Authentic Indian food, take away only. Price is reasonable. Food tastes actually north Indian Street food. Manchurian was extremely spicy that was the only bad thing. Other than that very good place to order authentic Punjabi food.

I moved here recently and have never seen a sweet shop like this before, the staff were friendly and helpful. I got a selection of there vegan sweets and they were all delicious! I went back later in the week for there savoury items which were also really delicious. Give them a visit if you’re near by, I live about half an hours walk away and it’s well worth the trip!

My favourite samosas in the world. If I had to choose only one food to eat for the rest of my life it would be jeevans samosas. Also the guy at the shop is the most lovely sweetest person ever. This shop is one of the reasons my mental health is so good. 10000000/10 best ever.

Anyone that gives this place a bad review, you just need to read the names and know why. Place is the closest to home cooking and authentic. Highly recommend the samosas, mum would make thr food very similar. The owners are wonderful people.

Incredible! I've had about a million delicious samosas from Jeevan Sweets before but this was my first full curry takeaway. It did not dissapoint. Fresh, wonderful, varied flavours. And the healthiest, non-greasy curry I've had in a long time. Thanks!

Halwa Puri was disappointed. Although I have read bad reviews but was thinking to give it a go but agreed with the reviewers. Totally waste of money and effort. £7 a portion (I had 4)!! Not value for money at all. Chana and halwa were fine but puris are bad they looked like roti or paratha to me just fried in oil. I would recommend they should go and eat ethnic Halwa Puri and compare their self. Sorry not recommended.

A good hygienic place with many choices. They have wide array of indian vegan selection. They also offer gluten free food. They have recently bumped the prices though, and it is on higher side to my liking.

Very good experience, all the products are delicious

Family run, this isn't just a business, it's an invitation to the food and culture of the Sikh community. Collection only because they have too many customers, you don't really live in Easton untill you've had to walk on the other side of the street because every time you walk past you you can't help but pop in for a bhaji .... Or three. Try the tamarind chutney and the caju rolls.

Everything I've eaten from this shop is delicious and visually stunning. The savouries are tasty and the sweets are every bit as delicious. Highly recommended.

Excellent sweets, Indian snacks and food options which are genuinely Indian and not copied Indian

Not very clean and the tea is no good here definitely prefer chai walla tea more tasty and cooked to perfection. The sweets are also not fresh.

We got sweets, samosas and dahi vada from here. They tasted quite authentic Indian. Price was also reasonable. And even during closing time there were many people placing their orders.

We travelled from Coventry to Bristol , placed an order a day before for collection next day. Staff were very friendly, food was really good. Very tasty, fresh and just amazing to find this place in Bristol. The shop has a great variety of sweets and savouries to my delight. Thank you for the excellent timely service. Will definitely order again on our next visit to Bristol. 10/10

I'll put the caveat in here that Jeevan Sweets looks ugly and is in a bad location, but I felt compelled to give it 5 stars because of it's overwhelming food quality and value for money. If you use it as a takeaway rather than a sit in restaurant, you can enjoy perhaps the best Indian food in town for the price of a trip to McDonalds. They also offer a Tiffin system where you buy the containers once and then cheaply refill it every time. Whether it's for a quick samosa on the go, or a massive get together, I really couldn't recommend Jeevan Sweets more!

  • 5/5 Peter C. 4 years ago on Google
Fantastic samosas worth travelling into town for. We freeze them in bulk but there are so delicious freshly cooked!

Best besan ke laddo .. and other sweets were amazing too. And aunty and uncle (owners) were so kind. I am celiac and they explained me in details about their gluten free food items. Love from ?? to jeevan sweets .

Beautiful people, delicious vegetarian and gluten free, top quality curries and Asian food to eat in or take away, I think it's one of the cleanest tastiest Curry and Asian sweets houses, all made fresh daily on the premises. Unassuming and unpretentious. I Love this place. A bit of a well kept secret until recently

Samoas are always 5 out of 5, the springs rolls are also good. I find if the food is not straight out of the fryer then it can be pretty dry. Tamarind sauce always a winner. Always find the staff to be warm and kind

Since we discovered this shop during lockdown in 2020 we have visited numerous times and the food and snacks are always amazing. The staff are lovely and the food is of great, consistent quality every time. The samosas are absolutely delicious, we travel across Bristol regularly to eat their tasty food

Bought Halwa Puri - Chana and halwa were fine but puris were a bit of disappointment because they were not like traditional puris but like roti or paratha just fried in oil. Not recommended at all !!

