Fresh and delicious food. Their set lunch menu offers wide variety of choices for £9.95 for 2 courses and served up with generous portions. Not many restaurants were opened for lunch in Brick Lane. This one was and it was a good choice. Will definitely come again and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great authentic Bangladeshi cuisine. Pretty empty until 8 pm. Gets very busy after that! We loved the Chana appetizer!

Delicious! Owners were very nice, and hot! The looks of the food made my mouth so wet. I was basically drooling on the table. Every bite I tremored. The texture was great meat covered in the best sauce. I was able to taste all the flavors of India tonight and I’ll definitely be back for more🤤

Introduced by this polite guy at the door with complimentary beer & discount. With decent reviews & menu, we tried & was not disappointed. Great food! Decent portion and tasted nice. Friendly & speedy service. Can’t ask for more. Well recommended.

Came here for dinner with friends. Reasonable cost for food and drink. If you ask at door for any deals then you might be tempted in with a special deal - money off etc. Worth an ask. Staff friendly and helpful. Toilet is located down in the basement down some stairs.

Food is terrible, very bland!! Service is quick but not friendly or with a smile! Decor is not bad but doesn't count if the fundamental aspects are poor! Won't be going back or recommending

Myself and my friend visited the Eastern Eye Balti House on the back of positive reviews. We had the popadoms with the accompanying condiments, two starters, two mains, a side dish of Bombay Aloo, two naans and two cobras, the bill was nearly £95, I still left a tip as I believe it is the right thing to do. I'll be honest different parts of the meal were decent and the others were average, the service inside was ok and the guy touting outside was unwelcoming. The reason why I stated the price of the bill was the fact in my opinion the meal and the whole overall experience wasn't worth it.

I had went with my friend and we ordered chicken and mutton biryani. The food had no flavour and the chickens texture was dry and rough.

Tourist trap. The owner offered us amazing food with a 10% discount and even promised, if we didn‘t like, we would not have to pay (we had to, even though it was terrible). We decided to give it a try and were very disappointed. The food didn‘t taste good at all. The rice had a weird aroma and was artifically coloured pinkish, greenish. The vegetable curry contained almost only something like cabbage. The dishes had food staines. The advertised 5* trip advisor-ranking seems off considering our experience and others here.

First time having a curry in Brick Lane, This place was recommended and did not disappoint, Banging curry💥💥 fresh naan and cobra beers. Curry was freshly made and one of the best I've tasted, staff are friendly, service was very good. I will be back here again when in London 👌

Excellent meal, nice table layout for a busy area. Had a wonderful meal for a reasonable price. My only problem is the 12.5% service charge. I prefer to give a tip of my choosing! The staff would have had more than 12.5%.. Their loss.

Absolutely fantastic food. A creative and modern take on classic Indian flavors. I have never had better Indian food in my life. The tasting menu is worth it. He loved seafood dishes. The atmosphere and service are also top notch.

I must say excellent service by the staff in advising what to order. The ambiance was great. The food was good but didn’t like prawns biryani much. Lamb chops was awesome.

This was one of the tastiest curries I've ever had. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were offered 20% off and free drinks, which is why we chose this restaurant. The reason I didn't give five stars is that a service charge of 12.5 per cent was automatically added to our printed bill. This offset some of the saving we had from the 20% discount. I didn't raise it at the time because I didn't want to make a fuss and spoil the occasion. However, I think the menu and staff should make clear whether there is a compulsory additional service charge.

Fantastic spot for a quick business supper during the week. A good atmosphere and friendly staff make this place incredibly welcoming. I travel a lot for work and it’s great to be back on the road, but places like this help you to feel a little welcome and homely when far away from the real thing. Eastern Eye do the basics fantastically well. On top of a generally very tasty meal, possibly the best garlic naan bread and mango chutney I have had for a long time.

I was coming from the gym and I passed by the restaurant.. They had a promotion for the period of lunch time 11.95 one start and one main course. So I decided to try... I choose the vegetable samosas as starter and as main I choose the the mushroom rice with Dall lentil and another vegetable dish... The food was lovely very tasty and the server was also very nice... I will definitely come back to this restaurant to try more dishes... I definitely recommend it!

Very good customer service professional, bright everything you would really want in a restaurant was offered a deal at the door which was to irresistible to let go. Some of the food like the Biriyani wasn’t to my taste due to me being vegan but my fault due to not mentioning to the waiter before Also some of the starters were a little bit dry but other than that I would definitely recommend this place As the other dishes that were ordered were fresh and very tasty
