Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and easy access to downtown Madison. Only complaints bed was a little bouncy for me, and would prefer breakfast to be served a little earlier. The other factors more than superceded those issues and I would highly recommend this place for your travels to Madison

We visited for a fundraising event. It was our first visit. The facilities we saw are wonderful. The buffet lunch was great. The staff were nice. The location is beautiful. It's close to historic Madison IN. We had a good time.

This is the most comfortable we have ever been away from home. Beyond the amazing accommodations with beautiful decor is a staff that makes you feel so welcome. The breakfast was better than most restaurants. We stayed in one of the Mountain View cabins and cannot wait to come back.

You will love having your wedding weekend here! Can't forget to mention - they have the most adorable cats that roam the property and will sometimes let you pet them if you're lucky lol.

We had our perfect fall wedding here last October, and not only was Richwood the best decision we have ever made, but the crew at Richwood also made sure it was the best day of our lives without a single hiccup! There is simply no other venue where you can invite your friends and family to get away from it all for a magical wedding weekend with you. Richwood on the River truly has it all. Colleen, Kelsey and crew have absolutely perfected the wedding planning process and they were open and available every step of the way. We recently held our wedding at Richwood and we couldn’t have possibly been more pleased. The staff made us and all of our guests feel at home. There wasn’t a worry we had they weren’t able to quickly remedy. We booked the entire facility for 3 nights during the week and had guests staying the entire time. We were all made to feel comfortable and had one of the most amazing times of our lives. I have and will continue to recommend Richwood with full confidence to anyone searching for a wedding venue or just a couple nights away in a beautiful location.

My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at Richwood on the River. Kelsey and Colleen were very, very helpful in the planning process and especially helpful during our wedding weekend. I can't say enough great things about those two! Our favorite part about the venue was that our friends and family could stay on the property with us all weekend. It was so much fun being able to celebrate all weekend long. The property is just so beautiful and all of the guest rooms were wonderful as well. I wish we could re-live our weekend here over and over again!

My wife and I stayed at Richwood on the River in the beginning of May during the week. This place was awesome, and all of the staff were very courteous and polite, breakfast was always great. We were looking to stay somewhere close to Clifty Falls (other than the Clifty Inn due to the smokestacks). Colleen is awesome, we had a power outage one evening during our stay and she checked in with us about 5 minutes after it happened to let us know that she had contacted the power company. Her and the team's service make this place top notch. We will stay again if we are anywhere remotely in the area and we recommended it to all of our friends!
