We spent a wonderful evening in family. The first time with our kid. Tasty wine and delicious food, with the company of my loved ones in a cosy atmosphere. I would highly recommend booking your table in advance, just in case, as it can fill up very quickly through the evening.

We celebrated my daughters 40th here. There where about 30 of us. Everything was so well organised. Food was amazing and the staff where lovely. Nothing was too much. Will definitely be visiting again *****

Another fabulous meal cooked and served to perfection. Best in Liverpool. We had scallop and squid to start, and Sea Bass and Hallibut for mains all totally delicious.

Excellent!!! Absolutely great food, well presented (it's a little expensive, but, well worth it, we had the steak and fish & chips which were excellent) Easy access especially for disabled, (There's easy free parking around the corner on the church road retail park) Staff were really nice, welcoming, friendly, nothing to much trouble!! Highly Recommended.

Fabulous experience last night. Double celebration for an 80th and a teenager’s birthday. Food was Bob on and all the meals arrived at the same time. Quality, service and friendliness of staff was absolutely amazing. Wonderful. 50 out of 10. No make that 60…… 70……… 😂😂

The only problem with this restaurant is choosing what to eat. The food and service is of the highest standard and the flavour combinations are unique. I had the trio of fish which was sea bass,cod and halibut, pea puree, wild garlic and jersey royal croquettes in white wine sauce. despite being differing sizes and thickness each piece of fish was cooked to perfection. My entree of smoked duck breast, ballottine of pate, poached peach, Earl Grey jelly, brioche crouts was the best starter so far between here and Spain. The fillet of English beef was the best piece of steak and cooked to perfection. And then the prawn and crispy squid -sensational. All of this as well as being bookended in a famous spot just off Penny Lane.

Sublime. Onion soup, scallop, halibut and lamb.

First time for me at Spire last night. Superb on all levels. Well worth the drive through the tunnel and will be returning without question. To start I had the prawns and squid (didn't want to come to the end of it) followed by Goosnargh chicken...succulent and packed with flavour. Cheese and chutney to finish ( lovely selection and beautifully portioned).

Amazing food. I am intolerant to garlic, of all things, and the dishes the chef made for me were delicious. The staff/chef were very good at working out what could be made from the ingredients they had that would be tasty and garlic free. A big hit. Will be going back.

Food is really great. Restaurant is expensive but not pretentious. Happy to have this brilliant place in our neighbourhood.

Prefer an intimate ambience!. I.e. would be nice if other tables conversed amongst themselves rather than deafening us!. Still good though but not for us in future.

A wonderful restaurant and despite the lockdown, we've just had a takeaway fantastic Sunday roast with all the trimmings. The seafood first course was delicious, the mains roast beef was incredibly tender and the apple crumble, well, quite frankly we haven't tried it yet 'cos we were so full up after the first two courses but if they're anything to go by, then the pudding will be just as good! Give Spires a whirl, I promise you, you won't regret it.

Had been wanting to go here for a long while so maybe I had too high an expectation. Sat down and was looking at the menu when the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink. Difficult to answer really as there wasn't a drinks menu on the table which we pointed out to her. She came back,and shall I say kindly, 'despatched' said menu onto the table (flung). The free little cup of soup was lovely, the mains, steak and chips (which were burnt, maybe thats the way they come?) was small but okay, nothing to write home about but the peppercorn sauce was watery, which I commented on to the waitress when asked if everything was okay, which was countered by "I've never had one complaint in 20 years?.". Well you have now. Thank god we had cash with us as the couple on the next table were told that the card machine wasn't working and were told to go to the nearest cash machine to withdraw cash. Overall, not ravin Mary. Overpriced considering the service and size of portions

Unfortunately we had visited Moor Hall Aughton and Belzan before visiting the Spire… the standard of food, cleanliness and the customer service can’t compare! The food was good but the person serving seemed irritated and in no mood to discuss the food.

Have eaten at this restaurant a number of times and has been truly exceptional experience on every occasion. All the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. An excellent menu with plenty of choice and something for all palates. Beautifully presented food which was cooked perfectly. An extensively diverse very reasonably priced wine list is well worth exploring. One of the best overall dining experiences in Liverpool.

Fantastic food and lovely presentation. The 2 waitresses, Zeta and Zara were charming and very professional. All 4 of us loved it.

We were a party of 5 and had a fab lunch at Spire. Starters, mains and desserts couldn't be faulted. Everything was well presented and flavoursome. Service was excellent too despite there being a large wedding party in at the same time. Well done Spire. Definitely recommend.

Incredible food. Would definitely recommend! We shared both starters and mains so we could try more and all four dishes were sublime. The goats cheese and the duck terrine for the starters are highly recommended and we went for the beef and the lamb for our mains and both were equally delicious! It was tricky to get a table at the time we wanted on a Saturday night so I'd recommend booking if you want to go at a busy time and also bear in mind that there aren't many staff even if it's busy. Only down side was that we didn't get offered the dessert menu and I think as it was busy they wanted the table for the next customers but overall the fantastic food was so worth it.

Absolutely delicious. Excellent service. I had the potted ham hock to start and steak for main course. Both were delicious.

Another lovely meal at this restaurant. We were a party of 4, all enjoyed their meals. Food was tasty, hot and well presented. Excellent service throughout. One of my favourite restaurants
