I would give this office ZERO stars if I could. The way this office, the dentists, the assistants handled our visits was careless and business only focused. After my youngest was examined for cavities that needed work, the dentist and staff insisted he needed silver crowns. That the only other available options were removal and fillings which weren’t feasible options for his age. My husband and I spoke with them for over an hour asking for alternatives. We left without agreeing to treatment. The office called us more than once saying he needed to get the work done before it got worse and when our son started having pain, we gave in with the understanding this was our only option. Even with great insurance we had to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket. An assistant said he’d be back with my son during the procedure. Then only a short time later I see him walking around. I asked how my son was doing multiple times and the woman at the desk told me he was good, and eventually took me over to see ‘my son’. The child she showed me was NOT my child. I asked where he was and said I wanted to see him. They said he was on his way out. This office doesn’t permit parents in the room with their children and says it’s because children are more calm without them. Total lies. It’s just so they can manage your child without you and convince them to stop crying before they come out to see you. My son is very vocal and a very good communicator. He came out visibly upset and in tears. We did some research after this appointment, realizing our confidence and trust was misplaced in this office, and found a dentist further away but who offered alternatives to silver crowns (other than those given by this office), WELCOMES parents in the rooms and LISTENS to the children. And cost was hundreds less. I am furious with Carr Pediatric. You KNEW there were alternative options available, but didn’t share because it wouldn’t be with your office. Absolutely ridiculous.

I recently had the pleasure of taking my kids to this incredible pediatric dentist, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I booked the appointment, I was impressed by their outstanding service. The staff was friendly, patient, and went out of their way to accommodate our scheduling needs. One of my initial concerns was the policy of parents not going back with their children during the appointment. However, it became evident that this approach was based on a deep understanding of kids' fears about the dentist. The staff knew exactly how to make my kids feel at ease and engage with them in a way that put their nerves at ease. What truly sets this pediatric dentist apart is their commitment to making children comfortable. They even have a dog on-site, which was a game-changer for my kids, especially for my oldest child, who had a bad dental experience in the past. The presence of the dog made the visit feel more like a fun adventure than a daunting dental appointment. My only regret is not finding them sooner! Thank you Dr. Carr ❤️

Absolutely horrible. Took my child one time, then they stopped taking my insurance so never went back... however, they billed me 1 year and 3 months after services were provided and added many miscellaneous and "interest" fees, on the same day that the statement was sent. They cannot answer to what the fees are for and refuse to take them off. Really fishy stuff going on there. Stay away!

I've taken my kids to Carr Pediatric dentistry for over 10 years. I have 3 kids "graduated" to adult dentists, and 3 more still being seen. I was a bit worried my first time as I wasn't used to not going back with my kids, but it ended up being even better than if I had. My middle son is autistic and everyone interacted well with him. The hygenists and assistants are super great with the kids. The staff have always been super friendly and well organized. Dr. Carr and Dr. Carter are fantastic. I absolutely recommend this dental office to everyone that asks me.

Absolutely amazing experience ..where do I even start my daughter 5 was referred to Dr. Carr for what appeared to be a tooth infection. My daughter was also considered a special case because of her anxiety and lack of letting the previous dentists examine her. When we first called to book a visit they made sure to get my daughter in asap because of severity of the tooth.they did the most thorough questions and gave us a walk through She automatically made my daughter feel at ease comfortable and heard! The service dog was amazing for my kid and was very excited to see. Took the time to explain to me and my daughter what needed to be done and why in a way that was not scary at all also eased my anxieties as a mother. Made sure to take the proper measures so my daughter was not anxious scared or in pain went above and beyond to check on my daughter and to make it very understandable. We ended up needing to make a plan of action to fix my daughters teeth issues and she did so over a comfortable time period for my daughter. Would highly recommend! And my daughter is now saying she wants to be a Dr 😭Thank you !

They’re aware of precious time and how people are busy. It’s hard for me take off work bc of our company and my family’s budget. Very please with Dr. Carter, she told us everything that was recommended and said she can try to get everything done the same day. Kids naturally doesn’t like going to the dentist and having our daughter come back for a follow up treatment will be difficult. Dr. Carter got the job done in one day! The staff made us felt welcome and they were very professional with communicating with our daughter.

I had a change of insurance and my daughter’s dentist was no longer in network. Carr Pediatric Dentistry was so I decided to give them a try. I had a bad feeling when I learned they don’t allow parents in the back but I decided to follow through with the appointment. They took my daughter back and I waited in the waiting area for her. After the visit, while my daughter was still somewhere in the back, I was taken to the office to speak with Dr. Carr. There she proceeded to tell me my daughter had 8 cavities (all but 1 being very small) and they all needed to be filled. We briefly spoke about the option of using silver diamine as an alternative but after they checked my insurance, I was told it wasn’t an option because it wasn’t covered. I was visibly upset and confused. There was no compassion from this dentist or office at all. My daughter was only 5 at the time and I felt putting her through 8 fillings was too much. I decided against their plan and took my daughter back to her previous dentist for a second opinion where I had to pay out of pocket but it was worth it. Parents are 100% allowed back with their child and he gave us the option of the silver diamine and only had to fill one cavity. We felt so much better with this treatment plan. I will never return to Carr Pediatric Dentistry.
