Long wait for an over cooked, burger that didn't even cover half the bun. Looked like a chip in my hand. Asked for a manager and he assured me that was a normal burger and tried to explain food cost to me. $10 Ala carte for that was disappointing. Went to hooters instead and got a good burger, twice its size, cooked properly, and with fries for the same cost in half the time.

Our first visit and it was pretty good. Service was good, food came out pretty quick. Wasn’t knock-your-socks-off great, but it’s a solid little place to grab some food. We didn’t do the “+Beer” this trip. We’d come back.

We came here for dinner. There were lots of TVs on the wall with various sporting events playing and the decor was cool. The music was loud so we decided to eat outside. Our server was very pleasant. We got the giant pretzel as an app, which was delicious. For dinner I got the burrito bowl, which was just ok. My friend got the vegan Korean bowl and she liked the impossible meatballs it but said the dish needed a dressing and that it was a little dry. Overall, the food wasn't good enough to make us want to return.

HIDDEN GEM! Been here twice and the food is great, not your usual bar food. Very unique menu, but delicious, the fries are a true standout! Incredibly savory! And the the prices, for the size and the quality is outstanding! Granted, there is no beachy view, but lots of tvs, and it's a very clean place. Noteworthy, we have only had lunches there, so dinner may be different.

Showed up April 22, 2023 around 1:00 PM and plenty of seats available. Super quick service both for drinks and food. The truffle fries seemed a bit soft, versus crispy. Wings and grilled cheese were good.

Went here for the first time last weekend. The food was AMAZING!!!!! The bottomless mimosas were great and the bartender Monica made the best Bloody Mary! I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu. Everything was just great. Great atmosphere too!

I wanted to try something new in the area and this was a hidden gem!. Like a sports bar for the newer generation! Games 9n the tv's everywhere, remind me of back home!!They have a full bar.... and when I mean a full bar they have everything! My server Liv was very very friendly and efficient with getting my food and drinks. I had the mimosa flight and she also recommended the Paloma. Both were definitely up to par. Come and see her! I had the Brussel sprout for my app which the cheese and bacon combo was perfect! The burger was cooked excellent and very favorable! Over all the vibe and atmosphere was very inviting and ill be comin back to catch the football games when they come on!

No matter what we order you seem to mess it up. If the food isn’t over cooked it’s missing ingredients. Your cooks are not expected to care and your expo is poorly trained. You should honestly be ashamed of the prices next to the quality. I’ve complained once months and months ago and you offered me $20 off to come inside and eat. Why would we even bother coming to see what poor service your servers give since your kitchen sucks. This was the last time we give this place a chance. A shame that if they just had work ethics the meals could be great.

I LOVE their Monday special, cheeseburger with fries for only $5.99. I can never eat all of the burger and fries. GREAT deal, clean restaurant and Anihe, the server is AMAZING. She remembers what I order and is always happy!! Nick, the Manager is also AMAZING!! Thanks to the both of them. That is one of the primary reasons I have lunch at Food+Beer on Monday's. Kaitlyn was a true doll being very professional and helpful. Even with minor errors, all were fixed to my satisfaction. I love their Obligatory Chicken Sandwich. I have been to their University Avenue location numerous times and loved it every time. Gave the Bradenton location a chance and enjoyed the experience. My only gripe is the volume of television sets were too loud for me to communicate clearly with Kaitlyn. I will return to the Bradenton location because the food, service, and atmosphere is very good. Keep up the good work!

I visited over the weekend while in town for a lacrosse tournament. We were able to be seated quickly after arriving and ordered drinks and food. Unfortunately, our appetizer came out as the same time as our meal and one in our party had to wait for tots. Service was slow to get drink refills and our check. If we're back in the area, we'll give them another try.

The food, atmosphere, and service is all fantastic. Great specials too, easily the best $5.99 I've ever spent on a burger and I will do it again

Nice spot..didn’t find the beer menu to be as extensive as I’d imagined given the name. Burger was tasty…service was good. Place is worth a visit.

A great place for food, alcohol and soft drinks, with lots of TV's so you can keep an eye on multiple sports games at one time. There is also an outdoor seating area with TV's so you can enjoy the Florida weather while you eat, drink, and watch sports. I found the food was fresh and hot, and the service friendly and prompt. I will definitely return!

