Great service & delicious food! The BBQ chicken pizza was amazing. Also very much enjoyed the manicotti, cheese bread, fried zucchini, and Greek salad. We had a lactose free person with us and they made a special pizza just for them too. Fried mushrooms are a must! This is quickly becoming one of our weekly go to restaurants.

This place has improved so much, the quality of the food has gotten better. They recently switched to Bacio cheese and it’s absolutely amazing. I don’t know what’s wrong with people writing invalid reviews but I highly recommend this place. If you give it a try for the first time just let them know and you will get phenomenal service. The atmosphere of this restaurant is amazing. The big tv they recently installed in the back is amazing for the sports they stream and the watch parties they host. I couldn’t ask for a better pizza house in Bradenton. It’s amazing to see how successful and how much this business has grown since they opened up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

BEST pizza in town !!! This place is definitely better than the one that was there before. My husband got a Philly Cheese Steak and I got a Large Meat Lovers Pizza. The Cheese Steak was fully loaded and came on a hot sub bun that was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It had tons of meat and just the right amount of mozzarella cheese. I was so busy eating my pizza I forgot to take a picture of it. The pizza was exceptional !! The crust is hand tossed and I asked them to make it a thin crust. It came out perfectly, the crust was crispy on the bottom and despite the fact that it had tons of meat on it, there wasn't a big pool of grease in the center, which usually makes the crust soggy and floppy. The pepperoni has great flavor and they don't over do it on the cheese. The sauce is fantastic also, not too sweet or salty just perfect ! The service was far above average also. We will definitely be back !!!

Saw that someone new has occupied this Bradenton landmark so figured we would give it a try. Service was quite great; super attentive and friendly. Food was fairly meh. Portion size for the price on the fries was stingy, chicken sandwich wasn’t bad, but nothing special and the pizza was ok, but the crust was somewhat bland. We chalked it up to new-opening kinks that hopefully will work themselves out over time. It was a solid 2.5 star visit for us, but we’ll round up in hopes of a better experience next time. This was my first visit since this opened in building that was previously Demetrio's for 46 years. I understand the owner is related to those who operated Demetrio's and I can tell by the great food I had. The service is friendly and the atmosphere nice, and I will definitely be returning. If you are looking for pizza or other Italian care for lunch or dinner, I suggest you give Godson's a try.

This is literally the Godson of the former Demetrio’s and it is a locally owned, family business. All in all it’s pretty good. I tend to like my spaghetti sauce a little sweeter but the food is good and the portions generous. The service is excellent and everything on the menu seems like a very good value. The environment is friendly and welcoming and I’ll be back to try some of their other offerings. The restaurant is closed on Sunday.

There was what was looking like a major problem brewing but the wait staff handled things so well I have no problem recommending Godson's as a top notch place to eat. I had a pizza and it was one of the best in a while for me. I will be back next time I am in town.

CHANGE YOUR OIL 🤮 my wings taste and smell horrific. The pizza was pretty bad too but I mean it’s pizza whatever. The crust was hard as a rock and the rest was soggy. No one will eat it so there goes dinner ugh anyways I saw the reviews and was like oh it’s gotta be good. Idk if these reviews were paid for or if Covid got the best of your taste buds but no this is NOT a 4.6 star pizza place.

White Pizza, Mediterranean Pizza, Cheese Pizza, Stromboli, and Calzone were excellent! Some of the best pizza in town! The fried mushrooms were, by far, the best I've ever had. Godson's is now a favorite go-to place for dinner.

While the pizza has been consistently great during the two years I have been eating it, today I decided to go with the baked manicotti in meat sauce. Wow! No disappointment. The chef really knows his way with southern Italian cooking. Highly recommended. 😋

Been there several times to pickup lunch for the fellas at work for lunchtime on a Saturday. But this last time I went. My sister was in town and she had the craving for spaghetti and since we were heading east on Cortez I told her about this place. Well I had my first sit down be served dinner and it was all around fantastic. My sister is a picky eater and she clean her plate. I have no more to say after witness her clean her plate. All good across the board.
