    It was my first time using Heath Lodge Clinic and it was outstanding. From the moment I arrived the process was smooth and without complication. I was greeted by Mandy and she instantly put me at ease and I felt in safe experienced hands.I was talked through every step and all my questions and concerns were answered. Following my results I also had a follow up call from Dr Beale who again answered all my questions, arranged my next appointment and took time to speak to me about what to expect next. He even asked if he could follow it up with a call in a few weeks to see how I was getting on. This experience for me was scary but having been to Heath Lodge I would highly recommend their services to anyone and everyone and can’t thank them enough for their support.

    Not made very welcome. Waited quite a while over time for appointment. When telephoned with a query was put on answer phone although clinic was open. No one returned my call in response to message left. When phoned again four hours later I mentioned this and received no apology. My query was dealt with dismissively. Actual staff who conducted my scan were lovely. Reception/admin appalling and this is the front line impression.

    Awful. Start to finish, had to keep chasing to make the appointment from referal.TEN days later they still haven't sent report to doctors. £245 badly spent. NHS deliver results back to GP usually 5 days

    After suffering massively with claustrophobia the staff were attentive and patient with me. Head MRI was carried out with minimal fuss and in a calming atmosphere. I cannot recommend Heath Lodge enough. Keep up the good work !!!!

    I went to heath lodge clinic for an OPEN mri on the 9th September . I can highly recommend this clinic i was made to feel very welcome and relaxed the staff were excellent as I was very nervous and they made me feel so relaxed. The clinic was spotless. Thank you so much Yours Mrs g pinchback

    I would like to thank everyone at Heath Lodge for the  friendly and  efficient way my recent appointment was dealt with, from my first telephone enquiry to the actual MRI scan on Wednesday 9th February. I cannot thank the two Radiographers, Claire & Nicole, enough for their kindness, consideration & professionalism - without these two I would not have been able to complete the scan due to claustrophobia. I have in the past been unable to complete an MRI scan. I would also like to add that the follow-up service has been second to none.

    Visit to this clinic was an hour drive for me and my son.Clinic and staff were fine.Appointment was late 35minutes which was on the 31/5/18 we were told that the results would take 5 to 6 working days no news I phoned on the 20/6/18 to find out why my son hadn’t had his results.I said that it says on your website it takes 5/6working days not 15 days that we had waited for results.Told they would look into it three phone calls later on the same day for the bookings staff to tell me that it had been sent that was at 19-45 that night.I don’t expect to pay privately for a MRI scan that cost £245 to wait 15 days for the results and it would have been more days if I hadn’t have phoned up and mothered for it.Asked to speak to the manager for an explanation on why and maybe a refund or discount still waiting for the call back. Disgusting service for private care will defiantly not be recommending any of my family or friends here only to tell what disgusting service we had and still waiting for an apology from the manager if I don’t get a response from them I will be phoning CQC to see what they have to say about it 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

    Having claustrophobia and inability to swallow whilst lying down MRI's have always been a terrifying experience for me...until coming to heath lodge. Staff were superb, really taking on board my problems and fears and mitigating them as far as possible whilst talking me through each scan cycle. Thank you radiographers, you were brilliant.

    I attended an appointment today for an MRI Scan on my left shoulder. I am claustrophobic and after 3 attempts and a mini panic attack one of the radiologist stayed in the room with me at the end where my head was, she continued to stroke my right shoulder reassuring me it was all ok. I am truly thankful to her and will not hesitate to book again if i ever need another scan. Truly the loveliest most caring person.

    I have had many scans over the years , via NHS, Spire and BMI ...out of them all I have to say Heath Lodge have been excellent ...why ? good price , well about the same as BMI but I got to see my scan straight away and had a explanation I could understand ..... If I never need to have another I would ask to have it done at Heath Lodge Kind regards Simon Williams had a ankle MRI , patient of Mark Herron at the BMI Hospital

    I am always made to feel extremely welcome by all staff including front desk, nurses and theatre staff. My anxiety is usually really high before my treatment and I'm always met with kind and caring staff who immediately ease my anxiety. Everyone is helpful and professional at all times. I cannot fault the service provided and the standard of care and attention! 100% recommend Heath Lodge if you're looking for first class treatment and care. Thanks to all of you for your continued kindness!

