Thank you! My headset was clunking so I took it apart only to discover the bearings had disintegrated. I went to this shop to see if they would sell me some new bearings and some grease. Instead of charging me they just asked for a donation in the charity pot. Little good will gestures like this aren't forgotten and I'll be using you again / recommend you.

My wife and I came here as we are both after an electric bike each, and as ebikes are new to us we needed some guidance. The three members of staff were completely disinterested in helping, and didn't even acknowledge us. We were the only customers in the shop and walked around for a good ten minutes but after receiving zero service we left to take our custom elsewhere.

A Mr Gavin James Taylor who works at this place is not the person to go to. He needs to read the Discrimination act 2010 as well as the government official documents relating to exemptions over mask wearing in shops. Just been in to purchase a second bike (purchased one a few weeks ago - another story), went with my partner who is EXEMPT from masks and Mr Gavin Taylor asked why he didn't have one and unfortunately we had forgotten to take the exemption card with us. Apparently it wasnt good enough and although my partner told him he doesnt need to be prove anything he accused my partner of lieing. This is outrageous. After arguing for a period of time (which took longer than it would have for me to purchase another bike) a member of staff, who apparently is NOT exempt, walks out from the back full of cold not wearing one. When confronted with this Gavin Taylor said it's ok because hes just come out from the back. This is not acceptable from any company. No one needs to prove their exemption as stated on the government documents. So because of this I've cancelled the first bike purchased and requested a refund. I refuse to spend any money here anymore. Also because Mr Gavin Taylor has breached the Disability and discrimination act he will be reported. I thought this was the best place to buy bikes and accessories but clearly I was wrong. A valuable customer lost.

Staff don’t know how to deal with customers, really not impressed with their service or the price, shocking.

Got a bike on the ride to work scheme. Paul was very helpful & happy to help me select the best bike possible with accessories. Paul did well by me, very happy & will keep going back.

Booked 5 days in advance, correspondence was appauling and so was the attitude of staff. Trying to rip people off would 100 percent avoid rude staff. Over priced.

Poor selection of bikes, although this can be excused due to the current shortage of bikes. However customer service was terrible, went in the shop never got asked if I wanted any assistance or had any questions. There were to members of staff at the counter who couldn't of been less interested. I left and spent my £1500 elsewhere, deffintbdeffint wouldn't buy a bike from here.

I can't praise Leisure Lakes Bikes Leeds enough and in particular the help of Paul S who patiently helped me to choose between two bikes, building them both up from stock so I could make an informed decision. There was no pressure to sell to me and the whole experience was positive and one which I will be repeating when I look to purchase my next bike. Great shop, quality stock and helpful people.

Great choice of stock. The staff are great too - apart from one. You will know him when you meet him! Otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Took my bike to have tubeless tyre resealed in Nov 19. Ive come to change that exact tyre this evening to find a tube inside and covered in sealant. Made a right mess of it and charged me without telling me what they had done. Pretty deceitful to be honest.

Great Shop & Staff popped in without appointment for some parts fitting even though they were fully booked they managed to fit me in there was also a part missing which they supplied from a part on sale and ordered a new one so I am able to ride this weekend. Finally the dropper lever they supplied was cheaper than anywhere else what more could I ask for. They will be seeing me again.

Completely ignored by the staff when I went in. They have no women’s clothing available, a pitiful display of shoes and full face (not in a range of sizes). Just don’t waste your time visiting leisure lakes.

Leeds shop was really helpful for my last purchase. Paul I think it was helped to keep me informed of the progress on my order and the whole team were very friendly. The technician has done a great job setting the bike up also, Thanks guys 👍

I recently purchased a bike through Leisure Lakes Bikes and have been really happy with the service I've received. All the guys have been super friendly and attentive from delivery through to aftercare. I had a small issue with the gears after assembly (no fault of the shop) so one of the team came out of his way to do a home visit for the fix. They could not have been more helpful and punctual in getting everything fully resolved for me. The customer service has been wonderful and I love my new bike.

I've always found these guys very helpful, fair and good value from big jobs to small. They helped me fix an ebike that was under warranty (bought elsewhere) and didn't even charge me. Would heartily recommend.

Bought a brand new bike and broke first day I rode it. (Wayne) the manager at the time was really unhelpful and I needed up paying another £40 to get it repaired. Didn't offer any alternative apart from paying again. Went back and had a really helpful guy who I wished would of had in the first place.

Really poor customer service ! Not a very good atmosphere in the shop staff didn't want to engage. said hello and goodbye but just got a grunt back.

I bought a Cube Stereo 140 E-Bike from Leisure Lakes Bikes a couple of months ago and have to say, they answered my barrage of newbie questions about the bike overall, and the 'high tech' systems (well, compared to my last ageing non e-bike!) and nothing seemed too much trouble. Would recommend, and have just put the phone down from another question and got a straight answer without hassle.

Called in for some advice on ebikes and what best suited me. Found a bike I liked stocked at another branch which they ordered and built for me to check for sizing(xl frame). 7 days later I was riding my new bike home. Great advice and service

My bike needed a lot of work, and Leisure Lakes got the job done quickly, and at a reasonable price. They really knew their stuff. I was very impressed and will certainly be going back to them.

As a complete novice with a bike salvaged from the tip, I was really impressed with the service and value at Leisure Lakes Bikes. Wayne and Paul were very helpful but it was Tom who went above and beyond to get my seat post sorted . I would strongly recommend them.

Great selection of bikes. E bikes too. Good knowledge of the kit on all bikes, so you can make more of a constructed decision. Super selection of service levels. Definitely recommend. 👍

Very friendly and helpfull staff . Knowledgeable mechanics aswell they will work on any bike . Most other shops wouldn’t shorten my hope tech 4 hose and bleed it for me because the bike was a surron and not peddle bike . Would use the service again 🙌💯

Everybody I dealt with at LeisureLakes was incredibly helpful especially the workshop - nothing was too much trouble and although Im pretty much a novice they were more than happy to impart their knowledge and service - Handlebars on my sons bike were damaged and covid/brexit challenges have caused huge delays with replacement parts so their team completely refitted the damages with other parts that were available so my son wasn't left without his bike during the wait. Definitely people who know and love their bikes

Ordered a bike online. When i went to view it they had got the wrong size in. When they finally got the right size in it was damaged. They offered a set of free pedals and £50 credit. I agreed but not happy. Took bike in for free first service and was told it would be an hour when booked over the phone. Went back after an hour to be told there was no technicians in and it would be ready tomorrow. Went back a week later to be told i owed money for some bars that i had asked to be fitted. No knowledge of the credit on my file. They eventually honored the credit. They also didn't check the front brake as i had asked for because it is still rubbish. Won't be going back here again as they are pretty useless and don't seem to know what is going on.

Very poor customer services, ignored by the salesman even though the shop was empty, once we approached him he seemed totally uninterested and less than helpful, we won’t be back.
