A beautiful afternoon spent at Vintage Ambiance with my sister. Beautiful setting and lovely staff always looking to provide the best service. Atmosphere was also very calming. Food was also AMAZING and would absolutely recommend it.

Great food. The back garden is lovely during the summer. They were very accommodating to my partners mother who is a fussy eater. Will 100% be going again.

Had a lovely lunch here on a weekday. Ordered the halloumi and red pepper open sandwich. I asked for avocado with it, and the staff member said it already comes with avocado, but that wasn’t listed on the menu. Food was very tasty and the halloumi portion was very generous! My friend enjoyed her food too. The staff were friendly but did seem busy. I would happily go back!

Really good gluten free selection on dishes and all their desserts are gluten free. Good price as well considering how nice it is. I wish they did gluten free pancakes though but all in all the food and cocktails are really tasty. The only thing I'd say is that it's sometimes fairly busy so book ahead.

Celebrated my daughters Baby Shower with close family and friends here. The afternoon tea was lovely and the service we received was excellent. Would highly recommend for small gatherings or if you just wanted a brew!

Really enjoyed my time here. We were late going in and the staff were really understanding. The food was good and the staff were lovely. My friend came with her baby and they were very accommodating giving us a high chair. I even liked one of the songs playing and the staff wrote the name down for me. It's fairly popular so they have time limitations but give you a reminder and don't try to rush you out. I'd recommend going here if you're about Monton.

Lovely, quaint little cafe in Monton. Service comes with a smile and the food was enjoyed by all of us. They made a special effort for my birthday too which was cute.

We’ve been to this place a load of times over the years. Foods always been amazing. Last night we were enticed in by the live music. They quickly got us a table and took our order. There’s a load of cocktail options. I selected an old fashioned which tasted amazing. Unexpectedly we were also given free pretzels. Unfortunately we had to leave early but would have stayed longer.

Decent modern British cafe, there's plenty of seats, service is friendly, and brisk. There's a plenty of choice in the breakfast and brunch menu, prices are reasonable. Food is very good, it's a decent standard, the portion sizes are generous. It's not that busy before 5pm, it's busy at lunchtimes and the morning so reservations are recommended.

Delicious food and lovely kind staff. However, small portions for the price and bread was burnt on outside but delicious otherwise. The brew was very weak, skimped on the tea leaves a little! They know how to smash avocado and poach an egg though!

Had a lovely lunch in here today with my friend. It's very nicely decorated inside with comfortable seating & tables. They have various menus for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Lunch menu was mainly sandwiches, salads, saviour pancakes & cakes. I had the beef brisket with cheese & my friend had the BLT on white fresh bread We had a lovely gin to wash it down which was nicely presented. Staff were very friendly but service was a little slow. The bill was £35 which I thought was quite steep for 2 sandwiches & 2 gins but maybe I'm out of touch on prices.

Always a warm welcome, friendly helpful staff and a very good variety of food at reasonable prices. Definitely going again.

I came here for a few cocktails with my partner after a lovely day at a spa. This was the perfect ending to a perfect day. The owner was very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us putting an extra heater on and the lady behind the bar making the cocktails is a treasure. She listened to what we like and helped recommend us her favourites she was very knowledgeable not to mention made the best cocktails!!!! The super nova cocktail in particular was our favourite 😍. We can't wait to go back again.

The staff are fabulous and couldn't possibly be more welcoming. Out only issue is that we were sat by the rudest woman on earth who felt the need to bellow her constant chatter above the wonderful singer then was openly hostile to us!

A welcome break after our walk. Pleasant and efficient staff. we sat outside, lucky with the weather. The tea could have been stronger.

Before I start this review I want to say how lovely the staff were, this review is not a reflection on them as they were beyond lovely and accommodating. With that out of the way, let's get into it. Firstly I was seated right next to the door, not sure what they can do about it, but every time that door opened on a cold winters day, you are feeling it. I had to put my coat on in the end. This could have been forgiven had the food been as amazing as the staff, alas that was not the case. I chose an item that I presumed could only be good as described as 'The famous VA Bennies' which was basically their take on an eggs Benedict. The eggs were slightly undercooked, you want a runny egg, but the white was also slightly runny. The hollandaise was tasteless too, definitely needs an overhaul. My son had a kids full English, he said it was nice, but he's 4 so can't really rely on his review. Such a shame as the place itself looks nice and the staff as I said were lovely.

Met up with work ladies who have retired for a coffee and cake, food looked lovely the cake we had was delicious, lovely spotless clean, staff friendly and came talking to us, loved the evening, made arrangements for another date, this is going to be our retirement girls meeting place.

We didn't have a booking, and we were given a table. The atmosphere was lovely and quite busy for a lunch time. The service was second to none and very attentive. The prices are in keeping with other places. The food was divine. I'd go again and would highly recommend to others

Turned up with my friend and her small baby, and they couldn’t do enough for us. They put us on a table with a full back seat so enough room for the little one to play with her toys, they kept coming over and asking if we needed anything and they were so accommodating (especially as we hadn’t booked and they were busy!) we had two breakfasts and coffees and all was so lovely. Such a great place and so so friendly!

Lovely place for brunch. If only I could have a cocktail but had a 4-hr drive ahead of me. I had the VA breakfast, which was delicious. Service was great and staff were friendly. Was very busy for a Monday morning so seems very popular. They do ask if I had a reservation but I didn't. Can imagine it would be very busy. Highly recommended.

Great brunch. Lovely staff. Came with a 1 year old, and they were super accommodating. Would recommend their pancakes. And hot chocolate. Good value, too. I got brunch loaded pancakes (pancakes with egg, bacon, and sausage patty, and maple syrup). It was so good and was about ten pounds. Highly recommend. Super chill.

Would recommend the pink latte and bacon/maple pancakes - although you might want to consider sharing as the portions are wonderfully generous! Definitely now one of my favourite spots in Monton.
