Enjoyed a fabulous tour with Emma on Saturday with a group of friends. A fantastic way to spend a Saturday afternoon of learning, culture and entertainment. Emma devised a special tour of Food and Feminism in Manchester which included influential women of note from history and of the present. Emma is a terrific tour guide and I am excited to work my way through the extensive list of tours she provides.

This tour was a great introduction to both Manchester and its music scene! Emma was an enthusiastic and articulate guide who led us through the city's landmarks, explained their history and then played the music that bands like the Smiths, Buzzcocks and Oasis made there. The tour added surprising new emotion to some of my favorite songs.

Saturday afternoon pub tour of Manchester , lead by Emma Fox , knew some of the pubs on the tour, but the history that Emma added took the experience to a new level, fantastic day out in the company of Emma and the great people in the group, Looking forward to more tours with this excellent business. Had an early evening Southern Cemetery Tour with Emma. Really enjoyed it, from the history of the cemetery and how Manchester’s history helped form it, to many interesting characters and notable people resting there. The tour is a fascinating visit to Southern Cemetery in Manchester. Emma guides you around the features of the place and brings to life some of the interesting people who lived their lives in Manchester. She points out all the landmarks that allow you to navigate your way around the area. I particularly like the avenues that are named after the trees that are planted along them. I will definitely return to visit the place again and I highly recommend it to anyone.

I never knew that Worsley was steeped in so much history, fantastic tour with Emma today which included the Alphabet bridge, orange canals, coal mines and the amazing sculptures around the redevelopment of The Delph (Est1761.org). She has a very engaging way of passing on information and took us round lots of interesting graves as well as regaling us with local stories and anecdotes. I learned that LS Lowry is buried here, as well as the industrialist who first backed Manchester United. Went on the Southern Cemetery tour with Emma and I have to say that it’s one of the best £11 I have ever spent. Over 2 hrs round the cemetery and the breadth of Emma’s knowledge is amazing. I cannot recommend enough. A great way to spend a couple of hours.
