Andrews AFB. Service was great, sweet tea was good. Our table had a little of everything and everyone was pleased. Very quick getting food out once we ordered. I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was tasty but not spicy. Steak fries were good also

Thank you Chrissy for good vibes and experience. The chicken was super crispy but could use more seasonings. Lemon pepper and garlic that thing. Mac is a good texture but same. The ribs were tender and tasty. I suggest the hot bbq sauce. Spicy but you'll live and get flavor too.

This was the first time here and it was very good. The ribs were also good the sauce was very tasty. The brisket was good seasoned well and not dry. The Cole slaw, mac' n cheese and potato salad was good as well. The hush puppies were very good. I will get 3 orders next time. The only thing I didn't like was the thin membrane on the back of the ribs. I wish they would take it off so I'm not pulling it from my teeth. I will be back and I will get all my food again.

Ribs was dry and tough. Not to much seasoning. A little on the expensive side. Side was pretty good.
