First of all... The Bearded Clam is no longer. It's now called Tarpon Bay Grill and Tiki Bar. New ownership needs to take initiative and update Google maps. I understand there are MANY other things to do when a restaurant changes names, but, updating Google Maps needs to take precedence. That's how we ended up going to this place anyway... By Googling "Water front seafood near me"... we won't be back. The atmosphere is a little disjointed and no one was at the inside bar the whole time the rest of the party was eating. Service was slow, despite 10 people being there. We ( 4 adults, 1 child) ordered drinks and I was going to order a dozen oysters but I told the waiter I would like to see one before I commit to the dozen. I said "I will purchase one if you can't show em to me." The waiter said okay and I told him, "I'm gonna take my daughter to the bathroom, bring it when we get back." He said okay. When we returned the oyster had come and gone and when I asked if he could have left it, he said he was not allowed to leave it on the table and had to take it away. So I asked if he could bring it out again and he said "No. I can't." My wife took a picture of it for me but... How rude. Just tell me they are out, how bout send the chef out, anything other than disregard my request for bringing em out now that I was back to the table, then denying my second request out right. Turns out, I didn't eat anything. I will not settle for "hidden" food that would add to a bill, that this waiter was getting 20% of. The food got 3 stars because it came out pretty fast... 5-7 minutes, the poppers were giant, and everything was hot and crispy! GREAT FOR EVERYONE ELSE!😐

Only giving one star cause I have to. Don’t waste your time. We waited for almost two hours for food and watched other tables come and go. Our boyfriends were all groomsmen in a wedding and we’re trying to eat before but had to leave without even getting their food. The manager was super rude when we let her know about the situation and barely accommodated us for the food that wasn’t even going to be eaten. The server was super nice and there was nothing she could have done. Also, the food runner couldn’t be bothered to know the difference between a “fish sandwich” and a “grouper sandwich” not a big deal except for the fact there is a big price difference. After all of that, the manager couldn’t even be bothered to print our checks and made our poor server do it who was slammed with too many tables. The atmosphere is great and the drinks were really really good! But our food came out cold after waiting for almost two hours for it to be delivered... luckily we’re on vacation and probably won’t have the opportunity to come back.

I wanted clams but they had ran out. For a place right by the marina thats a bit of a let down. So I was forced to order the burger. The burger is supposed to come with coleslaw because Ive had it before at the same place and it did and it always does everywhere. It was missing coleslaw and barely came with any fries. When I asked for coleslaw it was brought over only to discover that it was charged on my bill- $4 for a little sauce size container with coleslaw. Not the way to run a restaurant. Completely turned me off. Will not be returning.

Great atmosphere, good service. Conch was horrible, it was tough not sweet at all. Chicken nachos also were horrible the cheese overpowered the whole dish. You needed a fork to get the cheese to come apart. I was extremely disappointed. Very cool setting on the water and Tori was very attentive.

Nice view of boats on water. Cuban sandwich was ok. Bottle beer wasn't very cold. Bartender needs a personality. Waitresses were good!

Honest staff! I left my purse & it was turned in by my waitress & everything was returned! Unbelievable!

There was no minus stars but there definitely should be. We were 2 couples looking for a water front restaurant/bar to enjoy a good meal and a few drinks close to our condo. The food was "OK" but the service was not so good. Felt like we were distributing her. Not friendly at all!!! Nice place over looking the water. The bathroom smelt like they hadn't been cleaned in years. Pure piss!!!! This is the same bathroom that bathers that use the pool, from the Ramada Inn use (a lot going in in bare feet ). We are new to the area just purchased a condo in the area. Would not....will not recommend this place to anyone. Drive on...... Hope the Ramada Inn Group POWERS THAT BE SEE THIS AND ACT ACCORDING.

I love this place. It's on my list of top restaurants I want to visit again. The food and drinks are great as is the service. Thank you Matt and Tori for just excellent service and pouring outstanding drinks. Let's talk atmosphere which can make or break a place. Located on the water front where the locals dock their boats to enjoy this establishment. If you stick around you will find these locals to be cool AF and nice as ever. I will def be back. Thanks guys

Great waterside location. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fresh and tasty. Great location and right near the airport.

The place has a cool atmosphere and location. Lots of fun to hang out at and has great live music. I was very disappointed in the service. Had to ask for silverware multiple times, was slow service, and our waitress was just talking at the bar the entire time. Wasn't impressed by the food at all either. Had the crab cakes which tasted funny. The vegetables that came as a side tasted like they had been sitting in water for a couple days and had absolutely no flavor. Fries were like any other french fry. The clam chowder was pretty good, besides the fact that they served it with stale crackers. Looks like a great place to enjoy a drink, but not necessarily your best option for a sit down meal.

I love this place! It's perfect for a relaxing evening, or hanging out during the day. The food is good, they've got a decent selection of beer, and the views are beautiful! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the service speed can be a bit unpredictable. Then again, the majority of their service staff is amazing.

Amazing view, food and service. Live music on Friday and Saturday night also Sunday afternoon. Bingo on Monday and Wednesdays at 4 p.m. Lots of fun

Great food, amazing waterfront sunsets, friendly servers and ice cold beer. Beautiful pool, lots of fun charity events. Ultimate locals hangout.

Had a late lunch. On the water. Fresh fresh fresh food, fresh fries, the seafood was on point! Mahi and crabcakes and calamari is amazing!