    I visited Heath Lodge for X-rays and an MRI recently The clinic is so clean, welcoming comfortable and spacious and the staff are friendly competent and efficient. I would have been happy to wait a fair time in this environment but I barely had a wait either. The MRI was a relaxed procedure with music and headphones and I was talked thro by the machine at every stage. I left with digital copies of my X-rays on the day My consultant also commented on how good the X-rays were that had been taken that enabled him to see my problem closely Thank you Heath Lodge Team

    Excellent!. From booking my appointment welcome greeting & smile from the receptionist . The Radiographer warm welcome explained what was going to happen . The waiting room beautifully decorated & coffee 😋. Given my X-Ray copy CD . I would certainly recommend Heath Lodge . Thank you Jane B

    For anyone who is scared if going into a scanner for whatever reason please dont be. I attended Heath lodge clinic today and was greeted by a lovely young man who was very kind and friendly, Ithe scanner is quite small and not scary at all, i kept my eyes closed all the while i was in the scanner as i am a bit claustrophobic and the 20 minutes in there went really fast ,a very easy scan and the staff are lovely I absolutely reccomend this clinic thank you to the lovely staff

    Myself and my family have used Heath lodge over the years and we cannot recommend them more highly for diagnostic scanning services. They offer very competitive pricing and a quick turnaround on scan reports - just what you want when you are suffering from a problem and you want answers. And they are always so very helpful - from the reception staff to the scanning staff. The clinic also seem to continually invest in their equipment and facilities. Definitely one of the best in the Midlands at what they do.

    The worst medical care I've ever received. I was in agony for weeks while the doctor ignored my GP's request for more information on my scan. Despite calling and pleading for the information to be sent, his staff did nothing to aid me. I only received the information after visiting the clinic and having an impromptu appointment, during which the doctor claimed not to be aware of my GP's, and my own, repeated requests for clarification. Reprehensible behaviour for medical professionals. I called earlier today (24/02/21) but no-one answered the phone. My scan was in March 2015. The impromptu appointment - which was needed due to my being ignored by everyone at HLC until I turned up in person and insisted on a meeting - was in April 2015. My wife was also there, as she had to drive me to the clinic. I didn't leave a review earlier as I wanted to simply forget the whole episode but, having spoken to a friend who visited HLC recently, decided that I would share my experience.

    Having had an MRI at Heath Lodge has totally changed how I feel about having a scan. Due to severe claustrophobia I was extremely anxious before hand. I have been unable to have a scan before in other places I have tried. However, thanks to your team’s kindness and patience, I succeeded this time. It made all the difference that I was allowed to proceed at my own pace and didn’t feel hurried or pressured. Everyone was so lovely and the clinic has a very calm and reassuring feel. It is a great relief to know that I have found somewhere I can have any tests that I may need without any worry. Thank you.

    I visited Heath lodge today I am someone who suffers from anxiety and claustrophobia the staff were amazing I was taken to a room with a member of staff who went through some safety questions I was reassured and shown an image of the MRI scan, I was taken to the lockers to put away my stuff. I was then taken to the MRI room again such amazing staff reassured me told me what would happen and if at any point I didn't feel comfortable they would take me out of the machine, I was given a headset where a member of staff stayed with me checked on me and reassured me all the way which kept me calm and made me feel like I was on good hands.. I would like to thank the staff at Heath lodge for such an amazing service. Oh and not forgetting the hot chocolate from the hot drinks machine beautiful!

    I attended Heath Lodge Clinic at the end of March 2023 for an MRI scan. The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The radiographer clearly explained everything that would be happening and I was very much put at ease. I would highly recommend, and will definitely use again if more imaging is needed.

