I had a late lunch at Kimel yesterday, which was my first visit. It was really good. The cafe itself is clean and comfortable and the food was very tasty. There are vegan options and the staff were very happy to accommodate me! I had a soya latte, roast vegetable toastie with vegan cheese, and two vegan double chocolate cookies (I took one home for my son). The fact it supports neurodiverse people is a bonus and I will definitely be returning.

Lovely café. Food and coffee are excellent. They do toasties, jackets and a great selection of cakes - try the chocolate and almond slices. Room for about a dozen inside on 5 or 6 tables and more tables outside. It's tucked away on a quiet street so quite a find.

Kimel Cafe is set in a lovely quiet traffic free spot, with an outside seating area and plenty of free parking. Between my children and me we have enjoyed toasted sandwiches, some of the best coffee I've ever tasted, even better (judging by my daughter's reaction!) hot chocolate, great quality ice cream etc. And seriously good prices too! I'll happily recommend the venue to anybody and everybody, because in terms of the quality of experience it really is more than worth the extra few minutes to get there compared with anywhere in the town centre. And all that's even before considering the life-changing benefits to the wonderfully friendly autistic staff who gain so much from the opportunity to gain valuable experience, confidence and life skills working there and serving us all. Definitely a FIVE STAR venue!

So good! I can't even describe how delicious the roasted veg and cheese toastie is. The Turkish lentil soup is stunning - wholesome and beautifully prepared. Everything was prepared with such skill and care. The coffee was lovely too; I'm not an expert but I really enjoyed the beans they use. The atmosphere is lovely - peaceful and relaxing. If I lived in the area, I would come here all the time. And the fact that they support neurpodiverse people is awesome.

Quaint cafe tucked away. Food was good at a decent price. They are doing their part for the planet and the staff are very kind.

Had a lovely lunch today - toasties were great! Also had a cookie and brownie along with some coffee! All brilliantly priced and delicious! Highly recommend 😀

Amazing local independent café with a great outdoor sitting area at the front. Often call in here when out walking with my daughter & friends. Today had an iced cappuccino with a hazelnut shot. Fantastic coffee & great service.

Lovely little cafe, very peaceful location with cute outdoor seating too, friendly service, great coffee and delicious Oreo brownie.

Kimel cafe is such an amazing place. The staff are so friendly, the cakes are absolutely incredible and all homemade and the toasties are just divine. I’ve never left disappointed. It’s such an incredible concept, I will definitely be back ❤️

this cafe is very nice because it is accessible to everyone, quiet inside and out and they have very nice, well priced food and drink. when I went there, they were giving out free flowers to the public. It is also dog and pet friendly.
