We visit Kelling Heath every year and just love it ! It is a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature at its best. There are lots of walks and trails to enjoy either on the forest or across the heathland. I often describe Kelling Heath as a rustic version of Centre Parcs.....without the price tag and commercialism. Thoroughly recommend for a relaxing break in lovely surroundings. We always book direct with owners and have always had great accommodation. Unlike other holiday parks, the caravans are hidden amongst the trees in such a way that you can't see your neighbours, you are more likely to see squirrels and muntjacs !

Fantastic week camping at Kelling Heath, the activities are great, did wild food tasting and low ropes, both instructors were brilliant with the kids, would definitely recommend. Showers and toilets were kept immaculate and cleaners were in constantly throughout the day. The only criticism I have is the outdoor pool, I think if the staff used the nets to remove the dead/dying wasps from the water it would be much improved, we cancelled our last two pool sessions.

We have been regular visitors to Kelling Heath since our son was 3 years old (11 years ago!). It’s an absolutely fantastic location and park, especially for young families. Our only criticism would be that as our son has gotten older we are a little disappointed that the park have removed the arcade room which was a great meeting place for young people in the evening. Our family request would be for more teenager activities please.. pool tables or games arcade would be awesome. I’d also say, don’t rely on the restaurant for evening meals. For a couple years running now we have been told that the kitchen can’t cope and orders for food can’t be taken . This was said to us at 7:30 pm on a Saturday evening (food advertised to stop at 9pm). Just something to bare in mind if your first evening is at the weekend. Regardless, it’s an absolutely amazing place and would recommend.

Super location for anyone who loves the outdoors. The holiday park has every feature you could need, a shop, fitness centre with gym and two swimming pools. Choice of family friendly accommodation from premium wooden lodges, to caravans to camping. Acres of stunning forest and heathland. Have stayed here often. Family friendly. Highly recommended.

We stayed here last Friday for 4 nights on an XL tent pitch with electric on the yellow dragonfly field and its a lovely place to visit. The grounds are kept beautifully as well as the toilet/shower block. Lots of wildlife to see and plenty of woodland walks and bike trails that are also suitable for small children. Brilliant location to visit many East coast seaside areas. The only downside for us was the shop, bar and restaurant prices, which are pretty extortionate but I guess you get that on most sites

Just great campsite for families. Lots going on, facilities great, close to coast, friendly staff, just very well run. It even has its own steam train station where you can flag a train down to Sherringham and Holt. Plan to stay a week a year for the foreseeable, top notch

Kelling Heath is a good well kept site with big pitches, good walks and good facilities. The one thing that lets it down badly is the lack of WiFi around the park. We paid over £50 per night for a touring pitch and it’s simply not acceptable in this modern world to have to walk to the central area just to connect to the outside world.

The best camping experience in Norfolk. Clean bathrooms and ample pitches. Staff always helpful and descret. Amazing walks on site and topped off with the poppy line steam trains

A fantastic first experience at this site. The diverse range of facilities, from decent pitches to top-notch family shower facilities, catered perfectly to our outdoor adventure. Notably, the convenience of EV chargers and a well-stocked quality grocery shop made the stay even more convenient. The added amenities like the gym, spa, and bike rental service from Huff and Puff Cycles were a great touch, though families might need to plan for the cost. The staff's exceptional service and the safe, family-friendly environment with lovely night sky, woodland walks with deer and squirrels, playgrounds, bike trails and steam train make this place excellent for all nature enthusiasts. Highly recommended for an all-encompassing outdoor retreat.

Fantastic place to stay. Roomy pitches, good parks. Gym was great. We had a lovely time and will certainly be going back. In fact we have already booked it.

Love this place, but campers please remember tent walls are only a thin material so watching TV in your tent at night with the volume turned up isn't ideal! Apart from that the site is fabulous, lots to do and so much space. The shop is well stocked, staff are friendly, location top notch.

All in all very pleasant weeks stay at Kelling heath Holiday Park. It's really hard to fault and we all had a superb time. Our daughter especially loved trying the fishing out which was hosted by Kelling heaths own in house angler.

Great little find staff all super friendly and helpful. The location is excellent next to so many gray little trips though you could spend a lot of time on the park itself due to the beautiful walk, cycle routes play parks etc. The free activities were an added bonus though clearly a lot of guests had booked further in advance of the 1 week advised in the email as when we went to book 1 week before a lot was fully booked. Only couple notes would be the pool day pass should be £20 for a family max as you can’t take kids in after 6pm which makes it unlikely you will visit twice. Or how about extend night swims for families in the holidays? Also the bar area is a little cramped if the weather is bad can this not be extended somehow considering the size of park? Last thing check in not clear signage of where to park with a touring caravan suggest to improve signage or have staff to greet new arrivals to ensure better coordination Overall we really loved it though the steam railway right at the edge of the park was amazing as were the red squirrels in the breeding enclosure. We will be back and also have recommended to several other families too!

We stayed in a mobile home, nice plot and quiet! Shirt walk to the facilities, which are OK. The bar could be bigger, and there are no pool tables it's just a drinking den!

