Best quality breakfast in Romiley. I like everything done extra crispy and they didn't disappoint.

Had to return my breakfast as the bacon, sausage & mushrooms were all over cooked. Breakfast should never have been sent out by the chef, quality control everything. Also the breakfast menu states thick pork sausages when in fact their rather skinny. All in all it was rather expensive & disappointing especially when your on a time limit and food has to be returned.

Called for a coffee, waited 30 mins and still hadn't arrived so I went to the desk, to which Pippa I think she is called just said who served you, and to go back to my seat and they'll bring them over, they arrived then incorrect and then tasted awful so I asked for a refund. Not a single apology once, infact I'd say she was rude. During this time another couple left saying it was a shambles, which then made another couple get up and walk away, and a girl also leaving saying that's I wouldn't go back again. I've been here plenty of times but I'd definitely not been returning due to the customer service.

Had some lovely bread, nice of them to put a bit of meat on it. Whichever butcher they bought the sausage off had their pigs on a slim fast diet. Cute place but disappointing sandwich :(

Ordered the Steak Canadian and nice cold coke. Drink served almost immediately and lunch in less than 10 mins in a busy time. All the staff were welcoming and cannot fault it. Highly recommend, too full to try and of the yummy cakes! Their breakfasts looked good and good value too.

Tried for the first time today... What a pleasant surprise. Lovely staff, warm and welcoming environment and absolutely amazing tasteful food. I will be returning 🤗

Lovely little coffee house in the centre of Romiley. Pleasant, attentive (but unobtrusive) staff, and always good food. Recommended.

The cafe was very busy which is actually quite nice to see with the way things have been over the last two years. The prices were good and atmosphere was very nice in the place however it's a shame can not be said about some of the staff. The lady serving at the till and the lady bringing the drink/food over were lovely but there was one who had a very bad vibe to her just with the way she spoke. I just felt she wasn't very helpful to people such as instead of saying there's no room why not just say we are a little busy you can wait or try back in 10 minutes or so. To me it feel like she kind of spoke down to you (her tone) and was very selective who she would say bye to as your leaving the shop. Think that in itself ruined the experience but otherwise wasn't a bad little place.

Lovely spot for food, fantastic choice on the menu and surely something to suit all tastes.we had a Korean chicken burger as well as a Southern fried chicken burger with sweet chilli sauce and avocado, both were delicious and well portioned in terms of size. The staff are very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. We took our 7month old with us and they were more than happy to accommodate us and the buggy. Truly a wonderful community atmosphere inside the place and nice to see how warm and welcoming the staff are to the customers.

Not great , every time I attempt to go to this place they are a little bit rude , they don’t allow dogs so you have to sit at the side of a busy road and they take ages to get to you and serve you - gonna stop trying to get a different experience !

Nice cafe bonus open Sundays however they were looking at closing earlier than advertised time so may be worth checking. Staff were friendly. Food and drinks were good and very reasonably priced. Lots of varied dishes to choose from. The cakes are delicious.

I cannot speak higher of how friendly the staff are! Me and my partner arrived early afternoon with our 5 month old, pram and all the others bits and bobs. They were incredibly busy but managed to fit us in and were super accommodating. Service was quick but attentive. Our daughter was overly tired so we spent a lot of the time trying to get her to sleep, to which point a member of staff asked if we would like her to take our daughter so we could finish eating. Incredibly kind and meant for once we had a hot meal together. The lady in the kitchen spent a lot of the time interacting with our daughter and just made the whole experience very heartwarming. We live in Marple but will be making the travel to Romiley when we fancy some brunch in the future. The food was great, very well priced and I couldn’t fault it. See you all soon.

Love this place! My missus always visits and we make the most of it when we walk into the village at the weekend. The coffee is superb and the food is even better!!!

Visited No 29 on a Sunday morning. I had pre booked a table for five people. The cafe was quite busy with a good atmosphere our drinks order was taken quickly but we waited to place our food order. in the end we had to catch the attention of the waiter who informed us there was a 20mln delay. This turned out to be 1 hour by which time my 5yr old granddaughter was becoming a little restless. The food arrived eventually and was excellent it was just a shame it took so long. I would visit again but please give a realistic waiting time when busy. Thanks Steve Cooper

Eating out is a nightmare for me however the staff at 29 made me feel really welcome and double checked the ingredients for me. They could not have been more caring, they even cleaned a space in the kitchen for my food to be prepared separately. A wonderful cafe. Recommended the trillionaire tort - mmmm

No29 has had a bit of a makeover since the new manager took over. Pippa has worked really hard along with her lovely team to deliver a great new menu and an ambience making you want to return. We had the mushroom soup and a blt, all of which tasted delicious. Well done to all. Defo coming back for more.

Great breakfast but very busy and chaotic on the weekend. Nice coffees too. If you want a quiet relaxing experience go during the week.

First visit back after Covid and the team are doing such a great job. Screens are in place, they are wearing ppe, really mindful of you and want to make sure you have the best, comfortable and safe experience. Really enjoyed our breakfast and took some slices of cake away to enjoy this afternoon. Highly recommend!

We called in for breakfast was given a table and drinks order taken We have our breakfast order taken but unfortunately it did not arrive cafe was busy and did expect to a little wait We presumed they had forgotten us and another young ladies ask if all was ok after a gentleman on the next table mentioned we was concerned I explained our breakfast had not arrived and was offered out drinks Free which we accepted and left and went in a cafe opposite called Mellors and had a lovely breakfast (my husband is a diabetic so had taken his insulin after placing our order in cafe 29 so needed a cafe or food quite quick ) This has happened before in cafe 29 food not arriving but was willing to give it another chance today due to nice menu but unfortunately a nice menu is no good if food doesn’t arrive.

Great place for breakfast and dinner, friendly enough too. One curious thing, as I was sat opposite the specials board there are half a dozen lamps suspended in front of the board which makes it impossible to read.

Regular here. Great cafe. Staff so friendly and helpful. Often have breakfast dishes which are very tasty.

Had the opportunity to sample their home baked vegan cake out of curiosity ( I not vegan) which was ok and had a nice cuppa . For a Sunday and close to lunch time it was a smart move to do before a 2 1/2 mile walk around the area. The service was appreciated as the other cafes were full. So thank you to the staff servers.

First visit here since moving to the area and wow what a gem!!! Such nice staff and very Covid friendly. The food was delicious we will definitely be back!

We stopped in for breakfast as a family and it was mixed. The coffee is lovely, however both my wife and I ordered meals that included poached eggs and they were over cooked and rock hard... All four we received between us. The children had the american pancakes with syrup and they were clearly shop bought with a significant mark up. In summary id stop in for coffee again, probably not for breakfast.

I think this is a great place for coffee or lunch. The staff are lovely, the food is good and great value
