If I lived here, this would be my neighborhood bar. Seriously-- this place was a fantastic find while on vacation in Tierra Verde. The burgers were fresh and they tasted AMAZING. (I'm from the Midwest so I'm picky about my burgers-- this tasted just like home.) Thick juicy beef, fresh ingredients, and the garlic aoli just pushed it over the top. The beer selection was excellent and the service was fantastic. Not only that but it most definitely didn't break the bank. I was prepared to easily spend TWICE what we did here. There's a great casual vibe that just made me feel at home the minute I walked in. It's safe to say that I'll definitely be back.

Great service and very good food! Everything came out fresh and hot. The burger was excellent, but the stand out for us was the roasted brussel sprouts and the home made kettle chips! The sauce for the ribs was a bit sweet for us but still good. Definitely going back! They've started serving breakfast also.

Yummy!! First I asked the waiter what I should get and she knew what was good and what was popular, always a good sign. I am vegetarian so I got the taco Tuesday brussel sprout tacos that were amazing!! The sauce was superb and the brussel sprouts had a nice crunch to them!! The price was great! The margarita was great! The waiter was super nice and attentive at the right time. We also ordered a side of fries and they were probably the best fries we have had in quite some time. We will definitely be back! Great experience and thank you very much as that is hard to come by any more:)

Not sure what has happened to Jolly Roger’s. I think the lady chef left or something is going on. The food use to be top notch, quality and very tasty. I’ve heard about the ribs but never got them until tonight. HORRIBLE. The JD Sauce tasted awful to be nice. The ribs did fall right off the bone but something wasn’t right with them. Maybe they sat in water all day since 6am or something. The onion straws were cold and almost doughy. Everyone has bad days, yet for $60 for 2 people to eat you want decent food. Jolly Roger’s failed to deliver that tonight. Even the couple sitting next to us, asked what we recommended and we said we have eaten the burgers, meatloaf, chicken and everything has been great. They ordered the burger with bacon and it looked cheap and not fresh. The bacon wasn’t that thick bacon we got a few months back. 2 tables in one night making faces back and forth. They said they were not impressed and would most likely not return. We kind of feel the same. The menu has changed and the food is $10 bar food at best. Bring back the old chef or this place will go under in 6 months.

The burger was excellent. Love that all the items on the menu have pirate themed names. The pirate themed decor was average. Servers were very friendly and accommodating, but we went at an off time so I'm not sure what it's like during peak dining.

A fun place just off the beaten path. Humorous menu of superb selection. Really glad my friends suggested it. I'm a picky eater of buffalo chicken wings and these measure up as first class served with celery and blue cheese. Not to be ignored, try the Capt Mac's meat and cheesy buns. The service from Chris was terrific and we left feeling satisfied and full.

Vibes of a cool neighbor hangout. The staff was extremely friendly. We sat at a high top, which the stools were a tad uncomfortable, but the atmosphere was fun! Food was typical bar food, but I hear the ribs are fall off the bone great. Wednesday’s are trivia night- starts at 6:30 pm. It's free and you can win Jolly Bucks.

Great location heading into Tierra Verde, Fort Desoto, the Marina’s. Good food at a reasonable price. Service is fast and friendly but be patient if they are busy. I would give the service 3 stars but it’s not the servicer’s fault it can get busy and could use extra help

BEST HOMEMADE FOOD AROUND! I would give over five stars if I could. Patrick at the bar whips up the best drinks with awesome service. The food is noticeably homemade and great quality- with good prices. This is probably one of the best places I’ve been too.

Awesome place! But the burger Will change your life! Get the Jolly Burger - Best Burger in Tampa 2022! Make it a QUADRUPLE and really enjoy life!