I can only say about the gym and pool section... Great, nice split between family/kids and relax section. Knowledgeable young stuff, Michael- good Manager!

We've been coming here for over 18 years, sorry to say, never again. We normally come out of season, but made the mistake of coming during the start of the school holidays. Kelling Heath is sold as a peaceful, tranquil and relaxing holiday, dark sky, no WiFi and plenty of wildlife. Our experience was everything but. We arrived on Saturday, and that evening we were relaxing in our Woodlark caravan, when the music started in the Square. The bass was so loud, it drowned out the TV. We spoke to the Duty Manager who got the volume turned down, about an hour later. After driving for over two and a half hours to get here, we just wanted a peaceful and relaxing evening. The following Tuesday, again there was music in the Square, which drowned out our TV, it finally stopped at 9pm. Our caravan although quite new, was disappointing, one of the toilets was so small that when you were in there, you couldn't close the door. The other toilet/shower was bigger but the shower was very small and cramped. The main bedroom was small, our feet stuck out of the small bed, which was also very uncomfortable. Kelling Heath is sold as a peaceful, tranquil and relaxing holiday, it wasn't for us. Takeaway vans in the Square, over loud music, dogs barking, and their owners not clearing up after them. We had booked another holiday for September this year, but cancelled it, during our stay. The whole ethos of Kelling Heath has changed for the worse, in my opinion. We cut our holiday short by two days as there was entertainment in the Square on the Thursday and we didn't want to be subjected to over loud music, again. The day after we got home, we received a call from Kelling Heath asking why we cut our holiday short, we gave them the reasons, and was offered a discount on our next holiday at Kelling Heath, needless to say we won't be returning. I am upset and disappointed that we won't be returning to Kelling Heath, but times change, not always for the better. 😢😠

Really can’t fault our stay at Kelling Heath. It was our first visit and we’ll definitely be returning. We camped with friends and there is so much to do, if you want to. Lots of options for an action packed day and evening or quieter alternatives too. The children loved their stay. We hired bikes for them and they were happy riding around the site and using the adventure playground, playing tennis. The Square offers a fully stocked shop, bar and restaurant, table tennis and evening entertainment for all the family. There are pop up food outlets each night offering savoury and sweet food and the pizzas on site also went down very well. A most enjoyable time was had by all our group.

First time visiting for a short camping trip over a weekend. I have to say the location, amenities, on site pub and restaurant and shop were all excellent. Already booked a return trip for next year due to how much we as a family enjoyed this trip. Highly recommend to any campers out there as worth a trip as the walking routes and idyllic scenery were amazing.

Just spent a couple of days at Kelling Heath, been there a few times now and found it to be a great site. Facilities are good, although some of the campers personal hygiene leaves a lot to be desired, cleaner up after yourselves and respect the hard work which has been put into the site. It is one of those sites were you can do as little or as much as you like, beaches not too far away and the North Norfolk steam railway runs very close and you can jump on the train at Weybourne to Sheringham or Holt.

Just back from a family weekend break here, it was lovely. We stayed in the Walnut platinum Lodge and it was a luxury lodge with a few added extras. It was cosy and had everything we needed. There were a couple of minor things that need attention but nothing that spoiled the stay. The food at the restaurant was soooo good, shame there's not a kids area somewhere in there though. The swimming pool was included in our stay which was great. We done some ping pong, lots of walking, scavenger hunts for the kids which they loved and there's some small outdoor play areas dotted about. It was not very busy which made it peaceful and relaxing and we saw deer, squirrels and the sheep which the kids thought were great. One squirrel tried to get in our lodge. We will definitely be coming back next year, can't wait 🙌.

We had a fantastic time camping at Kelling Heath Holiday Park. We went during peak time at the start of the summer and even though it was very busy there is enough space there so you don't feel cramped at all. The kids enjoyed the 3 play areas which are all of a decent size and well maintained. The toilet and shower facilities were clean but if your block is being cleaned it is a bit of a trek to the next nearest ones. Kelling Heath has a host of onsite activities that need to be booked, and evening entertainment in the village square for kids and adults. The onsite restaurant was a bit pricey so we didn't eat there. The little shop had most of the basics you would need whilst staying there. The scenery is absolutely beautiful with some great walks within the site. Kelling Heath also boasts an on site train station to catch a steam train which takes you into several nearby towns and villages and there is also a cycle hire on site too with a good selection of bikes. We absolutely loved our time here and would definitely return

Lovely area and site location. Such a shame the prices of food & provisions are so expensive. We arrived on Monday and reception advised if we wanted to use the outdoor pool to take our wrist bands, Tuesday morning we went to outdoor pool to be told it was fully booked until Thursday! (The day we leave). We did, of course, have the option to pay extra for the indoor pool. Shame. On the plus side, the site is kept nice and the fully serviced hard standing tourer pitches are great. My advice - use shops in Holt or Sheringham for your supplies.

Simply, unquantifiably perfect. I have been coming to KH since I was 2years old. Everywhere holds memories and when I brought my 2 year old boy, it meant the world. Thankyou to everyone that makes this park practically perfect in every way.

