This place is one of a kind. I've had my fair share of live gigs in countless different venues but I'm yet to find one that can even come close to this iconic venue. It's got an atmosphere like no other. No matter what the band or event, you can guarantee that you'll have to unforgettable time here. From the first time I had the pleasure to see a band performing here I fell in love. I couldn't think of a better place to enjoy live music. It gets better every time I go. I'll be happily going here until I'm on my death bed.

This old venue in the centre of Holmfirth comes to life when a band's in town. Being a Londoner, it takes around 4hrs to get there but never fails to satisfy on the night. Great sound, great lights & good staff. Plenty of room on the ground floor for dancing with a seated balcony for the less livelier ticket holder ;) Cant wait to be back in 2023

What a fabulous venue. It's a beautiful old cinema converted into a gig venue. A really lovely bar & an outside seated area. The bar staff were lovely young lasses. You have to have plastic glasses if you are going into the main venue. The sloped floor means that you get a good view even further back. It's completely unique & has a lovely atmosphere. I will be going again & again

Fabulous venue, brilliant gig (as usual) by the magnificent "Go West" but something special on Sat night, the atmosphere was electric, the boys were off the scale and the crowd were unbelievable. Not a gig I'll forget in a hurry. 👌👍

Excellent music venue, not too small, not too big. With its slopping floor(use to be a cinema)you get a great view of the stage from the bar area. Seats are available, you can move around where you wish.

Saw From the Jam on Thursday - a great concert in an iconic venue. All the hits were played sending the audience home happy.

One of our favourite local venues. Great views of the stage from all angles. Very well managed, polite and friendly staff too. Pictures from the recent Toyah gig

Easily one of the best live music venues in the country. Slightly sloping floor makes viewing really good. Bar prices are very reasonable and the town itself is beautiful. Johnny Marr was off the scale

What a superb venue. We saw Public Image Ltd at the Picturedrome and it was quite possibly the best gig I’ve been to. As well as Mr Lydon and Co being otherworldly in their brilliance, the venue itself is great. It is a beautiful historic building but also exceptionally well set out with seating upstairs and standing by the stage. All round, a fabulous experience.

Saw the Hazey Jane's and Living Colour. Amazing venue, great sound, great stage and great staff too!! Wish it was easier to get to but you can't have it all!

Awesome place for a Gig, I've been many times and well worth a visit. Two good bars, plastic glasses though. A cracking view of the stage if you want to get up close but take your ear plugs with the PA in your left ear.

Amazing venue and the acoustics are just phenomenal. Looks like am abandoned building from outside but inside its absolutely stunning. Parking is Terri le round the town but we found some at coop. It was free and loads of bays.

Love the picturedrome such a great place to visit the building has a lot of history and is a great for gigs etc. I have visited here about 3 times it does not cost the earth and we always have such a good time as everyone gets so involved in the music. On the whole I would totally reccomned visiting and checking out what bands are upcoming in the next few months :)

Amazing venue I have been many times to see different artists. Kenny Wayne Shepherd this time around which was brilliant. Back next month to see Walter Trout again.

Went to see Elvana gig, which was my first visit to the Picturedrome. Loved it; so full of character and enjoyed the ranges of viewing positions available (I opted for the top level with a great view of the stage). Although the gig was sold out it never felt uncomfortably overcrowded which was another plus for me.

Brilliant place and good welcoming facilities. Lovely to find a venue with age policies for some gigs that meant we could take our very sensible, very well behaved, music loving nine year old along. She and we thought Tasha Leaper's Madonna tribute act was great. We'll definitely be back.

Enjoyed the Heaven 17 gig, even with a broken toe! Security allowed me to sit on a chair on the balcony. The atmosphere was great and the band gave a brilliant performance!

My favourite music venue ever! Has been done up since we last were there. Thoroughly recommend and love the picturedrome cups!

Fantastic venue for Gigs. Been twice now and enjoyed it thoroughly both times. Good bar inside, but also a good pub right next door to enjoy before the Venue's doors open. Recommended. ☺️

This is a great place for seeing band's. Especially if you are an ol' punk/rocker like me. Been here quite a few times and always a great atmosphere, and it's not so big so always get a good view of the bands from where ever you are. I will most definitely be back!! 👩‍🎤🎸😃