    Thank you all so very much for your kindness and help regarding my back problems Dr Abil Doger is amazing has given me a new lease of life i have been in excrutiating pain for over a year but after his treatment i have so far been pain free for over 2 months now thank you so much Dr Doger and staff you are Wonderful many thanks

    After recently attending the Heath lodge clinic to have a procedure, I have say the service and care I received was outstanding. From the moment arriving at the clinic I was greeted by the happy reception staff who directed me into the grand waiting area which was extremely clean and tidy. I was then to the procedure area and again the all staff introduced themselves and me feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Once the procedure was underway Chrisie who was the nurse in the operating room could see that I was in pain and knelt down, she knelt down and took hold of my hands and comforted me throughout the whole procedure. At one point I had to apologise as I was squeezing so hard. Once out of the procedure I was offered tea/coffee with lotus biscuits which was a much welcomed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend family friends and anyone else wanting to attend this this clinic. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish

    Took mum for mri scan on her back and she was obviously a bit nervous about having it done. However she didnt have to worry , we found the staff very friemdly and professional and were open to any questions we had. The clinic itself was spotless and a nice touch was phoning through and being met at the front.door by the actual radiographer.

    What a fantastic experience as a patient. Had an MRI at Heath Lodge, felt completely COVID safe throughout, and the staff were exceptionally friendly but also clear about exactly what was going to happen. The icing on the cake for me was that due to having the scan late on a Friday, the Doctor made the time to come and talk to me about the results rather than leave me waiting all weekend (and probably a few days into the next week), really went above and beyond but gave me peace of mind going into the weekend. Highly recommended.

    Staff are professional and the clinic is set in a gorgeous period featured building. As a nervous patient I wish I had more communication whilst in the MRI machine, headphones and ear plugs provided to help reduce noise from the machine. Other than that no qualm, they have a lovely not chocolate machine and waiting area.

    I visited Heath Lodge for an MRI the other week on my back, after failing at another MRI due to claustrophobia. Heath Lodge were fabulous with me even before my actual appointment. However, the day came and to be honest I was terrified. My sister came along, due to possible sedation happening, but I’m so pleased to say I didn’t need the sedation in the end. Yes I was scared, BUT the actual MRI scan was nothing like my mind had pictured it. The machines are amazing but what really puts you at ease are the wonderful staff, without them it would have been a much more challenging process - I am forever grateful. Additionally, the fact they let my sister be with me and she was able to hold my shoulder and reassure me was above and beyond my expectations and really allowed me to get through the scan (alongside the regular updates and talking through the process by the consultant). Thank you so much - my experience of an MRI before that had been terrifying but you’ve done so much to ease my mind and if I need another MRI I’d certainly be back to Heath Lodge. Thank you again.

    I had an MRI scan of my head and ears on Friday 06/05/22. I am claustrophobic and I was extremely anxious of what will happen and if I will manage to go through the scan without panicking. Since beginning till the end of the appointment the lovely lady radiographer and her assistant were so supportive and very helpful to get me through it. I would highly recommend that place because staff is amazing and there is nothing to worry about. Thank you once again 😊

    As a professional athlete I have had a few MRI scans. This happens to have been the worst clinic with the worst service. They were late which isn't a problem. BUT when you get your MRI report and its 4 sentences long and looks like a child could have written it! It isn't acceptable at all, and I now have to pay out more money to get it properly assessed.

    Absolutely heartbreaking to see my elderly mother suffering more pain than before her procedure at Heath Lodge Clinic Money is tight but she was desperate to relieve the persistent pain from her sciatic nerve and couldn't face the endless NHS wait , and was referred to Mr Haaland who treated her at Heath Lodge Clinic Following the treatment , she is in more pain than before and the attitude of Heath Lodge was to take it up with Mr Haaland who's solution is another consultation fee and possibly further expense with trying the procedure again ! Very disappointing waste of money, i would not recommend this clinic who are more interested in taking money as a business than patient care and well being !