I haven't stayed but use the grounds, shop and restaurant regularly. I can say it is a wonderfully beautiful area, the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful to the point I am considering taking up a job there some point in the future. Cannot fault the place at all.

Stay here twice yearly for the astronomy weekends. Always well organised and staff friendly and helpful. Good size pitches and facilities are very good, nice and clean. There are plenty of water points, too. Visited the first weekend it was open 2023. Excellent walks and plenty to do. Dark sky's too, so bring a telescope

Really nice location to enjoy a weekend camping break. The park is great, with large pitches, and excellent facilities. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Cant fault it!

Had a lovely stay at Kelling Heath over last bank holiday. Meal in restaurant was delicious Definitely recommend cheesecake best ever! The staff were friendly over the whole site. Lovely woodland walks, well equipped shop, lovely cafe. I’ve been coming here on and off for over 30 years and it has grown into an awesome site with a great location near Cromer, and surrounding area. Highly recommend if I could give it more stars I would!

Absolutely love this place. Almost a destination in itself. Accommodation is clean and functional if staying in lodges/vans. Campsite as tourer or tent equally good in terms of wash facilities, etc. On site shop, fairly well stocked. Visited many times, love coming back. Great for young families, those right teenagers, couples - anyone really! North Norfolk railway halt always a must do, swimming pool small but fairly clean and warm with helpful staff, walks abundant with nature, cycle tracks, ping pong tables, tennis courts,

We stayed for the weekend in our campervan for the real ale and gin festival. Couldn't fault the site and amenities. Lovely large site which blends in with the woodland. The only criticism of the weekend was the system of tokens at the bar which overcomplicated things and could only be bought in £10 denominations. We ended up with unspent tokens which had to be spent on site with no offer of a refund.

Always love coming here. One of my sons is autistic has sensory processing disorder and other challenges but this is like a safe place to him. He loves being here so much and is so settled we have visited 3 times this year staying in a lodge. The lodges are prefect, the park is beautiful and the facilities are good. Apart from the food, first 2 times we visited this year the restaurant was open all the time but now not open during day but there are alternatives and the shop is well stocked although you cannot get a cooked meal until 5pm. A few nights a week the restaurant is even closed although this is made up by food vans outside all of which are fantastic apart from the fish and chip van where after queuing outside in the cold for 40 minutes which I didn’t mind with any of the other vans on other nights even though by time we got to front of que some had run out of things. The fish and chip van though the lady looked fed up, she was very rude and had a attitude, they had run out of a lot so we had to change from scampi to fish, more expensive but not a problem she then couldn’t do this as a meal deal apparently as she had run out of sauce, I said I would have without sauce but said because no sauce would have to charge the higher price and pay for the fish, chips and peas separately so the total for 5 people to eat went up a lot. With the restaurant being closed and only other thing available was chorizo burgers we didnt have much choice. She was very rude about it to, they really couldn’t care about customers as long as they have your money. All other vans fantastic especially breakfast van even though she ran out of items she was polite about it so no a problem. Apart from food van fantastic

It's very nice. I'm not sure what the prices are as I'm not the one that paid. The land is perfect for walks or for riding a bike, and there's plenty of parks to entertain kids. Watch out for the big hills, though.

  • 2/5 D P. 1 year ago on Google
A beautiful site with good facilities. This unfortunately did not meet the experience I was looking for. For tent camping, I would not recommend this site. We were surrounded on all sides by caravans. No camp fires allowed of any kind and the pitch had to be set up in a particular order. We were camping with friends and booked 2 pitches. The tents had to be set far apart. So with no camp fire, not being anywhere near our friends and being surrounded by caravans, what exactly else is there to do. All a bit of a mood killer. I expect that this would be a great stop for a caravan but this site didn't meet my needs.

  • 2/5 Col T. 1 year ago on Google
Went with my caravan for 5 nights in the Blue Butterfly zone off peak in October. No phone signal here or WiFi unless you walk a distance to the on-site cafe which made planning excursions difficult. Not great TV reception, I could only get Yorkshire and Lincolnshire so no local news. Shower block dated, showers hot at one end and cold at the other, nozzles unadjustable and spray at your face, remember to hang your clothes up in a bag for protection! Recess in the cubicle too small for bottles of shampoo/gel so had to place on a fold down seat the other side of a heavy plastic screen. Push button control meant the shower ran forever or for just a short while so you need to keep pressing it constantly, not good when you're naked, reaching through a plastic screen, and getting freezing water jetted at you until it warms through which could take a while (see above). Lights are on a timer and went out as the water took so long to heat through, I had to leave the cubicle, wave my arms around to reactivate them then continue with my shower. Thankfully no-one came in. After a few days I took to showering while it was still light because of this. Sink taps on push activation too. But, the block was very clean (I met the cleaners every morning). On the plus side, there are lots of areas to walk around through the trees and scrub, and lots of wildlife to observe. Weybourne is an easy walk away and you pass the heritage railway en-route. Unfortunately, I won't revisit anytime soon.

Great time with the family grandchildren loved the playground the site's surrounded by woodland. There's a pub restaurant, swimming pool and shop. You can catch the steam train from Kelling halt or a walk through the woods to Weybourne Station.