Jeevan Sweets is the best Indian sweet shop I've ever been since I relocated. I think it's the only 1 in the South West area. Good quality and value for money. Excellent service. Forever a jeevan sweets fan!!!

  • 5/5 Chris N. 1 year ago on Google
Walking past it's easy to think it's just an Indian sweet shop, but the takeaway food is excellent, easily the best place this side of town. The samosas in the window are almost always still warm from the oven with crisp pastry, it's all vegetarian, and every days there's a different tiffin menu, bring in a tiffin and they'll fill it for about £9.

VERY EXPENSIVE, VERY DISSAPOINTED! You kachori were disgusting, the dhaal inside them were hard and black not sure what you put inside it. The kachori's were hard to swallow, no taste, didn't enjoy it for a moment. Chilli Pakorai were okay, the batter itself was too hard and thick to swallow, didn't like the taste of it, tasted extremely bland. Unfortunately, we had to throw them away, that's how bad they were. Your mix mithai that was on the counter tasted all the same, didn't enjoy eating it. The only positive thing we liked were your Aloo Samosai. Your prices are very expensive, you need to reduce the price down for the locals, as your food in general isn't that special! I would rate it below average. 2/5 is my rating!

  • 4/5 Alan L. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing samosas. Ordered 100 for a works event. I need to try the other items they make. The 4 stars is because I can only comment on the samosas.

  • 5/5 Milan D. 6 months ago on Google
I would definitely recommend Jeevan for curries, sweets, and samosas. One thing you'd want in indian food is consistency, been taking out from over over years, and never have I thought it's different. It's always exactly the same taste. I dont know how, but it's amazing.

The sweets are absolutely delicious. I came in to try some stuff yesterday and the man serving me was very helpful and explained the box sizes plus pricing. If they are different amounts per KG he will just work it out for you so you can try whatever you like! This place is entirely vegetarian and they also serve lots of savoury Indian street/snack foods such as aloo tiki and veg samosa. Really fair prices considering the quality - definitely recommend. (I got milk cake and 4 different Barfi.

Jevans reminded us of our trip to India - pure veg! What a treat. About 10 different types of Paneer dish and so many amazing savoury snacks as well. Particularly happy to have the kalakand sweets again after so long! Will definitely come back - all family were there and so friendly. Top notch

Great selection on Indian Snacks and Sweets. I'm a big fan of their Samosas and Bread pakora. Some of their other snacks are so doughy. So I always stick to the samosas. And the customer service is great too.

  • 5/5 Simran K. 11 months ago on Google
Amazing business and owners! Their samosas are my favourites! They have only Veggie food and all of it is cooked fresh they also provide a wide variety of the typical 'Indian sweets' and are all lovely! I'd recommend their papri chat, butter paneer, chilli paneer, chana bhatura, pakpra and samosas!

  • 4/5 J T. 4 years ago on Google
The various homemade sweets/snacks taste really nice. If Indian/punjabi(only vegetarian/sorry meat lovers)foods are your thing, I am sure you will find something that will satisfy your taste buds. You can either have a takeaway or eat in. Usually quite busy during weekends.

  • 5/5 Camila C. 4 years ago on Google
The BEST samosas in bristol and amazing eat in or takeaway food. Highly recommend the chaat (small but filling street foody plates) menu for a quick lunchtime treat, or grab a few things and share with friends. Sooo delicious, super super affordable and really satisfying. Can't wait to have a proper meal here and try more things. The sweet selection looks fantastic but haven't tried anything yet- clearly busy and poular for a reason though!

  • 5/5 Michael S. 4 years ago on Google
Very authentic south Indian vegetarian cuisine with a lot of vegan options! Perfect for dairy and gluten free diets. It seems to be a family-run restaurant/take-away with a very warm and hearty atmosphere. Clean, down to earth with no frills at all at a good honest price. This is definitely not an up-market place, but absolutely some of the freshest and best quality Indian food in the area with some of the best samosas I have ever eaten, and the corn chapati is incredible!

Have had take away as eaten in here at Jeevans, it's supremely good food. This family run place always offers food full of flavour, great portion sizes, and we always like to try something 'new' which never disappoints. Staff are very friendly and happy, and it's great peering into the kitchen where various family members are gathered and cooking away. I kid you not when I say, there is love in their food! Would recommend to anyone and everyone to visit Jeevans, you will be planning your next trip back before you even left. Oh, and their sweets! Unforgettably tasty.. Run.