    Had a MRI scan in August MRI staff were friendly. Over a week later no report sent to my GP, had to speak to reception staff twice over the phone to send report over to my GP. Finally after about a hour of back and forth calls to the clinic and GP the report was emailed. MRI staff are friendly and welcoming, but the receptionist staff need more training in customer service skills. Very unprofessional.

    This Clinic is fantastic and so professional. For a claustrophobic person the staff put me at ease straight away and all the way through the scan. They are a true credit to the team. The receptionist who rang me to book my scan was so friendly. All of the staff I saw were so lovely. Please if you suffer from any form of claustrophobia this is the place to go.

    Having experienced a very unpleasant claustrophobic MRI scan at one of the Nuffield Hospital's 'lorry trailer' scanners, I decided to book my next scan elsewhere. I chose Heath Lodge and I'm so glad I did. I attended today for the scan, having been offered a 'sedation slot' cancellation, at quite short notice. As it turned out, I didn't require sedation, because the experience at Heath Lodge was so different from what happened at at The Nuffield. The machine at Heath Lodge is more like a fat donut than a long tube. It is much more modern than the typical trailer scanner, only about 4 feet long, with 2 big open ends and housed in a brightly lit room. When you are inside the machine, your head is very close to its open far end and (if you look backwards) you can 'see daylight', not just the roof of the scanner that you see in the older 'tube' scanners. Your legs and feet are out in the open air, so it feels much more like a CT scan experience. For my scan, there were several excellent radiologists in attendance and the one conducting the scan (Mandy?) kept in audible contact with me throughout the entire process, telling me exactly what was going on and what was required of me. It was incredibly reassuring. All the staff at Heath Lodge couldn't have been more understanding, professional and attentive. Like most phobias, claustrophobia is irrational, but if you suffer from it, it's a very real and worrying thing to you. My advice to anyone who suffers from it and has to have an MRI scan would be to contact Heath Lodge - you won't go far wrong. They are even easy to find - just 300 yards off Junction 5 of the M42. Downsides? well, the scan cost me over £100 more than I was originally quoted on the phone, which was disappointing, but that's about it.

    Very poor service. I took my wife for a scan during the pandemic & the service was much better. My ankle scan took almost 2 hours from arriving in the car park. Maybe they were having a bad day but I had to make 3 phone calls from the car park before getting through then kept waiting in the car for 20 mins. followed by a further 10/15mins. in reception. The hand santiser outside was broken. another 15 minute wait in the locker room. I was told the scan would take approx. 25 mins. it took at least 45 mins. with no communication. No apologies for the delay. I sent a similar message to the clinic over 12 days ago but no response other than a holding email. Would not recommend

    I have been to Heath Lodge on a couple of occasions for both an MRI and an Ultrasound. At both visits I found the clinic itself to be immaculately clean and all the staff from bookings, to reception and the radiographers who did my scans, friendly and caring, yet professional. My reports were expedited to my referrers within the time frame quoted to me and were very detailed and thorough which enabled a swift plans moving forward. Thank you for your kind attentions in both matters.

    I have attended Heath Lodge for several scans and procedures I can't recommend it highly enough David Beale was exceptionally informative and put my mind at rest it was worth every penny do not hesitate to book my only advice should have don it sooner!!

    A really helpful and professional service from Heath Lodge Clinic. I have now used them twice - for MRI and X-Ray and from the highly efficient and responsive Sarah Ravenscroft at reception to her colleagues in Radiology makes for a very good service. Reasonable prices, straightforward booking & good parking.

