WAY to Overpriced! My husband, myself and our two kids all went for 120$! I was thinking it would be miles and miles of lights on the train ride, tons of reindeer, and lots of things to do for the price. When we got on the train ride, it was only about 10 minutes! Then we were dropped off to walk to the reindeer and there was only ONE reindeer. Last but not least was a building with concessions and 1 pic with Santa (20-30$) Not worth the money! We were in and out, in about 20 minutes. For a few more dollars we could have went to Gaylord ICE.

Went opening night this year with my family and overall it was just OK. It was lightly drizzling, but they opened 20 minutes late with no communication from the staff. On opening night you should have your stuff together. As far as the train ride, it’s about 12 min long, but @ $20/each tix are very overpriced. Probably 1/4 of the lights weren’t functioning, the reindeer wasn’t out and the whole experience was extremely unorganized. Maybe they were having a rough start, but it was mediocre enough for us to likely never return or be able to recommend this place to others.

Fun family holiday activity. Lots of lights and decorations. Favorite Christmas characters including the grinch, snowman, and Santa are here. Best way to see the lights is the train ride. Overall a neat place. Each year they make improvements and the experience gets better. Only criticism is it’s a bit pricey in my opinion. Definitely fun and worth the outing.

Great place to take the kids or grandkids. My husband and I enjoyed it too. They have a train ride through lots of great Christmas scenes

Went the day after Christmas. Lights were nice, but the pavilion afterward was incredible!! Plenty of photo opportunities, a red and green gas fire pit, a cookie decorating station, station to write letters to Santa, jot cocoa for sale, and 2 beautiful reindeer!! The workers were so kind and very educational about the reindeer. Highly recommend this gem!!

It was not worth $40. The lights were old and some where not even working. Then to take a picture with the grinch you have to pay $15 dollars and take the picture yourself and the Santa clause is a joke he has no beard and just to even get to the place to see the rain deer and Santa and the grinch you have to walk through the woods with hardly any lights. Definitely do not recommend bringing a baby stroller because it’s impossible to walk in the woods and rocks with it.

This place is pretty neat. We went years ago when you drove your own car through the lights, and the train is a MUCH better way to do it. You can easily spend an hour there if you take your time. This is a great alternative to ICE because it's closer for folks in KY, and it's cheaper.

We had a great time at Santa’s Lookout. Our son LOVED the train ride. That’s way more fun than driving through somewhere. The reindeer was super friendly and cute…Also gotta say the Santa background was great and he was fantastic with the kids. Santa was Bouncing babies and helping big kids with poses without just telling them what to do. He made it fun. ❤️ Our son is autistic and Santa asked “Do you want to hold my hand? Oh put the other one in my hand too.” the one with the hands on his face turned out to be our favorite but his interaction with him was nothing short of amazing. I would recommend wearing boots. You’ll be walking around outside. Not required but I was glad I had mine on.

Brought the family up, the new Christmas train was so fun my 2 year old grandson loved it. The characters were great and showed him a lot of attention and the Santa was wonderful. This is our new family tradition. Thanks Santa’s Lookout for a fun night.

After spending the evening at Santa’s lookout here’s my opinion: myself, my husband and my 3 year old enjoyed the lookout express train ride but feel it is truly overpriced 12.00 PP seems like a better price point. When booking the time slot it gives you a window of time for example 6:40-7:00 we entered at 6:50 and she informed us we missed our train who promptly left at 6:40 and had to wait for a 7:40 train when there was another spot available it was a little misleading. WEAR BOOTS there is so much mud after recent rains. Good one time experience most likely would not return unless the price is lowered.

This was our families first time there but it definitely won’t be our last Our granddaughters seven and six loved it! They are already asking if we can go back next year! And we having so much fun we forgot to pick up our picture with Santa and the staff was so willing to send it to us in the mail!

We went here on a whim and drove 2 hours. It was worth the drive and the money. my kids ages 3,8 & 13 loved it. The characters and Santa are friendly and very interactive. Staff was friendly. It’s a great atmosphere and really gives you more than just viewing Christmas lights. It’s an entire Christmas experience. We also enjoyed the train. I’m glad we went.
