A lovely walk with the statue ahead of you as a goal to achieve. Turn around at tip for great view of Windsor Castle.

Great place to get a view of the long walk, Windsor castle, as well as for watching planes taking off from Heathrow. Lots of deer in the park. It's a 15 minute walk from the gate to the statue. (Wish there was even a temporary toilet there somewhere)

100% worth the walk from Windsor. Just do it. Added bonus walking thru the deer park. 2.64 miles each way from Windsor.

This statue is accessible via Windsor Park, which you can access by following the perimeter of Windsor Castle. Be prepared for a walk as it is at least 2.5 miles from your starting point. You might be lucky and spot deers. It is only the statue at the end, with rocks surrounding it to take a break before making the 2.5 mile journey back!

Big statue of George III on a horse, commissioned by his son George IV that sits atop Snow Hill at the far end of the famous 'long walk' in Windsor. The statue is more commonly known as 'The Copper Horse'. The copper horse has been sited on Snow Hill since 1831 and it is well worth the walk as Snow hill offers excellent views back to Windsor castle, with London and Heathrow on the horizon.

Stunning views of the castle and long walk from the top of the hill. The Copper horse is alot bigger than you expect. Deer Park didn't disapoint. Lots of antlers to be seen.

I mean it's a statue on the rocks but I did wonder how they got it up there, back in a day, up that hill.. Views are pretty spectacular, better than from already pretty impressive views when doing the Long Walk.

Great view from the top. Good exercise & fresh air. Bring some food and drink. An umbrella maybe required. No toilets here and remember to take your rubbish with you.