Ordered a house salad and the “Merica” burger. The salad was overflowing the bowl, fresh and delicious. The burger was outstanding….you could taste every flavor indicated on the menu. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Not to mention the Arena of televisions. Great place for Football. I will definitely be back. Maybe trivia Wednesday

After originally planning to go to hooter and seeing it was packed we noticed Food and Beer in the corner. We arrived 4 deep with a baby and dog and originally planned to sit outside. The staff was so nice they invited us in. The food was so incredible. It was the first time in a long time I was genuinely shocked and surprised by the amazing and unique quality of the food and excellent service. Best dining experience in a very long time. I'll be going back for sure.

The good thing about it was there were big screen TVs right in front of where I was sitting at the bar. Other than that, not very impressed. Average size cheeseburger, I got quite a few fries but they had a thyme seasoning or something like that on them that did not appeal to me. Limited selection on draft beers. I may give it another try. Everything deserves a second chance.

Had a messed up day in trucking. Truck broke down, tow truck that came to get me broke down while towing me. Eventually I was delivered to a repair shop, with little options of sustenance. I went on Uber eats, and decided to take a chance with this restaurant. Best decision that I could’ve made. I ordered a 10 piece flat chicken wings with the appealing flavor choice of Orange Habenero sauce and jalapeño ranch, it was Bussin! I also order the birria tacos with consommé, shhhh was so good I was looking forward to burps all night just so I could experience the flavor one mo time! I was definitely disappointed that I could only enjoy the FOOD but not the brewskis This place is always gonna be BUSSIN.

This place has amazing elevated food that makes my inner fat kid smile. Awesome sound system pumping good tunes throughout along with a game room in the back. Fun for friends or the whole family.

This place has the best food hands down! We had the birria tacos, chicken nuggets and sweet potato tots. We loved it so much we door dashed it and picked it up again the next night!

All and all good service from the servers and everyone else involved. The manager Leon was not responsive and standing at the door on his phone ignoring responsibilities and not welcoming guests. When he wasn’t on his phone, his attention was glued to the UFC fight showing on the TVs. We could see a full window of food from our seats. The kitchen provided wonderful food, and the beers were great. Overall good experience, just needs better management.

We loved this place. Came in on a Monday and lucked out with the burger special. $5.99 cheese burger and fries and what a great burger. Plus they had happy hour drinks till 7 pm. We will definitely be returning.

The atmosphere was different than what I’m used to, but that’s not the problem. I received soggy truffle fries and the description of the Birria tacos are incorrect! They claim to have authentic Mexican ingredients that fits their cuisine, but it is far from it!! I may be old, but my tastebuds are not dead!! This was my first time coming here and I will not be back!! I was extremely disappointed in the food quality. It is extremely overpriced for the quantity that you receive. Save yourself while you can! P.S: I was not even drunk enough to allow the taste to get 5 stars

Great good and fun game room. I just wish their beer selection was a little broader, considering the name of the restaurant. The biggest surprise was that they are a few doors down from Good Liquid brewery, but they didn't have any of their beers there. I'm still giving 5 stars simply because of how delicious the food was. We will be going back to try more.

My husband and I have dined at the Food + Beer Gulf Gate and Fruitville locations numerous times. When we got engaged, we knew we did not want a formal rehearsal dinner. Instead, I booked my “welcome reception” for my wedding here. To say that we were impressed would be an understatement. The manager, Chris, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I were happy. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were plentiful, and the service was incredible. Chris was so easy to work with. He was extremely responsive to emails and answered all my questions. He made sure that we as well as our guests enjoyed ourselves throughout the evening. Our guests raved about the entire night. We are so thankful for Food + Beer for bringing our casual cocktail hour welcome reception idea to life. I cannot recommend trying this place enough!

My beautiful wife and I visited the Bradenton restaurant on a Saturday night for our date nite . We arrive around 630pm or so and asked to sit at the bar, which is typical for us. We get a different vibe for a place sitting at the bar. Our server was pleasant and professional. She explained a few items on the menu which is quite extensive. We decided on the roasted buffalo cauliflower to split for our appetizer , and we split the Mericuhhh burger , with the Parmesan truffle fries. The burger was topped with tobacco fried onions ,cheddar, BBQ, bacon and blacking. Everything came out all at once , which was ok. The burger was excellent according to my burger connoisseur, my wife! I enjoyed it as well. The fries were also very good. I liked the buffalo cauliflower, my wife thought the sauce was a bit hot. Overall our visit was good fun, entertaining and filling. Lots of TV's for sports fans. We highly recommend this for a fun date night . We will definitely return again.
