We walked through Hyde Park on a chilly afternoon and found this charming statue. Lovely lakeside location for a pleasant pre-Disney memorial to eternal childhood. Lots of interesting detail - get up close to inspect it.

My wife and I were taking a sunset evening stroll through Hyde Park when we came across this spectacular statue of Peter Pan! Imagine our surprise and delight as we investigated the statue further and found that the statue speaks of you push a button on the entrance gate! Beautiful bronze with woodland creatures, fairies and of course Wendy! Worth a look if you’re in the area 😃👍

Magic and beautiful! Tucked away it is not immediately obvious where the statue is located unless you are following the lake path. On the lake bath its tucked between trees. The statue is a 'talking statue' if you scan the QR code. Recommend this for the kids and adults alike! It takes you to a link where peter pan himself calls you and discusses the adventures they are up to. This is also a beautiful view of the lake and loads of birds. Add this historical and literary cultural icon to your list for the gardens.

Peter Pan, The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up, who doesn't know him? The world famous character created by Scottish writer J.M. Barrie (1860-1937) has captured our imagination since 1902. A fine and lovely tribute!

A nice spot in the park that doesn’t get too crowded. The statue is nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. There is even a pond right across that is scenic and calming, where one can view the Italian Gardens. Unfortunately, there are no benches or seating nearby.

As someone who loves the story of Peter Pan as well as its author, you will love and enjoy this statue! It is picturesque. The details of the children and fairies are wonderfully made.

Beautiful statue dedicated Peter Pan. The sculpture is amazing, full of details and it almost look like Peter is dancing but the QR Code is a scam 😂😂 does not work at all. Sorry kids 😂😩

A beautiful statue in a beautiful park! There’s a QR code you can scan which lets you have a “phone call” with Peter Pan. It’s quite a long audio actual, about 2 & a half minutes. Very cool little monument for lovers of the story and the phone call would definitely delight small children

Cool statue, you can scan nearby qr code to get the statue talkin'. It takes some time to get to a statue depending on your tube exit station 😊

Just a nice little stop off for the kids but I couldn’t get the sound to work, maybe you’ll have better luck. The statue itself is exquisite with some very fine work done on the characters. You can spend some time trying to name them all. We were here on a beautiful day which was pretty hot so it was nice to be in some shade for a while.