    Hard to know where to begin! Firstly I had an urgent need for an MRI. From the very moment of contact to the MRI itself on 18th August 2020 I have been treated with such kindness, empathy and just downright decency by every single person I have had the pleasure to speak to - and eventually - to meet. When one is feeling vunerable with often our own version of what MAY be wrong it's a joy to be met with kindness. I was vunerable with health issues and TERRIFIED of the MRI scan that was to prove of such great value. I'm claustrophobic. From that first phone call I was reassured all would be well. I tried to believe them. My appointment time came and I was sick to my stomach nervous! I needn't have been. The scanner was wide and short and both ends open. I was talked to all the way through. Apart from when I was singing! The Radiographer was perfect. Then ...... came the need for a DXA scan. On the 19th September. Different operator same high standard of care and concern. She had the patience of a saint and did her utmost to do her most important job without causing my painful bones more stress! Bless her. Furthermore....... can there be MORE? YES there is!! I needed the copy report of my MRI and my GP wouldn't send it to me!! Following necessary protocol the lovely bookings girl sent it to me! She phoned and let me know she'd do it. She went above and beyond. I shan't forget her kindness. And she was up against a very tight time frame indeed. Thank you to all there at Heath Lodge Clinic. And to prospective new patients..... you're in good hands. In more ways than one.

    I am a physio, married to a physio, and we have referred patients to the clinic. Feedback ALWAYS positive. Had never personally used the service until last night when I had an MRI on my "hurty knee". Easy to book over 'phone and appointment available within two working days at a time that suited. Difficult to spot small road side sign (left hand side if travelling East) and had to turn round. DON'T turn on golf club car park! Once arrived. Ample parking. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Friendly and helpful assistance nurse and radiographer / MRI operator. Hadn't expected but delighted to receive verbal feedback on my scan from Dr Beale (Consultant). Dr Beale explained his reading of the scan to me and was most helpful with questions. His "bedside" manner is exceptional. Many other medics could learn a thing or two from him. OVERALL: I will continue to personally use and professionally refer my patients to this excellent facility.

    This place is amazing, it was very professional and very quick to get you in for an appointment, The staff are very friendly and helpful, It’s in a very good location just off the M 42 at Junction five but it is quite easy to miss however they now have a white sign out the front so it’s easier to spot The equipment scans and reports are excellent, to a point that this place is save my life more than once on many occasions. Sion is amazing and has gone above and beyond for me, saving my life more than once, very caring and helpful as well as professional. Dr. Beale is also very professional, And gives you the facts for what they are without over exaggerating the truth, Also if required he will also inform the unbound place where you need to go if that is required. Very highly recommend it’s an amazing place an amazing staff and with the introduction of the 3T scanner it’s an amazing facility.

    I was experiencing shoulder and arm pain and was referred to Heath Lodge Clinic for a scan. After a few questions i was quickly and easily booked in for a scan the same day. The whole process ran very smoothly and the staff are very professional, letting you know what is going to happen at every step of the way. The staff in the scanner are all very friendly and quickly answer any queries or worries and make you feel at ease whilst the scan is in progress, also letting you know how you are doing and how long is left. I am a little claustrophobic and have had scans before but the scanner at Heath Lodge is light, bright and larger and I was able to see out of the end of the scanner making it an easy experience. After the scan my report was sent to my GP within 5 working days and I left with a cd of the scan at the end of my appointment. The onsite radiology consultant referred me on to see an onsite pain consultant who was very thorough and prescribed me appropriate medication to help with my pain. I would highly recommend Heath Lodge Clinic, a professional and easy experience with caring staff from start to finish.

    I attended CMC Imaging / Heath Lodge Clinic on 05/07/2019 for an MRI scan of my Knee on their new 3T Scanner. I was seen immediately after checking in with the reception team. I'd been sat for no more than 10-15 seconds before I was called through by Sioned to the new 3T facility where I was shown to the locker room to store my belongings, before being greeted by Dr Beale who would be performing the Scan himself. I'm not sure if anyone is a "fan" of being in an MRI scanner, but as far as my experience goes - this was above and beyond. The new scanner is far less claustrophobic than others I've been in before, and is equipped with a TV/projector where you can watch and listen to different scenes to relax/distract to whilst the scans are performed. A voice-over also advises how long each scan takes, which is far more helpful than it sounds when trying to remain still! Whole procedure took 15 minutes (as Dr Beale advised before hand), and was genuinely the least stressful MRI scan I've ever had. Perfect service, and thanks again. - Sam

    I had been waiting for an MRI on the NHS for around 6 weeks and there was no improvement in my issue. I was concerned that my injury would lead to a long term problem so I made the decision to go down the private route. I was made to feel incredibly welcome by the staff at Heath Lodge and I've never had the opportunity to use private health care. It was such a positive experience that made me realise how incredibly fortunate we are to be able to access this level of care when many others are on very long waiting lists and in some cases unable to access any form of healthcare in other parts of the world where I've worked in the past.Just being able to have access to the images on a disc so quickly and knowing the results will be with my GP as well as a very comprehensive consultation has put my mind at rest. I've noticed on here that people are complaining about waiting, but whilst you may have to wait it's important to remember that the waiting is down to the methodical and detailed level of care that the radiologists put into their reports. Far more comprehensive than anything I've received on the NHS. First class service in a lovely setting. I really appreciated going through the park to get here and also the comfy chairs in the waiting area.

    I experience bad claustrophobia and these nurses were brilliant gave me time to adjust no rushing. Absolutely delighted with the treatment I received. Very welcoming clinic.

    An outstanding service from start to finish. I brought my mother in for an emergency MRI scan on her spine, she was in significant pain on arrival and was extremely anxious about the MRI itself and the result. She was greeted with unquestionable kindness, empathy and understanding. The warmth and care shown from all the staff instantly eased my mothers anxiety. The MRI itself was swift and every measure was taken to make her as comfortable as possible. The consultation that followed was informative and lead with true compassion. It was a scary time for both myself and my mother and we are so incredibly grateful for the calm and kind manner the situation and options were explained to us by Dr Beale along with the speed in which the measures required to action emergency surgery happened. The report was with the hospital by the time we arrived, an exceptional turn around and a true testament to how much they care for their patients. To be able to offer such compassionate, kind and expert service during "normal times" is a credit but being able to provide this level during covid safe measure is beyond outstanding. We will be forever grateful for the service we received at Heath Lodge Clinic and could not recommend it more highly. Thank you.

    I had an appointment at this clinic via my solicitor after an accident. I went on the first day of school holidays as I couldn't change the appointment therefore I had my two children with me. On arrival I could immediately tell my children were not welcome in reception. The snotty receptionist left and came back with another lady whom expressed her concern that my children were here. I explained, and she could see they're very well behaved. I explained it's school holidays and they'd be fine for 10 mins whilst I have my scan. I must reiterate my children were sat down, occupied and are very well behaved. I was then approached again.. they were running late... and asked to go to another room to be told my kids being there was a safeguarding issue!! I again explained they're well behaved and I'm not concerned about them waiting for me for 10 mins. I know my children! Then I was asked to leave the waiting area because one of my children was watching a cartoon on my phone with volume low.. both being sat quietly with no problems. I refused to move and asked others waiting if my kids were bothering them to be told no, they were fine. I was treated disgustingly by these people. My children were quiet, polite and well behaved. This was mostly done in front of other patients and has the clinic was running an hour late I had to sit there feeling totally embarrassed and upset by their action towards me. The actual staff whom did my scan were lovely. This was unacceptable.

    Wish I had listened to the google reviews I had read prior to attending my appointment. I expressed my concern to the receptionist about them not sticking to their promised 5 working day turn around, she said this very rarely happens so I carried on with the scan. Low and behold 6 working days later not counting weekends, still no scan. I'll keep you informed how this goes.

    Attended on 22/2/21 for MRI. Radiographer, very understanding of my hearing loss. I was treated respectfully and with great kindness. Receptionist was friendly and informative.

    I did a chest X ray to prove that I am COVID free so I could travel. It is a very stressful time to travel. The staff in the clinic are very helpful and friendly, I was booked in for an appointment very quickly, and they tried their best to help me get the report within the date I needed. Their understanding and the efficiency definitly saved me from lots of stress. I would definitely recommend them.
